Bad Service, Periods of Silence and Refusal to Accept Responsibility.

I paid £ 142, 500 for a Motorhome from Alex Bell the Franchisee for the Woking Area.

I paid the Full Amount 3 days before Collection.
Part of the Deal Was a Full Professional Valet Inside and Out, Including the Roof.

We Travelled 200 Miles by Train to Collect it on the Sunday, On Inspection Inside Cupboards, Fridge and Shower Tray had Not Even been Attempted, The Roof which was My Main Insistence Had Not Been Touched Either.

Alex had Emailed me 2 days before Confirming the Vehicle Was Spotless Inside and Out!!

We were Forced to Accept the Vehicle as it was Or Face trying to Get Train Home.

Alex had Previously Praised his Valeter Saying they Regularly Detail Super Cars.

He has Made a Token Offer of a Small Refund, but nowhere near the amount to make up for the Time Taken to Try and Get Him to Respond to Emails and take Calls.

I am Trying to get Resolution through Motorhome Depot as He is Refusing to Admit that the Vehicle was NOT as he Described it.

It is Regrettable that I have had such Bad Service
Especially as i have Dealt with Motorhome Depot Locally and had Completely the Opposite Experience.

I really Hope Motorhome Depot Can step in and I will be in a Position to Post a Positive Outcome.

This is the third time we have used Motorhome Depot to sell our motorhomes. Tara Knowles sold our last two motorhome's. Took all the hassle from us, top photos and videos of the motorhome you are selling. She met the buyers and showed them around the vehicle while we sat in our home. Sorted all the paperwork out for the sale eg: DVLA (tax), ownership papers, money transfers etc. Best way to sell our motorhome/caravan. Your vehicle stay at your own property until the sale is completed. Thanks again Tara will recommend you to other potentail buyers/sellers. Score 10/10

Just bought a lovely campervan/motorhome from Tara at Motorhome Depot Mansfield. She could not have been more helpful or efficient. Fantastic service - she even inflated the tyres for us before we left to drive it home. Above and beyond what she needed to do. Thoroughly recommended. After searching for the right motorhome and our 1st we looked at a motorhome depot in Birmingham and was looked after by Joe. No pushy sales going on and answered all our questions we needed. Handover was by Paul & Liz who was very friendly and talked us through the purchase with ease. They helped us get aircon fitted before picking up our motorhome saving us having to do it ourselves and waited a short time whilst i recovered from an operation. I had been looking for my first van for a couple of months. Found the usual dealers uninterested. Decided to buy privately and was directed via Autotrader to Motorhome Depot. Local Brokers who take care of everything. Having identified a great one, I contacted the broker Chris Gage ( NE) . From start to finish the service he provided was outstanding . Knowledgeable, approachable and thoroughly helpful dealing with all aspects of viewing , test drive , equipment demonstrations and dealing with the vendor who was also great.
I don’t generally leave reviews but this company was great.

I would recommend this company especially their agent John Dunn to anyone wanting to sell their motorhome. John was such a help when we were experiencing a difficult time in life.

The experience I had was very delightful, professional, helpful, friendly and very very constructive. It sure was a pleasure dealing with them. Kept me informed all the way through till my Swift Kon-tiki was purchased would highly recommend there service to anyone and everyone, could not praise them enough from the very begining till when all monies was paid very swiftly into my bank account. Can’t fault the service provided by Alan Myers-Jow regarding the purchase of our first motorhome. Very friendly and approachable with no questions left unanswered, if he didn’t know the answer he would find out for us.

Excellent service - I spoke with Jason Bingham from Motorhome Depot a number of times and discussed the various options to sell our motorhome, he was extremely helpful and there was no pressure either way, we decided to go with the cash purchase option, Simon and Dominic from Habcheck were lovely, very professional and knowledgeable, and after inspection Jason transferred the funds and the vehicle was driven away, no fuss, very professional, highly recommended.

Contacted Motorhome Depot to get a valuation on my parents' motorhome. They quoted a target Sale or Return (SOR) price of £13,000–£14,000, When its actually been valued at £23,000 elsewhere. Then offered an instant cash buyout of just £8,000. That is a £5,000 to £6,000 drop—roughly a 40% reduction off their own low ball market value. While instant cash options always carry a discount for convenience, lowballing by that amount is unreasonable. Get an independent valuation before taking a cash offer here.

Outstanding, every aspect of selling our van, Paul and Shelly visited us and explained everything, and if I had an issue it was dealt with in a calm manner. We sold the Van very quickly. A happy buyer and seller. The whole process was faultless. (Highly Recommeded).
