Struggle with rear light mount.

Good communication with customer service, we found a good solution for my problem. Quick response time, good customer service, seems like they lister to their customers. Overall very happy with the Magicshine products purchased so far.

I purchased a Magicshine Monteer 1400 because I trusted a brand that appeared to stand for quality, durability, and sustainability, even though it was more expensive than many alternatives. After 6 years of working perfectly, a small plastic mounting part broke, making the light unusable for cycling.

I contacted both technical support and the marketing department looking for a solution. I suggested several alternatives: advising whether any current adapter could be adapted to fit, providing the design or technical drawing of the part so I could 3D print it myself, or recommending any other technical solution that would allow me to continue using a light that still works perfectly.

They have not helped me at all. They confirmed that no spare parts are available, offered no alternative solution, and the only proposal I received was a 20% discount code to purchase a new light.

Personally, I prefer to support companies that are committed to repairability and extending the lifespan of their products. That is precisely why I chose Magicshine instead of cheaper alternatives. Today, I am disappointed with the response I received.

I bought a Seemee r300 from magicshine July 2025 and it has the brightest and longest charge of any rear light i have ever used in 27 years, i had a problem this month June 2026 and they replaced free of charge great after sale service, I will be recommending to all in my group "Leeroadies "

The website is super easy to navigate and every part of the buying process is just seamless.

Overall, I’m happy with the product. It’s lightweight and its daytime flash is nice and bright. The 7 hours of battery on daytime flash is not as long as it sounds I’m sure there’s a trade off between duration and weight though, so I’m willing to charge it more often to save some grams.

It can with a small zip tie but I couldn’t figure out how to use it to secure the mount to my seat post so I just used the stretchy band it came with. The instructions also listed a mode that the light doesn’t seem to have, but that’s not a deal breaker.

I've had a couple of these lights for MTB and they've been great. I recently reached out to support as one of my lights stopped working, and they've were super helpful in getting my issue resolved. Turns out that I needed a replacement light under warranty, and one was sent out without any drama whatsoever. Thank you!

My handlebar light is really great and highly recommended.

Light seemed bright and with easy controls via separate button that mounts conveniently on handle bar, but the mount for the light itself fell apart on first attempt to install. Cheap plastic that broke in two places: the joint hinge with small metal pin as well as the site where the tightening hex screw enters

Replaced what my cat ate. Seriously!

I absolutely love my Magicshine Hori 1300! The light is top-notch, with crazy good battery and it's built to last. Also big thank-you to the support team, I had an issue with my remote but the team was incredibly helpful and resolved everything very quickly. I’m so impressed with their responsiveness! Highly recommend this brand, would give it more stars if I could.
