Disgusted. I had a long silly chat explaining that I'd taken another contents out and I already had one. I'm disgusted as it took 40 minutes and nothing. I wont be taking out another policy with your company

AVOID THIS CAR INSURANCE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience with this company has been. My son took out insurance on my car on 16/01/2026 and paid £198 for the annual policy. The policy was cancelled on 02/03/2026 so only 45 days cover in total.
The brakes needed urgent repair (a faulty hydraulic module), my son had to buy his own car and understandably needed to transfer his NCB. I requested a quote for a replacement policy — it was outrageous. I decided to cancel the original policy.
Here’s what they told me:

“Your cancellation cost is £198.37 — including £93.97 for time on risk, a broker fee of £64, £0 for additional products, and a £40.40 cancellation fee. You’ve paid £198.97 toward the policy, so your refund is £0. Broker fees and products are non-refundable after 14 days.”
In other words, they refused to refund anything, even though the policy was barely used. T

This company is a nightmare. Do NOT waste your money here. I certainly won't, they have lost out on 5 cars in our household. Choose a reputable insurer that will treat you fairly and actually refund unused premiums.

Applied for the insurance for price and free extras.filled in details and bought. Looked at policy noticed a few changes.ie unemployed to retired and no commuting. Got in touch via live chat with tara .she explained company policy on afew things.ie the changes.if your not working apparently you dont need commuting when not working. Had to cut chat short as had job interview. Luckily got the job.got back in touch later.had livechat with Lauryn.G.dicussed things with her and she altered the policy to warehouse operative with commuting problem sorted plus unexpected refund of £8.both ladies were very professional kind and patient despite me giving them abit of hassle.which I apologised for.would give both of them a definite 5 star rating.company got excellent livechat staff.very calm even with boisterous customers. Thanks again.recommend the company .
