Like others on here I ordered the Cleanova Glide7 robot vacuum cleaner. I did a lot of research & decided that I wanted a model with auto-charging. I read the reviews on “independent” review sites & this was rated the highest by one company. The website was impressive & the features were really good for the money. The company was listed as based in London. I went ahead & ordered the vacuum & quickly received an email confirmation.
The first red flag soon followed when the tracking number was for a dispatch from China. Now I wasn’t concerned about it being made there as most things are but dispatched from there is not good because it invariably means major issues if you need to return it.
The vacuum arrived after a couple of weeks but the package was obviously too small to contain an auto-charge machine. This was confirmed when I opened it & no free gift either!
At this point I checked out the returns policy & other well-hidden terms & conditions. As expected if you return anything you pay the postage to China & if they are satisfied it’s not been used you can hope to get 65% back, less postage. Basically you’ll get nothing so nobody will bother.
Hidden somewhere in their T’s & C’s is a mention that they may substitute the ordered model with an alternative…
I embarked on a string of angry emails with customer services, supposedly based in the UK but weirdly responsed at very strange hours! Basically I kept threatening to go through my credit card as I’d clearly not received the goods I ordered.
Eventually they agreed to a 25% discount which put the cost of the cleaner in the right ball park for a basic model and saved me the hassle of a dispute with my credit card company.
The “intelligent” model they sent is very basic for a robot cleaner. It has to be charged through a USB & only lasts about 35 minutes. The app which comes with it is pretty useless & not surprisingly gets a 1* rating on the App Store. It doesn’t have any kind of sensor to prevent it bumping into chair legs or skirting boards. It doesn’t pick up all bits. It loses charge quickly even if you’re not using it.
On the plus side it does pick up animal hair well & is worth my keeping for this alone.
Overall you should avoid this company like the plague!

Ordered top of range iron , totally different model sent which does not even work .
Continuously saying that they cannot access photos of the time , asking for a video ! Can only hope that they will eventually be caught out and prosecuted .
Hopefully more people read reviewed before parting with their money

Fairly elaborate scam for relatively small payoff in that they have built at least 3 entire websites, the first one is a consumer comparison website, in the vein of Which? focused on electrical goods.
On closer inspection all the reviews take the user through to either Mimyy or Lumyy, both one and the same; they'll take your money, you'll receive a digital receipt and order confirmation and then nothing.

Order never received, though was marked as delivered on tracking page, no proof of delivery forthcoming after several requests.
Fobbed off with' thank you for your patience' emails.
No refund offered. Bank refunded through chargeback.

This is repeating what has been said already. Do not use this company. My bank refunded me after non delivery.

Not only have they failed to send the order I made, they are not willing to provide a refund, I have emailed several times and they are full of false promises.
They agreed to a refund last week only to send an email that they were instead sending the item instead, as I have explained to them, this was a gift and as they failed to get the parcel to even leave mainland China it was no longer needed or wanted as a result of poor service. They have no working phone number as the one listed is disconnected so it’s not possible to speak to anyone.
Avoid this very badly run business at all costs, they are very quick to take your money but unwilling to refund you when they have failed in their obligations.
Legal proceedings are to follow.

I bought a clean over glide M7 #1361 from Mimyy cost £170 and they sent me it was supposed to be some sort of smart robot. Which I emailed back to say you have sent me the wrong item to be told I haven't got the wrong item. I've got the right item in the wrong box. I think they thought I was stupid going back was in forwards with them and what they offer started off to be 30% refund 20% that I could've spent in the store which I didn't want to a 30% restocking fee. This went on back was in forwards until they actually update 50% refund which was rubbish.
When I looked it up on eBay, you could buy it for £16.79 brand new, so I was scammed out of my money.
I did contacted my bank HSBC and they redirected me to the fraud team who worked on my behalf.
I had to wait at least 16 days, for Mimmyy send me my full refund, but today I finally got my full refund back from the bank, which was most impressive so if you've been scammed there is a way out contact your bank.
Don't buy any thing from this company

Suffice to say that our experience with MIMYY mirrors that of the other reviewers here. The item that arrived was not the one that had been ordered and it was damaged. It was clear that engagement with MIMYY was going to be a fruitless exercise. After submitting evidence (copies of emails, screenshots from the MIMYY website and a photograph of the damage to the received item) a chargeback has very quickly been authorised by my credit card company.

