Unexplained and unexpected delays to my order. Nearly 2 weeks to deliver a tyre. No response when the customer care team were emailed. Will stick to demontweeks in future.

Do not use this company . They say that they can't fulfill your order offer you a refund then don't give you it . I have rang them on numerous occasions and they are just not bothered . They are the worst company I have ever dealt with .

Much the same as the other reviews here. Placed an order and paid by card, expected a slightly longer than normal delivery as the website says there are delays due to customs etc.

Placed an order on 21st of July for two tyres, and received a confirmation email. 3 days later, i received an email asking for a bank transfer payment before my order could be processed. I assumed this was an admin error as the confirmation email had already been received for the order and the money had cleared on my card. Another payment request email followed and so I phoned the company. I was told that two orders had been processed in my name one which had been paid bycard and a second request to be paid by bank transfer which was not the case. The second order was duly cancelled and I was told my tyres were on the way and would be with me on the 5th of August.

No tyres on the 5th...and so another phonecall. Im. Now told the tyres are held up at "customs" unsure whether this is outgoing or incoming and that it is impossible to provide a date as it may be "many many working days. "

If you like ordering tyres months in advance, this company is probably ok, and you might save £5 on each tyre. If you are looking for tyres because you know you need new tyres now ... Go elsewhere

Ordered a tyre on the 5th July, arrived 3rd August, shipping said 3 to 5 days, once I placed my order they gave an estimated date of the 14th July, as stated tyre did arrive but was close to a month to get to me, don't think I will use again unless they sort out speedier deliveries,cannot fault DPD in Britain who delivered it fast enough once they had it, I order quite a bit from Germany and its usually with me in about 7 days so there should be no excuses really , spend an extra £5 or £10 elsewhere for a tyre and get it within a couple of days,

Tyres ordered 15 July.. been fobbed off with lies and promises. Seems the same as another reviewer who said ''tyres ready to be collected by courier on 28 July and to expect delivery by 6 Aug. The promise of a tracking number and link has not materialised. No reply to my last email asking when this will all happen.
Next time,.I'll check Trustpilot first. As it seems many people have identical issues. Lets just hope my tyres actually arrive!

Ordered from mobilemechshop through Tyres.net on 07/07/21. Both websites are part of the same company Deloitte, they own several other websites such as mytyres.com. I did check reviews before purchasing and was expecting a 2-3 week wait for the tyres. On payment the invoice email provides an estimate delivery date of 20/07/21. If I had needed tyres urgently I wouldn't have used them. Tyres arrived on the 2 week mark, 21/07/21. The tracking showed the tyres shipped from Germany. Unsure why there is such a long transit time as the tyres were delivered to the German warehouse within 24 hours. From this point there is no tracking update until the day before delivery. DPD UK get the tyres on 20/07/21 and delivered 21/07/21 so delay is not UK side. I expect the delay is on the export side going out of Germany to a non EU destination or the company is holding the tyres to ship to the UK in bulk. I paid no customs charges and the invoice shows VAT is paid. I don't have an issue with the delay as the tyres arrived before my MOT. My negative review is the tyre label was not accurate. The label shows a lower fuel efficiency to the one on the website which is against UK Trades Description Act. The label also shows it as an XL tyre but the website makes no reference of this. I did make a healthy saving on the tyres after fitting by using the tyres.net price tracker. Tyres are delivered wrapped in plastic and well protected. Customer service is very poor. Telephone line will disconnect you and my emails were ignored.

Chose Mobile mech Shop because the availability(?delivery?) time was marginally shorter than the others

The supplier now comes up as Deltilog Ltd, Witney, UK, dir' Kai Dopmann

foolishly only then did I check trustpilot.
Maybe my order will be one which goes smoothly.
I'm bookmarking the page to remind myself to update it.

"The items were sent out on 28.07.2021 and will probably arrive on 6.08.2021" < that'll be day10*
- day8 -Aug 4 - I thought I might have had some notification of tracking number etc by now.

- day14 - no news -

It's a bit confusing but I see four links on the tracking section.
Two parcel numbers created on 28July say the parcels were delivered to Lehrte on 29July.
Two parcel numbers created on 29July say 'data transmitted', nothing else.

On DPD UK

The 28July numbers don't show up.
The 29July numbers(-day2) say 'We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel'.

-day15 @ 11aug
1 - 07.45 I received a reply to my email two days ago !
2 - 08.00 I received an(automated?) email saying my tyres were out for delivery to me today !

and when I looked out of the window there they were, left just inside the property. 12.32 according to DPD later, but that was while I was typing this

I gave 4 stars due to the long waiting time for the delivery it took 10 days. I ordered ollseason tyres I saved around £30-40. Overall I am happy with my order end I can recommend the company.

Awful service, ordered one tyre and still no delivery after 3 weeks. When I spoke to them on two separate occasions they said my order was still held in customs. I am now waiting for a refund. My advice, do not purchase from this company.

So, read all the reviews and fully understood that this company was not based in UK. All tyrees come from Germany, so the expectations for me were that they would arrive 2-4weeks. Ordered the specific tyres I was after, winter tyres to be precise, ordered them in Summer as didn't require them until the Winter. Price comparison to UK tyre prices was the main reason as they were undercutting the main tyre dealers in the UK by 30-50%. Ordered 4 winter tyres, and they arrived 15 days after ordering. If you can wait for the tyres then you can expect to get a good deal from these guys. Overall.... really pleased.

Goods not received two weeks after order and no news available on when delivery will be. Web site is misleading as it does not explain it is not a UK site and that no tyres are in stock in the UK.

Sadly i cant give minus stars, misleading and possibly dishonest company. Website says its in the UK, but you're tyres are coming [hopefully] from Germany. They say they are in transit, or stuck in customs when in actual fact they haven't even left Germany. They do mark the value of the tyres down to avoid customs charges, but not much use when they don't arrive. Liars and scam artists, do not use them, be warned, and because they stipulate "around" a delivery date, it takes thirty working days to get the money back via credit card. If you cancel the order you break the contract so don't do that, just waste thirty days, buy from the UK and make sure it's where the company is based. Ridiculous service… ordered a tyre as their website was saying 1-3 days delivery, we waited more than 2 weeks and when I called them they said our tyre was sent out. Nobody informed us that it is coming from Germany. So I called them to cancel the order as we managed to find tyre somewhere else and was told that we will get money back within 36 hours… two weeks later still waiting for the refund. Avoid this company unless you like to wait.

Place kept blaming Brexit on delay and "stuck in customs" whenever i rang
Eventually got sick of this 29Jun and asked for a cancellation, that is was told would come in 2-3 days
It has to Friday 02Jul afternoon and i am now on the phone to my bank claiming the money back as a fraud

Avoid avoid avoid !

If you have paid for service's or goods and not received them in a time frame given by the supplier and you are been fogged off by the supplier.
Then their business practice needs to be highlighted to authorities who have the powers to get them back on track or closed.

Absolute joke of a company, 3 weeks after ordering tyres I found out they'd been sent back to the warehouse in Germany. Do not use them

Ordered two tyres thinking they were UK based, clearly they are not! Monies debited at the point of order. Email stating the tyres would "probably" arrive two weeks later? Probably? how can this be allowed without indication surely this is mis-selling? Avoid and buy local you will save yourself a lot of angst! Terrible company surviving on extremely dubious business practice! AVOID!

Totally appalling service, I purchased tyres believing they would be delivered in 3-4 days, 24 hours later order confirmation stated delivery would probably be delivered in 12 days.
I cancelled the order as this was an unacceptable time to wait and I am still waiting for my refund!
