Their meter reader let himself into my flat while I was visiting a neighbour, moved things aside to get at the meter cupboard, let himself into the meter cupboard where I keep some precious things, covered his tracks and left.
It has taken me several weeks to ascertain this. At first MDS said that the meter reader must have assigned the data to a different address. Then the operations manager at E.ON Next stated that he had been in touch with them, which was a lie. MDS refused to answer a further email from me seeking clarification.
I am a disabled pensioner recovering from surgery. God help the meter reader if he tries it on again.

We have been trying for MONTHS and MONTHS to get our meter read,and each time that someone calls round from Morrison Data Services,they take a look at the meter, which is positioned far too high for any of us to take a reading from, as all 3 of us at home are under 5’4”,and MDS make absolutely NO attempt whatsoever to take a reading themselves, erm HELLO!!!! That’s your JOB isn’t it????, we have steps that they can use and torches,but all they do is say that WE will have to contact our supplier,which we do every time,and we’re going round and round in circles with our supplier saying they need readings and us saying the same thing over and over again, WE CANNOT DO IT ourselves. To top it all, just yesterday while we were at home with the conservatory door open and us sat in the house with full view and ability to hear from where we were sat only a few feet away in our lounge, apparently someone from MDS turned up,but we had no idea they had until I wandered into the conservatory a while later and a card had been left for us saying they’d called and no one was in.The door was wide open!!! we were at home and they had made absolutely no attempt to knock,call out that they were there or even come into view in the conservatory,they must have just dropped the card in at the door and left. If I could give them a ZERO rating or less or I would!!!!

At last, someone who knew what they were doing and finally got my electric smart meter working again. It has been an issue since January!

Fingers crossed 🤞 the gas will start connecting in the next couple of days.

1. I haven't had a gas supply for a couple of years now.
2. I have repeatedly over that time received emails from 'Morrison Data Services' saying that British Gas (the supplier who removed my meter) need a meter reading.
3. I contacted BG about this and they said they knew nothing about this and had no connection with MDS.
4. Now I have had a card pushed through my door requiring me to phone a mobile phone number (07936 788 748) 'to avoid an estimated bill'. Just let them try to bill me!!
5. I have checked the company website and they have no means of contacting them other than an online form (no company phone number, no email address, etc).
6. I regard this behaviour to be HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS and (even though it is tempting to get them to have to clear away all the stuff in front of the meter cupboard, only to discover there is no meter!) they will not be getting through my door and I will not be phoning this suspicious mobile number (which has been reported on various online 'suspicious number' sites).

A young lad called Haider visited my house last week I missed him but left a card with a contact number. I called the number and asked if he can come back to take the readings very polite person he said he will be back in 5 mins as he was working down the road, he came back at the exact time he said he will come he spoke to me in a polite manner and had a smile on his face. God bless

Don’t understand why they need to take metre readings when I submit them monthly. The gentleman was polite enough but I just don’t understand the reason behind it. A little suspicious, fortunately the metres are in a shed outside, would be very reluctant to let them into my home.

Had someone from this 'company' knock at my door wanting to take a gas reading, I have smart meters all up todate digitally he said that the company's are giving out false info and they are not sent digital(hes the lier), told him I don't know who he is who the company is only my provider can read my meters and I would have an appointment for their call out, so to get off my property right now.

Rang my provider who staited to me they did NOT send anyone to check my meters and I am up todate with reading, they have asked for my ring doorbell video (which I have provided) this was clearly a scam to get into my house, this person didn't knock at my neighbours ether side who back smart meters and with the same provider, clearly an opportunist.

I have their card and the mobile under he is useing, creeply he had my first name somehow but thankfully not my last.

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE IN, SAY NO AND CALL YOUR PROVIDER!

Absolutely disgusting behaviour and service. They turn up unannounced at any time of day, raise court orders for “refusal to open the door” even though I have never been home during one of their visits. They left no correspondence to say they’d tried to visit nor made any effort to make an appointment to make sure I’m home.

On the third occasion they gained entry and installed a smart meter without my permission. I was on holiday at the time but luckily my dad saw them trying to gain access otherwise they would have broken in whilst I wasn’t home!!

Despite all of this, I am still getting unexpected knocks at the door for meter readings! What is the point in forcing somebody to have an automated meter when it doesn’t do what it says on the tin??? Sick to death of them

Got a visit from a rude lady who was persistently knocking on the door, my disabled children were at home with an elderly grandparent, tried to speak to her through my ring doorbell to let her know to call back, she ignored me, then decided to attempt to get a meter reading from the box that she could not open, went back to get tools, came back, damaged the box and my property, literally tried to take the box off the wall!!! She saw my daughter who is partially sighted and disabled through the blinds and tried to coerce her to open the door, she left my daughter petrified, absolutely disgusting, will be taking this further.

Our engineer Zara’s was really helpful and gave good advice on the issue and next steps.
