Exorbitant Shipping Fees
Moscot might make terrific eyewear, but their customer loyalty is much to be desired.
Moscot charged a $40 USD/$54 CAD shipping fee to send to Canada a replacement pair of Brandon temples. For that fee I would expect express shipping, 2-days, and it's been over two-weeks and still crickets.

Vendere è facile, risolvere problemi difficile. Ho comprato un paio di Moscot Lemtosh che purtroppo mi stanno larghi. Scrivo al servizio clienti moscot e mi dicono che si possono applicare dei naselli di metallo. Nella mail inseriscono il link ai negozi a cui mi posso rivolgere. Chiamo il negozio di Milano e mi dice che non si può fare. Mi dicono anche di inviare loro la mail di risposta di Moscot e che se ne occuperanno. A oggi non ho ancora ricevuto risposta né dalla sede centrale né dal negozio di Milano, questo significa che sono solo un punto vendita e non un centro di assistenza come invece dovrebbe essere un negozio di ottica, soprattutto per occhiali che costano oltre €300.
These glasses are very uncomfortable, cuts into my nose
These glasses are very uncomfortable and has given my nose deep red marks that have scabbed over. The plastic arms have also snapped slightly, exposing the metal skeleton within the acetate. Kicking myself for spending £700 as they really aren’t worth it for the quality. There is a slight rough edge on the top of the bridge due to the acetate not being finished properly. The rest of the frame is smooth. I’m sure there are much better frames from other manufacturers at much cheaper prices. Faux rivets are painted on and have no function. I ordered tortoise but they don’t look like the pictures. My frames look much lighter, more like the the classic Havana colour. The only positive aspect is the lenses. They’re great quality.
Update: I contacted support at Moscot yesterday with the requested details and am still waiting for a response from them.
Second update: Krista, someone from Moscot emailed me and asked me to send the frames back for a replacement. A DHL label was sent to me via email which Moscot paid for. However I needed a tracking number to provide DHL in order to book a collection as there aren’t any drop off services close to my area. I’ve been waiting for a reply for two days. Absolutely awful service.
I have just bought a pair of the same style frames from a company called Julius Tart. Model AR. (See my photo) The frames are far superior in quality, handmade in Japan and the Demi amber colour is beautiful. I’ve thrown my Lemtosh in the bin and won’t have a replacement. Moscot to me is a company with exceptional gimmicky family marketing but no substance at all and charge a premium from frames made in China. Don’t waste your money with them and go to my recommendation.

Great customer service. Went in to King’s Road branch to get my glasses fixed. Very pleasant, very helpful, very patient service. Made sure that my glasses looked and felt right. I am very grateful.

Great brand, great service, great employees
I don't understand all the comments about not getting any replies from the Moscot team when problems arise.
For any problems before and after my order, I got help from the employees Shanta and Alessandra.
It is clearly stated on the website that you have to pay the shipping costs for a return.
However, it would certainly be great if you
could see cleary on the website that the products are shipped from USA.
Regarding the quality of Moscot glasses, it should be mentioned that I have been wearing different models for 12 years and have never had any problems.
In general, I am very satisfied with Moscot's service.

Avoid at all costs. They do not process refunds
I returned a pair of glasses frames to Moscot (it cost me £20 return fee!!) and they arrived over two weeks ago, but I’ve still not received my refund. I have messaged their support team over and over again but nobody replies. I’m shocked that a company of this size is treating customers this way. My order number is F271922.

Don't order when you are from Europe
Ordered sunglasses from the website from Moscot. They were shipped from the US to Europe. The sunglasses didn't fit as mentioned on their website. 1 model was too small and the other too big. So I returned both glasses. It is important to know that you have to ship it back to the US for customers from Europe and you have to pay for the label by yourself, which roughly costs 30 euros with UPS.
The next thing that happened is that UPS lost my package and Moscot's policy is that they are not responsible for the return. I understand that, but nowhere does it say that it is such a cumbersome process and that you have to pay at least EUR 30 to return your product. Nor does it say anywhere that it is so risky to return from Europe to the US. I find it extremely inconvenient that they do not have a warehouse in Europe or that you cant just return it to a local shop.
If you are from Europe, make sure you are 100% sure of your purchase or just buy it in their shop. Returning via the website is strongly discouraged.
I am extremely disappointed and I am sick of losing more than 630 EUR.

UPS paid 108 EUR for my claim of the in total 630 EUR. What a **** show at Moscot. Extremely dissapointed. End Result: No Glasses, No Money. Thanks for nothing.

