We are in the process of buying our first apartment in Lanzarote.
We needed to find a company who do currency transfers for our deposit from the UK GBP to Euros.

My experience for the past year with Magna Financial has been exceptional. The staff has been professional, attentive, and supportive in a way that was easy for me to understand and to facilitate my financial needs.

This was the second time using Magna Financial buying a property abroad and both times Osman has been amazing. My Mother used them to buy a house in Spain. I was harassed weekly by Osman to transfer with them and then when I asked for a better rate he tried to baffle me with currency speak!! We were told by Osman it would cost around £800..well it cost them nearly £3000!!!! Went to the FCA but as they used old currency it couldn’t be proven!!!! Will NEVER recommend them!!!!!

We used Magna Financial for a currency exchange in Sept 2023 to Jan 2024.
We were hugely ripped off £5210. Told lie after lie, no explanations, no proof where these misding funds went.
After a long struggle involving The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) we finally got the money refunded after a year. Extremely stressful time. While holding our funds O Hanif told us when challenged " I will let bank keep your money". Absolutely awful company avoid avoid avoid.

It’s a strange feeling transferring your life savings to a company you’ve never dealt with before and someone you’ve never met. However, magna financial came with great recommendations from our Spanish mortgage broker. They offered great rates and personal service. I am pleased to report that they delivered excellently on both counts. Their response rate to calls emails & WhatsApp was exemplary and the ease of using their system was remarkable. I’ve have had lots of problems with banks in the past but Magna cut all that out completely. I would happily recommend this company to anyone and will definitely be using them again in the future.
