The worst experience I've ever had in terms of time, health and money. Mr Abbas was the paralegal and who followed my case. The data was manipulated in favor to the defendant. Indeed, I had to spend a couple of years before finding someone capable of taking up my legal case. Stay away from this company and anyone who works there, wasted time.

I’ve been dealing with [new law] for over 3 years regarding a motor vehicle accident. From Day 1, the service has been unprofessional and totally unreliable. I was getting no where with my claim, resending my Medical Notes as they are only valid for 12 months.... It got to a stage where I contacted the Legal Ombudsman to sort out the poor service and lack/no communication from them. I received compensation from New Law, but I am still waiting for an update after 3 months - 4 emails sent and 1 telephone call to them with no relevant update. I have just sent another email to their Complaints department and will contact the Ombudsman again if they do not respond within the next 2 weeks.

Zero stars.
Sent me another clients personal details, they are "investigating" where my details have been sent. Took me 2 emails and a phone call to get no response so far.
Not sure where I am meant to send this other person's personal details to. A shocking breach of GDPR!!! Which they either unaware of the importance, or it's a regular occurance.
Car accident was in June 2024, still no closer to it being resolved.
Would NOT recommend New Law, unless you like things done at a snails pace, and your personal information going who knows where!!!!

Absolutely shocking company been trying to get hold of staff from the Cardiff office since end of 2024 calls go straight to a mailbox so it’s impossible to speak to anybody

I originally left a negative review due to long periods where I felt left in the dark and the claim taking several years to progress.

I want to update this as my case has now been settled and payment received. While the process was much longer than expected and communication could have been better, the final outcome was fair and once it reached the final stages things moved quickly.

Overall, a mixed experience – frustrating at times, but resolved properly in the end.

Accident November 2023 - fault admitted by the other party -all appts and information given/uploaded immediately. No reponse or update since Feb 24... awful company - Emailed multiple times and not one reply. Poor communication and customer service is non existent. AVOID!

Do not use New Law Solicitors . They are absolutely useless . My dad passed away 4 years ago and they still have not completed the handover of all assets in a very straight forward transaction . All talk very nicely but then blame each other for not getting things done . Never get back to you via email or telephone for weeks . Do yourself a favour and use a different company Went to them in the beginning of 2021 and still not fully settled and it is June 2025 . No complications a straight forward case . NEVER GET HOLD OF ANYONE WITH AUTHORITY

The people who who work there give differing information
They are very slow to respond
They are very slow to resolve any issues
Oh I could go on and on and …….

Just to add the claim is for a minor RTC unfortunately the service I am getting from New Low is causing more anxiety the the actual incident….

Avoid at All Costs – Zero Communication, False Promises, Unprofessional Staff
I’ve been dealing with NewLaw Solicitors for almost eight months on my injury claim (Ref: 316604NBE), and it’s been nothing but frustration. I sent a formal complaint on May 8 — no reply. I called twice since and was given more empty promises.

They skipped key steps, like a promised referral to a chiropractor, and rushed my case into a “negotiation” phase that’s gone nowhere. What’s worse is how familiar this story is — I’ve read countless reviews from other customers who went through the exact same thing: zero communication, unqualified staff, and repeated lies.

Completely unprofessional. Avoid this firm at all costs. I am taking this case elsewhere now and will be dealt by professional lawyers, not the ones recommended by the insurance company. Learned my lesson the hard way unfortunately.

Absolutely terrible company nothing happens unless you chase and chase them. Personal injury claim on going since January 2024 and still nowhere near settled

Sadly 1 star is being generous- absolutely shocking communication, the probate has taken 1.5years after death of my father and this is due to system errors, misinformation and staff randomly going on annual leave so we were left in the dark half of the time.
I actually had to escalate it to management and even thereafter the case took almost a year to close.

Please do not use this company if you want to save yourself further mental stress! Its the worse decision I took to use this company- please don't ignore the reviews !

After reading the reviews I am not surprised about my current experience with NewLaw.
I have had a medical report which is basically all lies and my pain has been all but deduced down to 3 hours when it was in fact a whole 6 weeks. The doctor was incompetent had no clue and did not even look at me once when assessing my condition. Everything she wrote was the opposite of what I said!!!! I rang new law and no help at all. I will definitely be taking my claim elsewhere and will be taking matters further. If you want your mental health to stay intact, steer clear of this pathetic company.

AVOID ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING COMPANY!!!!!! avoid like the plague, my claim from 3 years ago just seems to be going around in circles I'm sick of phoning for an update to be told my case needs a managers review, waiting months for a review is beyond a joke and the call centre staff are clueless, I feel really let by down NewLaw and will never use them again.

HORRENDOUS COMPANY!!!! No acknowledgment of my complaint even after 4 weeks. Terrible handling of my claim, my insurance company have severed links with this business due to their appalling service. Staff were very rude on the phone, never a manager there to speak to. AVOID!

Absolutely shocking experience.......been waiting nearly 4 years for the final payout of a probate. The probate was granted 8 months after we contacted them to work on our behalf yet they never told us, I had to go and look online for myself on the government website. Cannot get hold of anyone, they never return your calls or emails.
They have been holding 50,000.00 pounds for nearly 4 years.
We sold our mothers house but channelled the funds directly to the beneficiaries as we didn´t trust them...numerous problems.....lost files and documents....resending documents numerous times etc etc.
Excuse after excuse. Good job we did as they would have been holding 675,000.00 pounds as well for four years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have not been told the company has been split into different departments and we certainly were not told about the cyber attack on the company.

Awful experience. 9 months later.. I’ve had 0 updates from the company. The portal reads, they’re in negotiations, and have been for months. Upon calling, they haven’t even sent off the evidence that i sent in 9 months ago! I’ve had to call every month to push the claim. I’m told different things each phone call. Nothing any more helpful than the first. The most chatter I got was when they were confirming how much they will take off the top!!

One year later with no updates or any communication. Also failed to notify me of a security breach which is blatant malpractice. Avoid at all costs.