Never again - how do they stay in business?
I purchased two pair of glasses that cost me around $600. Genug broke in less than a month because I was exercising, and it fell off of my face. I am in disbelief of how low the quality was. I shop with multiple stores like Warby Parker and Glasses USA and this has never happened before. Not to mention, Moscot customer service is trash and cannot even be compared to Warby Parker. I knew I should have listened to my family when they told me to stick to Warby Parker. Expensive DOES NOT mean great which I fooled myself believing. When contacted the customer rep, Angelica told me that since I installed lens somewhere else the 1 year warranty is void. But this has nothing to do with the lens. My frame broke around the nose bridge in half! Instead, I was offered that they would fix the glasses for free, but I need to pay for shipping and sign a waiver form saying that they’re not responsible for any frame / lens that may damage during the process. Now I’m thinking why in the world do I bother fixing it if this is type of service that I’m receiving after spending $600. Listen folks, let me do you all a favor if you wear glasses all the time like me and you want quality service and product - just stick to Warby Parker. I cannot believe I wasted my hard earn money on this piece of garbage. This is the price that I had to pay for buying from a random site.

Excellent Quality Glasses with Out of Control Business Scale
Pro:
They are a legit company who will ship your high quality product with absolute care. If you know your right size of glasses and made the right order, you will absolutely love your purchase.
Con:
1) Their glasses are made in china and they kind of try to brand themselves as family owned local NYC store. You have to realize that it would be impossible at this scale of branding. Though they will make sure to give you the upmost quality of glasses, no doubt about it. So it’s not a big problem.
2) Their customer service won’t send you the pictures of clip-ons paired with your preference of glasses. You just have to make the purchase and hope that the clipons are going to look good. It looks contradictory to me that they claim to be this cozy family company yet their customer service don’t even have access to the actual glasses to provide the customer with pictures? Good thing I know where to find the 10 times cheaper knockoff versions. I’m not wasting my money on clipons dubious if they’re going to look good on my glasses.

I bought a pairs of eye glasses and ordered a pairs of lemtosh blue tint in the covent garden shop in london and i was deeply disappointed in the way they treat customers.
They were suppose to receive my lemtosh blue tint on Friday morning as i paid extra for expresse service before lunch and they kept calling to let me know when they arrive.
However they called last minute to tell me that they didn’t receive them and that it was the delivery’s fault.
I find that not worthy of Moscot nor that it is professional .
More over i need a compensation for the time they made me wait and the fact that they substantially lack respect for customer that pay considerable amount for your product.
Therefore i ask for compensation for the time waisted and the lack of professionalism from the shop manager of Moscot Covent garden in London.

Perfect sunglasses, one complaint
I bought a pair of sunglasses but it was too small so i returned it and i bought a new one (larger). I loved it.The shipping time for Europe was around 12days which is really fast(dhl express) Customer service, specifically Alessandra, helped me a lot. The refund was made 2 days after they recieved the sunglasses, so it was really quick. The only complaint i have is that i wanted to buy another one custom tint lemtosh, this time in brown colour but because the brown custom lemtosh is not listed in the website(only black,tortoise and one more are listed as customs lemtosh) they told me that they would need to take the payment over the phone. I prefer paypal and also the phone calls from Europe to Us are overpriced. Anyway the experience and the communication was really good, the sunglasses perfect. I hope they will list the brown custom tint as well so i can buy another pair!

Big scam don't waste your money
Avoid big scam.
I still haven't received my package it's been weeks. No access to corresponding with them. Their Instagram page seems promising but it's a big lie. Eveytime I commented to seek for help in the comment section I'd come back later to find my comment deleted. Avoid them look elsewhere.

Here is a follow up to my review about the Hitsik sunglasses. After I was offered a discount for my bad experience, I decided to give Moscot another chance and ordered the Genug sunglasses in black. To my disappointment, they arrived with scratches on the arms as well. After contemplating whether or not to keep the glasses, as they were discounted, I just decided to return them. They are still expensive even at the discounted price and I feel I should be receiving a flawless pair of sunglasses for 200$+. So if I can give any advice, be wary when buying black glasses from Moscot online as I have now received 3 pairs that had scratches on the arms. I have purchased sunglasses from other name brands for less that arrived flawless. Most of those were made in Italy by the way and it would appear that their quality control is much better.
Reply to Moscot 9/23/21:
Appreciate the offer of an additional discount but I just initiated the return. In addition to the scratches the sunglasses also have a chemical smell to them that I’m (unfortunately) all too familiar with from the Zayde sunglasses I ordered a year or two ago. I’m not willing to go through that again even for a discount.

Dopo l'utilizzo di soli 3-4 mesi le lenti sono totalmente graffiate (lenti pulite solo con il panno fornito da loro) e hanno perso tutto il trattamento antigraffio, contattato il loro supporto mi hanno risposto che sono affari miei, pessimi veramente pessimi

This is a company built mainly on hype…
This is a company built mainly on the fact Mr Depp wears them. I expect to get a reply from Moscot saying they cannot identify me as a customer which seems the stock response to any complaint with the inference the poor review is a fiction! The bridge on my glasses has broken on two occasions. On the first occasion, my optician managed to repair it. These glasses are not made in the US but in China and the quality is not in any way commensurate with the high price. Why masquerade as a NY artisan maker when your product is mass-produced in some Chinese factory?
