ordered QYS pellets for bench rest…
ordered QYS pellets for bench rest competition shooting, 5 tins. the package arrived on time delivered by royal mail. unfortunately 4 of the 5 tins were badly damaged due to royal mail handling and poor protective packaging. emailed Livens just after taking delivery and provided a picture of the damage and did get a reply and an apology after just a few hours which said they would mention the matter to royal mail. I now have 2500 pellets to check for damaged skirting that is if i can unscrew the lids off the bent tins. My normal supplier had no stock so i thought I would give livens a go. £2.00 extra per tin. No offer of compensation and not impressed. If you are aware of royal mail mishandling packages use another delivery service.

no reply to several email messages no reply to guntrader messages no reply to voice mails no anwer on the telephone then finally
Unbelievable finally got through and asked about shot count and testing a used £1100 air rifle to be told.. we haven't got any .357 pellets, and we havent got time for that. Well guess what..I ain't got time to spend my money with you

Dear Customer,
We appreciate that you were in a hurry, but the timescales you expected from us were simply unrealistic.
As we can see, you did not have the time to wait for the normal process, and were already working to a very tight deadline before even allowing us a reasonable opportunity to respond. We are a busy independent shop and cannot drop everything to accommodate an urgent request, particularly when it is not something we can complete immediately.
For clarity, your first two emails were sent after we had closed on 13/08/2026. Your next email arrived at 09:55 on 14/08/2026, when we were already dealing with a substantial backlog. You then called at 11:45am, expecting an immediate answer.
We have been clear with you that we cannot fulfil your request within the timeframe you require. That does not make our service unreasonable; it simply means we cannot work to a deadline imposed at very short notice.
If you are in such a rush that you do not have time to wait for us to deal with your request properly, then unfortunately we may not be the right retailer for your particular requirements.
