I ordered an iPhone 17 Pro Case in beautiful Plum Red colour but received it with a half-worn monogram. Customer support then offered a replacement or store credit. I accepted a store credit, ordered a new case but this time I received someone else's order because the case is in the wrong colour and has someone else's monogram. Despite the beautiful appearance of the case, the purchasing process has been long and full of unpleasant surprises on all three occasions. It's a shame that a company allows itself to make such oversights.

Elegant Design Undermined by Quality, Durability, and Transparency Concerns
I ultimately decided to purchase a bag from Maison de Sabre once they introduced a design featuring black hardware, as I strongly prefer it over gold. I had been eyeing the Medium Palais bag for quite some time, but the gold hardware had always held me back. When the Midnight edition was released, I felt a sense of urgency and made the purchase somewhat hastily out of concern that it might sell out and no longer be available. In hindsight, I do wish I had taken the time to see the bag in person before committing.
At first glance, the bag presents well, and the suede lining is a particularly appealing detail that adds a sense of softness and refinement to the interior. However, there are several aspects that fall short of expectations, especially given the price point. The leather, while structurally sound, feels noticeably dry and lacks the suppleness one would anticipate from a bag in this range. Additionally, the painted edges are quite uneven and, at times, appear sloppy, which detracts from the overall finish and craftsmanship. When compared to the edge glazing on bags costing less than half the price, the difference in quality is especially apparent and leaves much to be desired.
There are also quite a few areas where the material is already flaking after very minimal use, both on the bag itself and on the removable strap. This raises concerns about the overall durability and longevity of the piece.
The crossbody strap is another area that could benefit from improvement. It would be more functional with additional length and greater adjustability. Even at its longest setting, the bag does not sit at an ideal position on my frame (5'2"). More importantly, the excess strap does not stay in place when fully extended. The loops designed to secure the extra length are positioned too low on the strap to be effective at the longest setting, rendering them essentially unusable and leaving the strap looking untidy.
Additionally, my purchasing experience was not entirely consistent with what was advertised. At the time of ordering, the product page indicated that all U.S. orders would ship from a domestic fulfillment center. However, my order ultimately shipped from Australia, resulting in a significantly longer delivery time than expected.
I also submitted a review at the brand’s prompting that was very similar to this one, yet it has not appeared on their website. Notably, the Medium Palais product page appears to feature only five-star reviews, which raises concerns about the transparency and completeness of the feedback being displayed, as it suggests that less favorable customer experiences may not be published.
Overall, while the design and hardware are appealing, the execution, finishing details, durability, fulfillment experience, and apparent lack of balanced review representation do not fully align with the expectations set by the brand’s pricing, and the experience has left me wishing I had evaluated the bag in person prior to purchase.
Edited to Update: My review submitted to Maison De Sabres website is still nowhere to be seen so their reply about not censoring reviews is most certainly false. I didn’t however reach out to them like they requested because I’m honestly just over it in general and don’t want to deal with them and the only way I’d be happy is if they let me return the bag and I’m sure they won’t based on other reviews I’ve seen from people and their return policy

My wife LOVES her Mini Bucket!
I'm always wary of dealing with a company for the first time, so I sent a communication to Maison de Sabre before purchasing. I received an immediate automated response, followed by a personalized reply from Carmela within a few hours. She answered my questions, and replied to my follow-ups even faster. I bought my wife the "Mini Bucket Bag - Foam Cashmere" a few weeks before Mother's Day, hoping for it to arrive in time. It arrived in just a couple of days! Additionally, the quality lives up to the price. My wife (who is VERY hard to please) has told me every day how much she "LOVES" this purse. She's used it every day, and it's held up very well. Sometimes I even catch her just looking at it with a huge smile!

Inaspected costs too high, delivery time too long!
I bought a phone case. Delivery time was crazy long!
The product quality is ok as my expectation.
Furthermore I need to change it because I order the wrong size. At first I have to wait 1 week for the return authorisation and all the delivery and costum costs are on my side: from Italy it costs around €60 to receive the item and other €60 to send it back. For me too much!
