Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Very easy to order and collect. We ordered the red velvet, and it was very very good. Not sickeningly sweet like others. Also loved that there are different sizes of cakes available. We got the 5” cake, and was the perfect size for us. Hate ordering a huge size and end up with so much leftover.

Awesome Cake & Service
User friendly online service. Love that I could pick up fresh at a nearby store. Upon arrival Lola's had my cake all ready to go. I appreciated the text/email reminders. Hubby loved the quality of his black forest cake. He has always loved BF and highly recommends this one. We will return and buy more cakes in the future. Cant wait to try additional options offered that we have not yet. Thanks again!!!!

Great quality ingredients
Great quality ingredients. Love the low sugar element, wish there were more vegan gluten free options. I had to transport these cupcakes on my moped. My cupcakes always fall out of their placements in the box.. So when I get home it's a bit messy.. It would be useful to have a cupcake shaped lid that could be inserted inside the box to make sure they don't come loose out of their placements.

My absolute go-to bakery for birthday cakes for all my friends and family. Customer Service team always go above and beyond to accommodate my late requests and always deliver magic!! Red Velvet is super tasty :)

Would definitely order from Lola's again
Really pleased with my experience with Lola's cupcakes. I was surprised at how easy it was. I ordered a birthday cake online and picked it up from London Waterloo and immediately jumped on a train from there! And everyone loved the cake!

The cake was EXTREMELY sweet it’s a shame because we couldn’t eat it. it taste like you poured a bag full of sugar in the cake mix. Although it looked good on the outside. No one ate the cake so it was a waste of money.

I am very sorry to hear that you found your cake was sweeter than expected.
I can see on our system you ordered a 7" Rainbow Vanilla Cake.
Our Rainbow Cake is one of the sweetest cakes we offer, as it is made of thinner layers of sponge with multiple layers of buttercream icing in between the sponges and covering the outside of the cake.
Buttercream is the sweetest type of icing we offer. I would recommend trying some of our alternative icing choices such as chocolate ganache, cream cheese or mascarpone icing which all contain less sugar than buttercream. Our Red Velvet Cake for example, is iced with cream cheese icing which offers a less sweet, more balanced flavour.
I will be getting in touch with you shortly via email so that we can discuss this further and see how we can improve the experience for you.

Ordered a cake on the 19th December and I got a cake with a hair in it. I send an email to customer support next day when I cut the cake and I have not received a response to the date.