I bought a Cleanova Glide M7, it’s rubbish. Keeps repeatedly banging on things and it leaks.

I also ordered a GlidePro mop and slider which have never arrived.

I contacted the company who have advised me t9 return it at my own cost for a refund. Cheapest return option almost forty pounds! Never again would i use Mimyy.

I also wish that I'd read the reviews first. The item which arrived was not the same as the product on line. After fobbing me off by saying that they sometimes use different packaging, they also offered me a discount to keep it, which I rejected. They then asked me to return it to their warehouse at my expense and also imposed a 35% res-stocking fee. Clearly they do not adhere to the T&C's on their website which clearly state 'no re-stocking fees' and ' free returns'.

I am like several of your other contributors. I ordered a Cleanova M7 robot cleaner and got a cheap look alike which is not fully automatic. They just bang on saying it's OK. Eventually after much argument and the help of my credit card company they agreed a refund if I return it at my cost to China!
They are now threatening the small claims court!
I guess I can give it back to them when we meet in court!

Would give zero stars if an option
I ordered a robotic hoover which was supposed to arrive in a week - it didn’t ! I chased company asking to cancel and they said it was already in transit. When it did arrive the box was damaged , seemed like somebody had opened it . The vacuum was flimsy and not as described . Frustrating e mail exchange where I was told I had to pay for return and pay 35% re stocking fee. ( for something they won’t be able to justifiably sell to anyone else as damaged packaging ) eventually I escalated to VIsa my payment provider who generated a refund in full and am now receiving bullying e mails from company threatening to take me to small claims court if I don’t return the item to an address in china (which will cost me £70 ) what a most unpleasant experience and I would avoid this company at all costs

Ordered the LumiCast K90 Smart Projector; given the reviews it has received.
The product received looks nothing like the images used to advertise it! (It is more like the cheap £20 version you can buy from Amazon.) Not only does it look so different, the quality is far from the price point paid.

They state - Please note that as we work with global fulfillment centers and multiple suppliers, the branding or packaging may sometimes differ, but the functionality remains the same.

They offer -
Return & Refund – You may return the product at your own shipping cost. Once received at our warehouse, we will process your refund after deducting a 35% restocking fee.

Keep the Product with Partial Refund/Store Credit – As an alternative, you may keep the product and choose either:

A 15% partial refund (with 35% restocking fee applied, no return shipping required), or

A 20% store credit for future purchases with us.

Aside from the illegality of it, as if you’d ever shop with them again.

Do not buy from them

Bought a watch and item is not as expected for the price I paid. No brand, cheap rubbish. They state '30 days money back guarantee' this is a lie as they ask you to agree to a 35% restocking fee if you return to china at your own expense and so far still haven't given me a return address despite me asking 3 times. To turn the attention away from the return they offer a 15% refund and then later a 20% refund.

I only wish I had seen the reviews here before placing my order. What arrived was not what was advertised—it was a cheap, substandard knock-off that bears little resemblance to the product shown online. I feel completely misled and gutted by the experience. This company clearly has no regard for quality or honesty. Lesson learned: I’ll be doing far more due diligence before trusting a seller again. Avoid at all costs.

I would give it no stars if that was an option. I ordered a robot vacuum cleaner from a firm, not realising it was yet another Chinese company.
When the product was delivered, it was not the one I had ordered. It had no product name on the device and most significantly, no charging station.
On contacting the company, they deny it is the wrong product that I received. I have refused their offer of keeping the item and receiving a 13% refund. They also mention 35% restocking fee!
I hate having been caught out again by these tricks but it is getting harder to detect who you are buying from.

Rip off company. Sent a knock-off version of a robot cleaner. Took two weeks for it to arrive then did not function properly. They ignored requests for a refund and kept saying it was being referred to another department. Have initiated a chargeback through credit card company

Ordered the lumicast projector. Was sent an unbranded knock off version that is available from other stores for a fraction of the cost. Would not offer a refund avoid at all all cost
