Fan de Moscot

J'ai 2 paires de lunettes de vue Moscot (achetées chez mon opticien à Paris, l'une il y a 2 ans et l'autre il y a quelques mois) et j'en suis ravie (le choix de modèles et de couleurs est impressionnant). Sur le site de Moscot, j'ai également acheté l'année dernière et récemment une paire de lunettes de soleil, 2 paires de clips et des étuis, produits reçus à Paris une semaine après la commande et très satisfaite du look et de la qualité. Enfin, j'ai acheté une autre paire de clips hier dans la boutique du Marais, vendeur très sympathique et de bon conseil.

Moscot Lemtosh… juste à joke

I ordered a pair of Moscot Lemtosh sunglasses from the brand’s official website. According to the tracking information, they were supposedly shipped from a warehouse in the New York area. That narrative sounds nice, but the reality is far less glamorous: the glasses themselves are manufactured in China.

When they arrived, the first disappointment was the quality. For a brand that positions itself as a heritage New York eyewear house and charges premium prices, the build quality is frankly very basic. I have handled counterfeit pairs that honestly felt more solid.

The second issue is transparency. I asked customer service for a simple certificate of authenticity. The answer I received was that they do not provide one because it would not be “ecological.” That explanation would be easier to believe if the package had not already included a tote bag, a postcard, and several pieces of marketing material .. all completely unnecessary. Apparently, shipping promotional paper across the world is ecological, but a small document confirming authenticity is not.

So the product itself feels average, the pricing is premium, and the customer service hides behind marketing language instead of providing clear proof of authenticity.

For a brand that heavily trades on its New York heritage and reputation, this experience felt more like clever storytelling than genuine quality..

Case came apart at the seams

I'm trying to be fair here as I do love my frames. But I was so frustrated by their customer service that I had to leave a review. After less than a year of light use, my Moscot case came apart at the seams. Contacted customer service who would only offer 10% off my next case. Paying 90% of the RRP again to replace a poorly manufactured product is not my idea of good service.

Premium quality + perfect fit

I ordered the MOSCOT SHTUP with their Premier high-index lenses and I’m honestly really happy with how everything turned out. Shipping was fast — they showed up the next week and even arrived a day earlier than expected.

Right out of the box, the glasses felt super premium. The frame has that solid, high-end feel, and the lenses look and feel like real quality (clear, crisp, and just well-made). Best part: the fit was spot on immediately — no adjustments needed, which never happens for me.

This is definitely the most I’ve ever spent on glasses, but I went for it because I love the SHTUP design. It reminds me a lot of the Moscot x Saturdays NYC “Tomo” collaboration sunglasses, which I’ve always liked. Overall, the experience and the final product totally lived up to the price.

Egregi, vi ringrazio per la risposta, ma state continuando a fare solo becere figure ed a questo punto la mia domanda è la seguente:
Ma voi ci siete oppure ci fate!
1) Al momento dell’acquisto nessuno mi ha comunicato le vs regole su eventuali cambi e dal momento che ho precisato che doveva essere un regalo di Natale se mi avessero informato non sarei stato così stupido da perfezionare l’acquisto.
2) Subito dopo le feste quando mi sono recato in negozio per il cambio uno dei 2 commessi ha verificato sul computer e mi ha espressamente detto che il sistema permetteva il cambio, l’altro commesso invece si rifiutava categoricamente dicendo che avrebbero dovuto avere l’autorizzazione, nonostante questo il commesso acconsenziente ha insistito con il suo collega affinché potessero accontentare la mia richiesta (forse proprio in considerazione del fatto che aveva valutato la loro mancanza di non avermi comunicato precedentemente le regole di cambio) ma anche in quella occasione l’altro si rifiutava di effettuare il cambio.
3) Sono uscito dal negozio con l’accordo che il giorno seguente mi avrebbero dato una risposta, invece dopo 4 giorni ho dovuto richiamare io per apprendere che la mia richiesta era stata declinata!
Considerando quanto sopra, visto che vantate di essere un’azienda storica non vi sembra che con questi personaggi che vi rappresentano siete caduti davvero in basso?
La nostra famiglia per quanto successo non acquisterà mai più un occhiale Moscot….. pertanto cari signori per acquisire un cliente ci vuole tempo fortuna e professionalità ma per perderlo bastano 5 minuti di scarsa competenza di collaboratori che si vestono da eroi ma che probabilmente domattina non ci saranno più! Nel frattempo vi hanno sputtanato alla grande…..

Glasses arrived with fallen out lens

We ordered the Shtarker Gold. They already came in the box with one of the lenses fallen out. We were able to put it back, but it doesn't feel tight and the frames are not 100% aligned. For the price of $380 without tax and shipping it is not what we've expected.

Tutto sommato soddisfatto

Ho acquistato un paio di occhiali da sole il 30/12, sono arrivati da New York in un lampo, il 5/1 erano già qui!!

