DO NOT buy anything from this ‘store’. The on-line descriptions of garments are deceptive; the fabrics are cheap and not made from the component fibres described on the website; and the workmanship is shoddy. What’s more, the ‘30 day returns’ ‘policy’ is a sham. The ‘company’ will, it seems, do almost anything to prevent a customer from returning products for the refund to which he or she is entitled. Shoddy in the extreme.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.I had exactly the same experience as SE in her review of 2 April 2026: same dress, same appalling lack of customer service. I followed one of your other reviewers’ advice and contacted my credit card company under the heading ‘chargeback’ or ‘dispute claim’. Result: a full refund from Maison Vaison and no requirement to return the dress and thus incur heavy shipping costs.

Ordered a jacket online. When it arrived it was too small a poor quality. Applied for a refund. This was refused and they offered 25% refund. I asked for 100%. They refused. I finally gave up, sent the jacket back and agreed 50% refund. Oh, and I paid £10 delivery of the refund

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! Like so many others I bought a dress advertised as linen and it turned out to be flimsy, crackly synthetic. Tried to put me through all sorts of hoops to refund until I gave up. Scammers!

I put 1 star because there is no option for zero stars.
I recently purchased a dress online from Maison Vaison for €60, and I was extremely disappointed with the quality. The fabric is very cheap and poorly made — honestly, it’s not even worth €10.

I contacted customer service to request a return, but they رفضوا completely. Instead, they offered me only a 15% refund and told me to keep the item. This is unacceptable. When a product is clearly not as expected, customers should have the right to return it for a full refund.

This experience has been very frustrating. The quality does not match the price at all, and the customer service is even worse. I would not recommend buying from this company. I put 1 star because there no zero star!

I would not trust this company. The clothes are nothing like what's on the website. Very flimsy material. I definitely won't be buying from this company again

As soon as the package arrived I knew it was not linen,it weighed 214gms ! I bought the dress as it stated linen, it has a label in the back neck 95% polyester 5%spandex, not linen ,its a cheaply made dress possibly made in China,I expected better quality and made in the fabric stated! for £59.95 !! If this company took as much time to inspect the quality of the goods they're selling as they obviously have to fooling everyone on their brilliant website,what a good company it would be!!

The company is totally a scam. The quality of the items got nothing to do with what they presented on the site.
They don’t make any refund just keep lying 🤥 .

I ordered a midi linen dress and was surprised when I collected a tiny little parcel. It should have been twice the size. I don't think they should get away with this as it is polyester not linen. The hem is a shambles. The whole thing is a mess. I have now read other reviews about this company and do not feel I can go through all the agro they have had getting a refund. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. 4 articles purchased to the tune of over £211. A dress advertised as linen ..static polyester! Sandals with no buckle. Wrong colour jacket which is a child’s size. Slippers that dont fit and cheap, cheap, cheap. As with previous customers… they refuse to allow returns, offering a credit note for a company you’d never want to purchase from again or a25% refund on clothes you can’t wear! An enormous a,punt if time now to be spent dealing with bank, ombudsman and posting reviews! Wish I’d looked here first before processing my order.

I was totally conned too, ordered what I thought was a lovely dress and not cheap, when it arrived it bore no resemblance to what I had ordered. Just cheap and nasty wouldn’t even wear it to bed. I am going to return it though, at my own cost of course. Then just block this unscrupulous company from my phone.

There are many negative reviews of this company. My experience is identical. Placed order. Tried to cancel when I received the confirmation, which indicated the wrong size. No luck with this. Eventually, the dress arrived (in the aforementioned wrong size). I did not even remove the celophane wrapping. Like all the other complainants, I was asked for photos and videos, etc. We are now 18 emails in, and the exact same refusal to issue full refund, and option to retain the dress (which I will have to leave in to a charity shop) and have a partial refund. This is a French sounding company, with an address in The Netherlands. I was charged for the dress in Euros. In fact, it seems to be a UK based company, dealing in this manner to avoid 'Brexit' and customs issues, etc. Yes, it is a total scam and I am now referring the matter to the EU Consumer Rights. I do not expect any refund, but really believe 'Maisonvaison' should be investigated and exposed for what they are

Unfortunately, the items I purchased came from China. Not only that but they were of a significantly inferior quality to what I was expecting; and the sizing is very small, I am a UK 10 and the medium didn’t fit.
Their return policy is misleading offering only 38% of the purchase cost or a replacement item at 50% reduction.
Having gone through a series of emails, I have decided to contact the office in Holland, Trading Standards, Citizens advice and others who may handle this case.
When I reiterated that I wanted a refund on return I was then told that there were issues with the UK warehouse so it wove a very long time before I received anything back. They still haven’t sent details on how to return my items.
I insisted that I would expect a return label to the address in Holland, this point was completely ignored.

Shocking, I would advise against ordering from this company. Extremely poor quality and complete refusal to refund. All they offer is 35% of cost if you push them. They refuse to give any details on how to return items and give a veiled response of items returned that “go missing “
Definitely avoid.

I ordered 3 linen items, assuming they would be shipped from the Netherlands. Obviously, it’s an utter scam and I wish I had read Trust Pilot reviews before ordering. None of the items were linen (a cheap nylon), wrong colours and no tags. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to request a returns address. I keep being fobbed off with a partial refund of 35% and a store credit - they are beginning to really test my patience. All items are substandard! I will report to Trading Standards and the police. They jeopardise small businesses that are legitimately trying to make a living. Crooks!

I'm holding out for a full refund. If I don't get one I will report them to trading standards. It's about time something was done to stop their illegal practices

Please do not use this website the delivery timescales indicated are not correct I’m still waiting for my dress almost 2 months after ordering and the customer service team only became responsive when I contacted my credit card company for a dispute resolution.

Further ADDENDUM: You should be able to raise a dispute through your bank and initiate a charge-back which will quickly credit you, then the bank draws the money back from the retailer.

ADDENDUM to the initial review (see below). In the UK it's worth calling the Citizens Advice Bureau for what to do next. They will report to Trading Standards and recommend how to follow up for a full refund, which depends on how you paid for the goods.

False description of polyester dress as 'linen'. Legally this requires full recompense, which they do not understand.

False 30-day money back guarantee claim. A 100% refund is only offered if you return the dress to their overseas warehouse at your own expense - I quote ... "international returns can be costly (often starting from around $30) and may take approximately 4–6 weeks including transit, inspection, and processing time".

Do not buy from these people!
