I bought halo lamp 3 months ago but never send it to me althought send it to many of infulencers for free. so I guess it's a some kind of scam and I highly recommend not to buy any of marchandises from the company. Please don't believe affiliate marketers who don't pay their own money and must praise the products just for their pocket money. And I also angry with staged reviews on this site. Don't cheat Moonside design!
Edit:Finally I got the product so I added one star.

Ordered the Halo lamp. They are advertising a 1 week shipping. Waited 3 months. Contacted support several times. It never arrived.

That's a scam. If you still wanna try it. Use Paypal.

I backed MoonSide’s MagLight project on Kickstarter in 2023, with an estimated delivery date by the end of that year. While I received a tracking number in November 2023, there were no further updates and minimal communication from the company despite multiple inquiries. Each response I received repeated the same vague explanation about “shipping issues.”

Eventually, I received my MagLight in November 2024—a full year late. Unfortunately, the unit was faulty and would not charge, rendering it completely unusable. I contacted MoonSide in December 2024, and after persistent follow-up, they agreed to send a replacement in January 2025. However, as of June 2025, I have still not received the replacement, despite numerous follow-ups and repeated empty promises. I’m not alone—many other backers on Kickstarter are still waiting for their MagLight units.

This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I cannot recommend MoonSide. Their handling of this campaign shows a serious lack of accountability and customer support. Proceed with caution or avoid entirely.

I previously ordered products via Indiegogo and my order was fulfilled without issue. Ordering directly from Moonside means that you are unlikely to ever see a product or receive a refund.

I ordered products on the 13th March and had not received anything by 15th of May when I contacted them, asking for either the order to be expedited or a full refund. On the 19th May I received a tracking number.

This number has not updated in 29 days. The only information for the tracking number provided is:

June - Contacted moonside. Informed them that chargeback would be taking place. Received the following message next day.

We wanted to inform you that your shipment is currently in transit and on its way to you. We sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this may have caused.

As a token of our appreciation for your patience and understanding, we’d like to offer you an additional 10% refund once your shipment has been delivered and signed for.

Opened case with bank. 4 days later received "temporary" refund.

15th July. Tracking information still not updated despite my "shipment" being in transit.

The delivery to Germany took about a week, but it was worth the wait! I love my Moonside lights.

Nothing but lies from this company. After many emails concerning my Halo Lamp and my Two Star Bulbs on when they will be shipping. Got lots of re-assurance email replies from Moonside but after placing my orders in February 2025 and now being June 8/2025 and still have nothing to show for the money that they billed my VISA Card for.

Do yourself a huge favour and stay away from these crooks. I will be submitting my issue with VISA but have very little hope in getting my money back or the products that I purchased from them in good faith.

The halo lamp is amazing, absolutely worth a lengthy wait and also having to hassle Moonside customer services to actually remember my pre-order from March and send it to me 🤪

I had originally given Moonside a one-star review here, after they failed to ship me my Neon Crystal Cube within the time expected or give me updated tracking information.

I actually had PayPal refund my money.

Then, to my amazement, the package just arrived -- about two months after my order. I have asked the company to recharge my purchase price since they did, finally, deliver.

The Neon Crystal Cube is beautiful and lives up to its billing.

So I give Moonside a thumbs-up, but beware that shipment from their Chinese facilities can take months...

Moonside is a scam. I didn't receive the product, and there are many buyers in the same situation. They only give generic answers with no solutions.

The customer service was fantastic! They sent setup videos beforehand. Once the lights arrived, they were easy to install, the app is simple to navigate, and the colors look lovely.

Setup was a breeze, and connecting to Alexa was smooth. My wife enjoys changing the colors for different moods - it makes us feel quite nice. They cost a bit more than regular bulbs, but the quality seems worth it.

These lights were super easy to set up in the living room! The app runs smoothly. We used them for movie night, and they created such a cool atmosphere.

Took about a week to arrive but I love these lights! My apartment feels completely different now - super cozy. The app is straightforward and works without a hitch and setting them up with Alexa was easy.

The quality is fantastic and worth the wait! You can see the careful crafting in every detail - I'm so pleased with what I got.

I have finally come to the conclusion that this company is defrauding ALL of its customers. Continual promises that they will ship the products we all paid for. In essence, they are only out to take people's money with no intention to actually ship any of the perks or products to anyone. Literally, hundreds of people have been strung along for upwards of 4-5 months. Being told over and over that their promised product is "processing." Even providing tracking numbers that go nowhere. This is a very bad look for Indiegogo, allowing Moonside to continue taking money and promoting its products after knowing that Moonside is defrauding its customers. I am now hesitant to ever back another campaign on the website.

I was foolish enough to back their project on Indiegogo.
No updates, empty promises, false tracking number and obviously no product received.

At the same time they have the audacity to launch another new product on the website (regardless of the fact that they are not able to fulfill what they promised to backers) and to start offering the very same, backed product directly from the website practically cheaper than what backers had to pay.

Don't take my word, I recommend checking the Indiegogo Moonside Star Bulb discussion section.

Just stay away from them.

They never sent the item. It has been over a year. They gave a false tracking number and then send cut and paste emails when asked for updates. I asked for a refund and they went silent. Very much a scam.

Ordered MagLight on Kickstarter 4th October 2023. Last update about "logistical problems" was Feb 2024.
Still not tracking or delivery.
Received an email with the usual - "The logistical issues which previously impacted our ability to update you have been resolved. We are now in the process of shipping orders sequentially, and your MagLight will be dispatched shortly. We will update you with the tracking information once your package is on its way Blah, blah, blah.

After a month, nothing has arrived. They don't use any tracking on orders. When I asked for a refund they didn't agree (as the product was being shipped). When you get in contact with customer services they say they will get a tracking number ASAP, but then you hear nothing. Just avoid this company.