Occhiali in linea con le aspettative, piccoli gadget ricevuti in omaggio a sorpresa molto graditi.

Taglie da spiegare meglio, la montatura é più piccola di quanto previsto.

Spero di poter confermare la qualità del prodotto nei prossimi mesi con l'utilizzo.

Really happy with the whole experience and end products.

About a month ago Dave and the team at Marylebone High St sorted me out with a fine pair of reading glasses. I’ve worn glasses for years but these were the first pair I’ve had that I felt complemented my face rather than just appearing as a stale yet functional addition.
I can see why several of the reviews I’ve read for Moscot glasses say they’ve multiple pairs as earlier today I picked up another pair of glasses from the Marylebone store - this time to use whilst driving. Once again the level of service was professional and yet at the same time friendly. I only ordered the new pair of glasses a few days ago and yet I received a text yesterday to say they were ready to be picked up.
The Moscot ranges of glasses on offer are, in my opinion, stylish without appearing to try too hard. They fit really well and are extremely comfortable. I’d certainly recommend going there.

DELUSIONE enorme da un brand che mi piace. Sto ancora aspettando che mi consegnino degli occhiali che dovevano arrivare ormai 5 giorni fa. Nessuna spiegazione, solo uno scaricabarile sul corriere, pessimo pure lui, DHL.

Terrible experience...a shame for a globally recognised brand.

Terrible experience from a so-called reputable, luxury brand with a less-than-robust returns process. I should have checked Trustpilot before ordering.

Positive note, my previous purchase of Lemtosh glasses and quality of product overall is great, however don't bother with their lenses as they scratch and coatings are poor. I'd opt to get lenses fitted from elsewhere...

Purchased 6 pairs of glasses to try at home (~£2k) and kept one pair. Initiated a returns process through Moscot, parcel sat in the postal depot in New York for two weeks and never collected. Apparently being 'returned to shipper and on hold' and Moscot have been investigating with another department for weeks.

Martina at Moscot has done her best with the situation and is always courteous to deal with, however I have initiated a chargeback with my bank as no one can tell me where the parcel has gone and I'm now waiting on a refund of nearly £2k.

Polarized cliptosh deteriorates immediately

Bought a pair of cliptosh with polarized glass 2 years ago. a month later the glasses started to show spots that the polaized filter was deteriorating. I got them changed after a tough battle. Now 1 year later, the same has happened. I contact them and they dont want to give me a solution. It is clear that this is a manufactoring mistake that makes the filter deteriotate soon. People should know that if they buy polarized from Moscot it will start deteriorating any time.
Dont buy it!!

Scratched, poor quality, plastic feeling

I recently purchased a pair of your eyeglasses for €315 order 264306, and I would like to share some concerns regarding the product I received.

On your website, the frames are described as being made of Italian acetate, which I expected to reflect a certain level of quality. However, the pair I received feels quite plastic-like and does not match the quality I would associate with Italian acetate, especially as an Italian myself. Additionally, the frames are marked “Made in China,” which was unexpected given the description.

The most serious issue, however, is that the front of the frame has a noticeable scratch. Considering the price I paid, this is quite disappointing.

Nice glasses but for Gods sake don’t give them your email address. Signed up for 10% off and, I kid you not, over a two week period I received 17 emails from them! Every day some offer, event or other whizz bang bit of “news” , absolutely drove me bananas!
Deactivated the email account to escape.

A couple of years ago I returned a faulty pair of £500 glasses and never received a refund. This experience still haunts me - will never shop at Moscot again.

Pessima qualità e pessimo servizio clienti

Acquistato un occhiale da sole Moscot ad un prezzo da fascia alta. così come successo anche ad un mio amico le aste nella parte esterna si sono in parte scolorite all'esterno, quindi non per il sudore come capitato ad altri. sentito il servizio clienti mi è stato risposto che probabilmente è stata l'esposizione al sole....non sapevo di aver acquistato un occhiale "da interno" e non da sole !!
ma che giustificazione è ?
mi è stata proposta la sostituzione delle aste alla cifra "di favore" di 110 eur, dopo aver pagato l'occhiale 350 eur.
pessimo servizio clienti, non consiglio l'acquisto e questo sarà il mio ultimo moscot.

p.s. nemmeno si scomodano a rispondere o a giustificare il loro operato come qualunque azienda SERIA farebbe.....

I never write reviews

I never write reviews, but this experience was so frustrating that I have no choice. I ordered glasses with next day air on Monday evening because I absolutely needed them by Friday for an event. I even gave them a buffer and emailed on Wednesday just to be sure. They told me, yes, you’ll get them by Friday evening.

Well, Friday came, and the label was only created that day. That’s not a delay, that’s flat out misleading. I paid extra for expedited shipping, I double-checked mid-week, and still got strung along with false reassurance. By the time I actually needed them, nothing had arrived.

This wasn’t just poor service — it was a total lack of communication and honesty. If you’re thinking about ordering from here and timing matters, don’t count on them.
