Replacement parts
I have been trying to replace the solar roof top for a bird buddy feeder since May2026 as a squirrel chewed through the roof and the USB cable. When I inquired about when they would be in stock -I was given a link to be put on a waitlist which I had no idea about a waitlist. I would think on the accessory page when they show out of stock some sort of link or reference should be listed so a person would sign the waitlist right then. Also my next suggestion to the manufacturer is where the USB cable connects to the roof you should be able to open it and replace the USB cable, as it stands I would have to splice the new USB cable to a piece of the old one. I love my feeder but I would not recommend customers to buy it - when it takes forever to get the replacement part. I would like to be able to see the birds at my feeder as it was intended for me to do.
I apologize for this review but I just wanted customers to be aware of the parts issue - as this feeder costs a lot of money .

I got a message telling me that my service request was going to be canceled if I didn’t submit my proper serial number, which I had already submitted but I misread the tiny print and had left out one zero in a row of nine zeros, they knew the serial number because they were able to tell me that mine was incorrect. Very annoying because I was at my brother in law’s bedside at a hospital four from home and had no way to submit a photo as they requested !

My bird buddy was a gift from my husband. I love bird watching. When my Birdbuddy was not working properly I got in touch with the company and they resolved the issue right away. Troubleshooting didn’t work so they sent me a replacement. Super happy about that.

Amazing Company Truly Cares about Their customer and product
I had my bird buddy feeder for over a year and when it fell because of strong winds, the back see-through plastic plate cracked and the feeder would no longer hold seed. I reached out to see if I could order another one and this amazing company simply sent me another one for no charge. Not even shipping and even after the purchase was over a year old. I was really impressed and couldn't believe companies like this still existed. I am now a long term customer. Thanks Bird Buddy
