We have found batch cooking a super easy way to be prepared. Love that… we don’t like guessing with some of the recipes with qty, if some thing can be slow cooked or instructions and when items are clearly missing.

I have been using mob for a few weeks now and have made mob recipes every night of the week! We love it. All the recipes have been great and we love the shopping list feature and recommended recipes based on similar ingredients. Would highly recommend. All recipes are super easy as well which is a bonus!

Signed up for the free trial without really using the app as it was not particularly useful. I received no reminder from Mob that the trial period was ending, just a notification from my bank that the annual subscription fee had been taken from my account. I immediately cancelled the service and contacted customer services regarding a refund as directed by the website. Customer services were far from helpful and advised that, as per the T&Cs, the fee was non-refundable despite not using the service and cancelling within hours of the charge. The billing practice feels deliberately deceptive and the product is not worth the price. Avoid

Great app and well worth the money. Some really quick and easy recipes on there that don’t require lots of ingredients and are easy to cook. App is easy to use.

I found the recipes too complicated for everyday meals. The amount of ingredients were insane. These are meals I would cook on a weekend. No one wants to do all that work after working full time and you'd need to be working full time to afford all the ingredients. When I came to cancelling my account i was unable write my experience about the using the app..... When I chose the option "other" reasons for cancelling and writing my feedback I was unable to continue and had to choose one of their options for leaving.

Absolutely love the app and since using it I am trying to convince every friend and family member to get on it.
Recipes are so vast, from easy recipes like roasted chicken to more difficult, elevated dishes. I have been using it for 7 months, I use it for meal prep, batch cooking, family dinners…so easy to follow instructions, I like how once you choose your meals they suggest more meals based on the ingredients you already have.
Also I like the fact that they always improve the app, since I started using it first I feel like the app just got better and the use got smoother.
Absolutely love the app and I can’t recommend it enough. Made cooking so enjoyable and took the worry of what I’m cooking next.

They charge you upfront for a yearly membership when doing a trial. Got charged my first day of a trial, cancelled, tried to refund and got my request cancelled. How is this practise legal?

Discovered I'd already been charged when I decided I didn't want it during 'free' trial. Recipes on-site ok-ish but a lot feel very similar. Not particularly inspiring. Add are much more tempting than the recipes I've tried. Overall not impressed.

I’ve been using MOB for a month now and can honestly say it’s been brilliant. I’m a home cook and always cook from scratch but weekday meals were becoming a bit predictable and boring . The choice and range MOB offfers is inspiring and interesting. I love the shopping list feature! It also
Has stopped me buying things “just in case” as I’m planning my weekly meals and shopping and spending has become more efficient…. And I hardly throw spoilt food out anymore!! Thank you MOB.

I use this app quite often for lunch and dinner ideas. The search of recipes based on ingredients and/or categories makes quick to find your perfect meal. The instructions to make the meals are very straightforward and easy to follow.
Lastly, the comments other users leave on each recipe gives me reassurance of making that meal.
Very happy with the app.

Love the mob app, it’s changed my weekly admin task of thinking of dinner ideas. It’s really easy to use, great that the amount of people can be adjusted and love that it creates a shopping list for you so no going to and from recipes to create one. Rated 4* not 5* just because not all recipes are 100% accurate. For example on my shopping list it said tomatoes, then when I went to make dinner and went to method it states sun-dried tomatoes. This would not put me off the app though and I highly recommend using it 😀

it can suggest meals based of ingredients, a cool feature would be to tell all the ingredients that I have and gives me options based off that, I don't need to use all ingredients perse.
Now it comes up without results because it's trying to find recipes with all given ingredients.
Pictures or videos of each step would be helpfull like hellofresh etc.

Terrible customer service, I messaged to cancel my subscription as I couldn't see how to do it via the app and was told that it has been cancelled only to be charged a couple days later. The person explained that they have no say over the app only the website?! And despite seeing I had a web account and app account only cancelled the one and didn't tell me about the other. No apology no explanation just a 'contact google'. Strange and unpleasant and I would not renew because of this.

Really disappointing. I cancelled the trial subscription within the time frame specified, but they had already charged me. I contacted them and they referred me to Apple who basically said ‘no right to a refund’ with no explanation.
I had also purchased another gift subscription with them for a member of my family, so they’ve already got me as a customer…then to top it off Mob overcharged me for my subscription!
Such a shoddy and unnecessarily punitive experience recommend looking after customers better in future. Damaged trust in both Mob and Apple.

Not that many meal planning features. Really should be delivering more with the cost of the sub.
Sharp practice in subbing too. No prorated refunds, can't cancel ahead without losing remaining sub time, unsubbing is very difficult to do. Trial period is so short and defaults for a year that it's planning on this. I don't imagine they have many intentional subscribers.

Easy to use app and great variety of recipes

I would give them 0 stars if it was available. Absolute scam of a company. I downloaded the app on my iPad to as it stated that they were offering a 7 day free trial. Straight away they took money from my account and I was forced to request a refund from Apple but as they are third party they had to escalate it. Don’t trust them. They are scammers and as so many other people have stated they take your money without permission. The app in itself is mediocre and I have bought better recipes apps for far less money.

I’m not sure what the stigma is regarding the free trial. I asked them to cancel it and they did so straight away, no issues at all.

The recipes are great, and the price is actually very decent! I only cancelled as I’m waiting for another subscription to end, but I’ll be opting back into Mob as I enjoyed the app.

Love 99% of the recipes, good tastes and variety. Have found some new staples to our go to meals and it's been fun trying new recipes. The search function on the app is a bit confusing, I see recipes on Instagram that I can't easily find on the app. Some of the details to each recipe are incorrect or missing too - EG ingredients listed are not mentioned in the method or the serving sizes and nutritional value are off. Overall really enjoying it.

Great app. Wide choice of recipes which are well written.
Shopping list makes planning easy. Particularly like the update with freezing instructions.
Good search function too.
