I commissioned Legacy Tree Genealogists to research my wife's family as a surprise birthday present for her. The team were excellent at keeping me informed and updated and produced professional, comprehensive and insightful ancestry studies for both sides of her family. An excellent company to do business with.

I wanted to find my father's father. Although I thought it would be a long shot, I signed up to Legacy Tree. Within a very short time my paternal grandfather was identified. My researcher was a pleasure to work with and always responded quickly to my queries.
I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of the written report I received and also to find that it was available on line.
An excellent company that exceeds expectations.

I initially thought it was expensive, but now I think that it was worth every penny in order to fill in this gap in my family history. I now know where I come from!

I was disappointed that for $2,500 I'd get some more information. I'm not good at researcher and with Hass side having to go straight to Germany it's way to hard. The money was hard to come by.

My family tree is complex and as you move further back in time. The documents are more difficult to find. My Family on my father's side comes from Scotland.
I was stuck on a person to push forward in my tree. Legacy Tree Genealogists, Has done a wonderful job to help me push forward. They found me the information I needed. Since then my tree has grown magnificently. I am learning a lot about the history of my family. Scotland is such an amazing country. I am so happy my family goes back generations and generations.

Legacy Tree did very complete research on my father's ancestors. I had many questions and Legacy Tree was able to clarify a lot of mystery around my family tree.

I was so impressed with the research found on my family history! Derek Tollman was my contact agent and he was amazing!!!

I thought it would take a more expensive cost than it did and the results were good.

The end results is a good outline. I expected better results for $4,500.00.

Legacy Tree were great. very easy to deal with, and the reasearcher solved a long concealed family mystery which I had been unable to answer.

Gave them a broad assignment, and they researched and provided me a lot of new discoveries and new clues. Very happy.

My great grandfather came to Australia in the 1850's as a mining engineer. He told conflicting stories about his life and his family in the USA . Finding no US records of his birth, parents, or siblings, I asked LTG to investigate, using DNA matches.
I was impressed with LTG's meticulous approach to the task; their thoughtful analysis of DNA matches and their efforts to contact key DNA testers and research their genealogy.
While LTG was ultimately unable to find my ancestor's US family, they were able to identify my great grandfather's likely ancestors and recommend a future research program based on following up identified key descendants who did not respond to their contact requests.
LTG also postulated that my ancestor's surname may not have been that of his father, which would explain the difficulties they experienced in tracing his family.
Given the enormous amount of work undertaken by LTG, and the veritable trove of information they have provided, I am confident that our family mystery will eventually be resolved as further DNA testing emerges.

I never had contact with researcher to ask questions & maybe help guide. Told I gave too many documents. I didn't want them repeated but to help in the research. Guess that didn't work! I gave index card fold3 for Pension on New Marlborough, MA Valley Forge soldier Samuel Gibson. Surprise, surprise it led to his pension. Then the 3 areas I wanted researched weren't. Not sure why! But at the end of the report there was these 3 suggestions. I did get a pretty Genealogy 101 folder! My mistake thinking being across from the Provo FamilySearch Center would be to my advantage. I have used two other pro search teams for so much less & got results. I was even able to talk to the researcher. Didn't give their name to prevent any retaliation. I have been recommending them not you!

I had a specific lineage I requested to be traced and it was done to my satisfaction. They were very communicative and thorough.
It was especially pleasing when they were able to fulfill an added request, and it was handled very professionally.

Had hit the proverbial brick wall. Legacy Tree broke it down so that I could confidently move past the obstacle and add a few folks and years to my tree.

The research was thorough and extensive. Although the ultimate goal is still a ways off, the research provided giant steps forward.

I greatly appreciated the results. I shared them with my family and it started a very positive conversation. I am African American and the accessible information did thin out the further back the project researcher went. I also believe COVID had some impact, as well. I would have liked for the research to have at least made it past the 1865 barrier...

There's no way I could have confirmed my fathers war history.
