I thought I’d try one of their conditioner’s from Target, while showering and rubbing my hands together I felt a cut, I rinsed my hands not knowing what it was from and squeezed the conditioner again rubbed my hands and cut my other finger - what happened was the bottle when designed or cut in production retained the plastic because their were shards in my bottle - Target had Native or Procter and Gamble reach out to me and they asked for the bottle to view, which I happily sent along with images of the shards and cuts on my fingers. The company I will NEVER use again - not offering anything other than $10 off your next purchase - they left a cheap and bad taste in my mouth and I’ll never recommend that company or give them my money ever again. The lady I was emailing with says, “ we don’t compensate, but if you have medical bills I can send you a link.” It’s a shame some companies don’t take pride in their customers - I wish our world was filled with small businesses who cherish their clients. Native lost a customer.
Product yes. Pump/ability to get product- Terrible
Dispenser doesn't dispense. Can't get anything out of the 'press dispenser. Twisted it. Again. Again. Swore. Swore Again. Transferred to smaller 'press to dispense' container. Def an issue. Send me 2 working dispenser bottles.
Dries out your skin
I was looking for a clean, natural brand and I found Native.
First I bought the body wash and after just two uses my skin became so incredibly dry and uncomfortable. I was ashy, my skin felt dry and taut, it was itchy and uncomfortable. No amount of lotion or body butters helped counteract the dryness. As soon as I switched back to Aveeno my skin felt so much better.
Then, for some reason, I decided to try Natives shampoo and conditioner. After two washes I started to notice my hair felt dryer, my ends started splitting and I was getting dry itchy scalp and had dandruff. I went two months using this product to wash and condition my hair and it started shedding more than normal, the ends splitting more, my hair felt limp, and the dry scalp issues and dandruff began to get worse and spread to my hairline. As soon as I switched to another brand, after the second wash with new brand, my hair and scalp feel so much better. A month later and my dandruff is gone, my hair is looking alive again and is so much softer. Native is a horrible brand. I’m so disappointed
Another customer with defective pumps
Another customer with defective pumps. I purchased from one store and was unable to release the pump so I had to return it. I stopped at a different store a week later to find all of the native bottles I was interested in to be defective as well. So frustrating. Searching for a replacement brand.
The pumps on your products do not work
The pumps on your products do not work. Since using Native products, I have had to transfer the product into other containers that I had to purchase. Once this round of Native products are finished, I will no longer purchase any more. The review captures May 18, 2025, but it has been an ongoing problem since last year.

I recently purchased NATIVE HAIR CARE,this product is so fantastic on my hair. I washed my hair with this shampoo, it uhdetangled my hair and left it silky. Then I conditioned it and WOW what an experience, just silky hair. I dry my hair and flatiron it. I could feel the silliness. Every hair strand was lite to the touch. I LOVE this product. My first time trying it, I don't want to use anything else. I have a healthy app, it rated this product EXCELLENT.
Very sketchie business practices
Ordered from Native. Received defective product. Requested a credit or replacement. 5 weeks later and no credit or replacement.
Native doesnt care
Ive been a customer for years but the products are not the same.only a couple deodorant stick scents still actually work and the sprays are a complete rippoff. They stop spraying halfway through the can then only squirt product No matter how many complaints they receive they refuse to correct this issue. A responsible company would fix this but a couple years later they are still selling the same defective crap.time to shop elsewhere.
Native native
I’ve been a Native customer for years . I started using it then my kids caught the scents and have also been using for about two years . I love everything about it except for one consistent flaw- many of my aerosol sprays lose their spraying power , so I’m just left with about 1/3 of product and no way to spray it out of the can. It’s been consistent since my very first use but I’m still committed , just hoping that can be corrected as the product isn’t cheap - it’s a fine price for a good product but I don’t like losing money on a product .
Stick with the lotions and leave the soaps.
I must admit that Native has some of the best fragrances on the market today. Their lotions are good, and they maintain a decent moisture barrier without leaving a greasy feeling to the skin. My problem with the brand becomes apparent when evaluating Native’s soaps for face and body. The emulsifiers in their soaps and cleansers are sub-par at best, and more soap must be used in order to maintain an adequate level to cleanse the skin properly without having to either add more soap or chance irritating the skin from over scrubbing.
Buyer beware. They don’t ship and refuse to refund.
I placed an order on 21 November 2024 for $240. They have not sent the order, refuse to cancel and refund and are not responding at all. Be very careful dealing with this company.
Will this company respond
Will this company respond? With full faith in the green product, I ordered through the company the Unscented facial cleanser. After 3 days of use, my face feels like the moisture has been sucked out. The worst cleanser I have ever used. When I wrote a bad review, their response was that they "were not able to respond to feedback".
Beware…
My daughter wanted to try native products. I was Leary of letting her. After her shower she immediately broke out in a blister type rash all over. I wish there was a upload for pictures I'd be posting them. Who knows how much the hospital bill is going to be.
Unable to activate pump mechanism…
Unable to activate pump mechanism without looking it up on computer when you are in the shower is annoying to say the least. What if one doesn't even have a computer? Thoughtless!
New favourite deodorant brand
I came across Native when looking for a plastic-free deodorant in the US, and I absolutely fell in love with the brand. I love the big selection of scents, especially that there are not only sweet fruity and flowery but also several fresh and herbal scents.
Maybe it’s because I had been using natural deodorants for years before, but I had no issues switching to Native. In fact, this is one of the longest-lasting deodorants I’ve had in a years. I especially love how long the scent lasts; it almost doubled as perfume. (Don’t buy this deodorant if you prefer yours to smell neutral though.)
I wish Native shipped to Europe; I’d definitely be a regular customer.
Years Long Customer, No More
I have bought from this company for years but after my latest experience, I will be looking for a new company to purchase body care from.
My package was delivered to the incorrect address, clearly shown in the delivery photo sent by FedEx. I submitted the missing package claim with FedEx, but was told to reach back out to Native about not receiving the product.
They completely disregarded my message showing the photographic evidence and explanation, telling me to wait 2 days in case it was "accidentally marked as delivered"...despite sending them a photo of a package with their logo and my name on it at someone else's door, as well as a photo of my own front door, showing the discrepancy.
Only after pointing out that this made no sense, she offered to resend my products, but after their blatant lack of attention, I do not trust them nor Fedex to do their jobs efficiently. I told them this, and they said that all they can do is reship....so this can happen again? I don't think so.
If you want cheap, natural skincare look for an alternative on Amazon. Not this company who sits on your money, whether you get the products or not.

So don’t be tricked by all the ads it’s smells good but I don’t smell good after even Bath and Bodyworks makes me smell good after, But I still stink and I’m a freaking nine year old so if it doesn’t work on me, it won’t work for People unless you don’t sweat
Very poor service
Just been in this place. The sign clearly says happy hour 2 for 1 Sunday 12-7. Until you have ordered them, then they point out it is for cocktails. No mention of this but say it is in the terms and conditions, which are no where to be found. Shocking service, rude and chancers, avoid at any cost !!!!!
I have been using Native for 9 months
I have been using Native for 9 months. My hair is falling out and thinner than it has ever been. It is dry and just falling out. I look at reviews and see many using the native shampoo and conditioner are having the same results. Also my son uses native toothpaste and his teeth fell apart too. Terrible product!!!!!! Stay away from this product!!
