Very disappointed that despite emailing three times, including photos of the damaged item, I still have not received a response. I wanted to give them every opportunity to reply before posting a review.

Cat food pouches within the main box had split, causing the cat food to leak from the pouches over multiple sashes within the box, and which spread over the inside of the packaging. This resulted in a very smelly and wet, horrible mess. The sachets needed to be individually taken out, inspected for those which had split, cleaned off and put into another storage container. Those that had split smelled putrid (I guess this happened early on in transit and they subsequently had gone off).

I understand this was no doubt caused during delivery, but shame on the company for ignoring all three emails. I never expected a refund of any kind; just acknowledgment of the situation.

Only received part of my order, I've opened a case with the company however i've had no response. Seems ignoring people is their default method of dealing with issues ridiculous. I have multiple camera outside my house showing the items weren't delivered I've informed the company however they're not interested in seeing that they've made a mistake.

Reliable & convenient, no more lugging boxes of cat food from the supermarket or looking for deals. Everything is delivered to my front door & competitively priced. You have to go through the pain of shopping to appreciate how convenient petshop.co.uk is. Highly recommended

They charged delivery on a £250+ order. Order 12:01 Friday Morning and still not here. At least Zooplus get you your order. I am disabled and housebound so had to do a local delivery order for my pets. So get to add £60 onto it. Still not coming today (Tuesday) so have to do another. Not worth the hassle, not reliable. Cancelling all my recurring orders now as need a company I can trust.

Customer service appears to be non existent, it’s impossible to get through on the phone!

Tried to order last week and the item was out of stock, so I gave up and purchased the pet food elsewhere. On checking my bank today I have had just short of £50 taken, no emails or anything to confirm an order has even taken place .. tried to call, waited a life time and no one answered I’m at work so after half hour had to give up as I had my next appointment. The item is still advertised online as out of stock, so the company should not be taking money from my account for items they dont have available. I have absolutely no idea what is happening, if the order is arriving or not as I can’t speak to a human. I do not think it’s acceptable to take balances from customers accounts when you potentially have no stock of the item and cannot supply it knowing you could be leaving customers out of pocket/awaiting refunds. In addition, if you are taking money from accounts there should be some kind of email correspondence to confirm the order.

On the whole the company takes money from your account for stock they do not have, do not answer the phone so you cannot get any kind of clarification and do not send email confirmations to explain the balance taken. I do not recommend a company that takes money for items out of stock, dishonest and unreliable.

Good delivery

I read the reviews and thought what a good company, however, my experience has not been the best.
The quality of the food is amazing but the lack of customer service and communication is the reason for the poor review. I arranged my subscription for over £100.00 per month with the bottomless bowl, I waited a week for a 3 to 5 day delivery, no update, emailed, no response. I called and was advised the delay was due to not having the food we requested. So, I found an alternative supplier (local pet store) so cancelled the subscription and repeat order. On Friday Petshop took over £100.00 out of my account even though I have cancelled and having just spent over £100.00 on buying the dog food from the pet store, couldn’t speak to anyone on Friday as no one was taking calls, called this morning and now have to wait 3 to 5 days to refund money that should not have been taken. Not impressed.

So great to find a company that is British and started from scratch by a couple who care. I have cancelled my subscription with a large Pet Supplier. I will be using Petshop UK for all my cats requirements from now on.

I placed an order for dog food and delivery within three days. Five days later no sign of order and when I check status of my order on the website it says..in warehouse. I have sent emails and messages and getting no response and if I try to phone they are not accepting calls.
So seems like I've been scammed.

Just spent the evening cleaning out maggots from my kitchen! I ordered the bottomless bowl, which was about £60 of dog food in this case. Because I didn’t need it straight away I stored it in the kitchen. Trying to figure out what the smell was, 2 out of the 4 trays of Lilly’s kitchen wet food were damaged and absolutely crawling with maggots.

Two of our cats have health problems and sometimes we find it hard to purchase wet food from one site. After finding petshop.co.uk we can now buy what we require from one supplier. Good prices with speedy delivery.
