Went from Birmingham to Derby to pick my Audi up was greeted asked to wait little long but a customer service manager Debbie Reid was outstanding in her job she made the experienced easy very helpful very nice lady would buy from Derby again and travel from Birmingham to Derby again for that customer service

At the end of March we happened upon our 11 month old Peugeot E3008 on the forecourt of Motorpoint Derby when browsing for ideas. There was no information on the vehicle as apparently the previous sale had fallen through, so we relied solely on the information provided by the sales representative. We asked if there were any issues or previous accidents, were told no and trusted this.
At the very end of the transaction we were told that there was only one key, which was very disappointing given that the car was only 11 months old, were told there was no negotiation on price and the best thing to do was to pretend to our insurance that we had dropped the other key down the drain and get another one. My husband and I were both a party to that conversation but Motorpoint are denying that ever happened.
Given that they were adamant they could not alter the price to account for the key, something we have later found they should have done, we still thought as the car was otherwise in good condition we would proceed. We were told that we could go back to Motorpoint if there were any problems at all and were also assured that we also had the Peugeot warranty.
As soon as we had taken possession of the vehicle it became obvious there were a few defects. The one key we had been provided with didn't always work and the rear brake light was loose. Motorpoint, without even looking referred us to Peugeot.
The key, we have found, appears damaged through misuse and also there is impact damage underneath the car which has caused the loose brake light. Neither covered by the Peugeot warranty.
We are facing a bill of over £1000.
4 months on it continues.
Motorpoint aftersales have been absolutely diabolical. Despite their promises when we purchased the vehicle, they have been completely unhelpful, dismissive, rude and in every way utterly disinterested. After many complaints they have just dismissed us and have also stopped replying to Peugeot who are trying to get the issue sorted.
I even copied the CEO of Motorpoint into my last email and I didn't even receive a courtesy response from his office saying that someone will be dealing with it.
They absolutely couldn't care less and are a complete disgrace to the motor industry. I'm now having to take this to an alternative dispute resolution as they are not covered by the Motoring Ombudsman. No surprise there!
We assume they are hoping we will give up, but we will not!!!

Buying a car was made very easy.
Also had plenty of petrol when leaving which was a huge bonus.
No hard sales.

Overall great but can do better with customer service. Had an issue where my payment was not reflecting on their account and I was passed to so many different people any none of them were actually helping. Overall the derby staff 10/10 with their service. Bailey and Taylor in the derby store were great.
