Pegasus Publishers Omdömen

Some New Yorker bestsellers have long served as my models and source of motivation. Pegasus Elliot Mackenzie Publishers is a professional publisher, although the publication process is long.

Pegasus Publishers have been absolutely amazing. From the very beginning their communication, support and attention to detail has been spot on. ( A huge thank you especially to Georgina )
I could not recommend them highly enough! Thank you for helping to make my dream come true. X

Pegasus Publishing is a game changer! As a self-published author who's never dealt with a publisher before, they assisted me through the process of polishing my novel and with marketing strategies. I highly recommend them for any author seeking to get their books published.

Pegasus Publishers are, in my opinion, a fraudulent company who prey upon innocent writers whose only dream is to have their manuscript published in a professional manner. I paid 2600 pounds and I haven't received one thing that could be construed as publishable back from them, not one iota. Please be very careful of this company as they will rip you off and not pay a refund. They also attempted to falsely state that I had breached contract several times even though I proved this was totally false

Please, be very careful of this company

They take an age to reply to emails, mostly not even having the decency to even reply. They told me my complimentary copies would be sent out and I had to call them weeks later to chase it up. I've ordered copies for myself and I'm now been told that it will take weeks to get my books, despite the fact that the publishing date will be passed by weeks. I am extremely unhappy with the service provided by Pegasus.

Complete waste of money. I would have been better off self-publishing. Lack of communication during the entire process- I had to keep chasing everything up. Editing was atrocious (I wondered if English was their 2nd language). I had to correct mistakes made and edit it 3x myself. I wrote the blurb myself after theirs was literally nothing to do with the book. Marketing was almost non-existent. They didn't promote my novel at all- no contact with bookstores, libraries, etc of the list they requested. Wrong price on Amazon Australia for weeks.

I particularly liked the speed of their responses — I never felt left waiting.

The feedback from my editor was constructive and encouraging.

I had a good experience with my first three books, the last one has taken over two years and except for one employee they seem annoyed with my inquiries and frustrations with the delay. It took several back and forth edits and their were more mistakes after they went through it then when I originally submitted it. They do not put a lot of time or care into how they format the book, but I also understand that I was a hybrid contract and not a top author. Overall disappointing and probably would have had a better product and experience if I self-published.

Atrocious service. They only thing they did well was take my money. Zero publicity, I didn't even get on their Instagram page!!!!. The royalties are a scam. Even though I wrote to them and sent them invoices of books sold on Amazon, they did not pay me. I had 20 invoices form Spain and they claimed I had only sold 2!!! They published the book on the very last day of the contract, it took them almost 15 months to publish. They did a terrible job of proof reading. The kindle is a disaster. The woman in charge of my book was constantly away. I did two readings and they ignored all the photos I sent. THEY DID NOTHING. if you have money to burn they are a great option. Otherwise steer clear!!!!

They provided excellent support and guidance for a new author. I'm very glad I chose Pegasus as my publisher.

The journey to publication is often a solitary one for a writer, but the team of Pegasus has made it feel like a shared accomplishment. The support, communication, and encouragement have been invaluable. As I move forward with my writing, this experience will serve as a constant reminder of the power of a dedicated publisher and the importance of having a partner who truly believes in their work.
Thank you again for everything. I am incredibly proud to be a Pegasus author.

Pegasus communicated every step of their publishing process clearly and completely, and replied promptly to my emails. Their cover design team was brilliant as was the person who composed the cover blurb.

I am very pleased with the publishing experience offered by Pegasus Elliot Mackenzie Publishers Ltd. I have 2 children's books published under their Nightingale imprint with a third in progress and have found them to be consistently professional, courteous and very quick to respond to my many questions. During the publishing process, I have been encouraged to express my preferences in order to have the books reflect my vision for them. It is my opinion that Pegasus Elliot Mackenzie Publishers is a 5 star publishing house and I am thrilled to be counted among their authors.

I signed a deal with Pegasus Publishers and all of the emails disappeared from my inbox. I emailed them and they didn't reply. Don't publish your book with Pegasus Publishers.

Please stay away from this publisher, especially if you are a new author.

My confidence has been badly shaken by my experience with Pegasus Publishers. I was thrilled when I got an acceptance email from them (in February 2024). It was the first such email I had gotten, and I proudly told all my family and friends of my achievement. Fast forward to now, and there is no sign that my book will ever materialise. I have honestly given up hope.

When I signed the contract with Pegasus, I made the mistake of doing so without doing my due diligence and researching the publisher. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Read all the reviews you can, read Pegasus's responses to those reviews, and make your own informed decision from there.

I'm not sure if I will continue writing after this experience. Maybe in a few years, when my confidence has been built up once more, I'll be able to take a chance again. But I know that there is one publisher I will be avoiding.

Everything went wrong, I feel that this Publisher did all they possibly could in making the process so difficult that they were hoping that I might simply give up.
I don’t know if others have had the same experience with this publisher, Although my first book was completely different, had a wonderful proofreader, that took me through each and every process without any problems, with this book, Proofreading was almost absent, it was a case of do it yourself. In the end the book turned out to be a complete mess.

Excellent publishers, great to work with!

Every email they sent me throughout my publishing journey was written warmly and was very informative, they gave me timeframes within which I could expect each update and always adhered to them. They helped me a lot with getting my manuscript up to standard and always kept me updated. A great experience, very kind and professional.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. The team at Pegasus are professional, supportive, and genuinely care about their authors/illustrators. Communication has been excellent, and they’ve made the whole process exciting and stress-free. I couldn’t be happier with the result and highly recommend them!
