Took out motorcycle insurance and…
Took out motorcycle insurance and thought i entered correctly.
Checked documents within 5 minutes and realised
i had entered wrong garage structure and called immediately to correct and they charged me £30,00.
Not happy, a bit of discretion would of gone a long way.

We understand it can be frustrating to spot an error shortly after taking out a policy and then incur a charge to correct it. However, details such as where a motorcycle is stored are important rating factors and must be accurate to ensure the correct cover is in place and to avoid potential issues in the event of a claim.
We would also like to clarify that our amendment charges are clearly advised and agreed to prior to purchase as part of our terms and conditions. The fee was applied in line with these agreed terms when the policy was amended.
We appreciate your comments and are sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations.

Bad experience so I cancelled the policy
Really poor experience and I ended up cancelling the policy after 6 days and going with a different company. Not easy to get in touch and often on hold for a long time, then found that some of the customer services agents are not helpful and quite rude. One who I spoke to when calling to cancel was brilliant. All others were not. Charge extortionate fees if you need to change anything on the policy too.
Even after cancelling I'm having issues, my new insurer is saying the Peter Best policy is showing as active on the insurance database and Peter Best seem to not understand this and think that the insurance database doesn't show the insurer on there. So my new insurer couldn't accept my NCB due to the policy still showing as active under the Peter Best policy. Unfortunately seems like Peter Best insurance don't really know what they're doing and I will be avoiding them going forward
