Subject: Request for Explanation and Refund for Blocked SIM Card
Dear Lebara Customer Support.
I am writing to formally request clarification and a refund regarding the sudden blocking of my SIM card.
I purchased a Lebara SIM card in Spain, Torremolinos, presented my passport for identification, and the service was activated correctly. However, later the same day my internet connection stopped working. After several days of contacting support, I was informed that my SIM card had been blocked.
I was never notified about this suspension, nor was I given any explanation or opportunity to resolve the issue. According to Spanish and EU consumer protection regulations, telecom providers must inform customers before suspending a service and must provide a clear reason for the action. Blocking a service without prior notice is not consistent with fair commercial practices.
Therefore, I kindly request the following:
1. A written explanation of the exact reason why my SIM card was blocked.
2. A refund for the unused service period, as I paid for a service that was not provided.
3. Confirmation that my identification documents were correctly processed at the time of purchase.
If this issue cannot be resolved directly, I will proceed with a formal complaint to the Spanish telecommunications regulator (Oficina de Atención al Usuario de Telecomunicaciones) and the local consumer protection office (OMIC).
I appreciate your prompt attention and look forward to a quick resolution.

Atención a un "no cliente" perfecta!

Voy a valorar a esta empresa sin haber "usado" sus servicios de telefonia...
Estaba esta mañana informandome en su web de sus tarifas, formas de pago, etc... sin querer me he suscrito a un servicio y lo he pagado por paypal!!!
Inmediatamente he podido contactar con un asesor por telefono, (espera de uns 3 min) que me ha dicho como proceder desde la web para anular el servicio y el pago.
En unas 4 horas ya he recibido anulación y reembolso.

Lebaraspain es la compañía de venta libre de lineas de telefono más estafadora que hay el servicio que prestan pesimo de todo españa te estafan à tu cara . Compras una linea por error la cual no la tenia en fisico . El servicio atencion cliente ponen mil trabas para debolver el dinero , se cubren dandote largo para que désistas y guedarse tu dinero , y te pelotean pero nunca son resueltos tus incidencia . Porgue te engañan que le des papeles para la cancelaciones y cuando se los mandas no resuelve nada.estoy muy indignada con ellos por su mal servicio por esta compañía lebara . Pesimo le doy 000000. Y cada vez que hablas con uno es un pretesto diferente . No es una compañía de fiarse bajo ninguna sircuntacias . Por su correo te lo devuelve atras , que llame atención al cliente , y cuando hablas te manda´ un wuasapt con La IA . En fin nada que resuelve los problemas de los clientes . Hable con très chicos y ninguno resuelve los problemas de la misma .no tiene´ verguenzas como compañía. En fin la porgueria y más. Lo unico que les digo que su estafa algún día le saldran caras .

€ 100 topped-up in three days WITHOUT using data......

During 3 days there were auto top-ups fm my bankaccount for in total € 100,00 for used data.
Whát?¿?
I did NOT use data in the mentioned days as I was on free WiFi all the time.
Spent more days by means of WhatsApp quarelling with the helpdesk of Lebara.
You have to be móre than patient with this helpdesk.... My examples of respond times:
My last message 14.54 hrs. Helpdesk comes back: 17.55 hrs.
Another day. My last message 12.47 hrs. Helpdesk comes back: 15.27 hrs.
My last message: 16.15 hrs. Helpdesk comes back: 20.01 hrs. writing nothing, helpdesk comes back: 22.16 hrs. writing let´s continue the next day...
Next day: Helpdesk writes: 08.00 hrs. Continue ? I answer: Yes. Answer Helpdesk: 09.15 hrs. It is busy...
Sorry for this long scetch of my "helpdesk" situation, but just to show what a mess it must be there.
Bút the most frustrating is: No solution, no compassion, no nothing at all.
So the charge of € 100,00 for data WHICH I 100% DID NÓT USE, will stand........!!!
Free tip: Do NOT go to Lebara!
So my one star, in fact must be zero star, or even better: Minus star.
Deeply disappointed in Lebara.
Edit: After another approx. 5 hours online thru WhatsApp on April 3 ánd 4, Lebara offered a refund of € 20. I could not do anything else then to accept, which I did.
Nevertheless I still am a very frustrated and disappointed customer of Lebara.....!

This is lebara owned by Xfera in Spain. Very different to actual Lebara UK and EU, this spanish company is very incompetent and can't manage to activate or replace sims. The customer service is Spanish but have a 'computer says no' attitude.
I placed a bonafide order online. Paid for it and then the Sim didn't work.. fault was Lebara Spain but they couldn't resolve the issue
Just told me to not buy online but go to a store and buy a sim. I asked if they would send me a replacement? No.
I spent a day on whatsapp, X and then was given the wrong spanish phone number, to be then given another number. Many minutes of roaming calls just to get my money refunded. Awful. LEBARA should remove their licence as it impacts ths brand

WIll not honour its promotional offers

I concur with the other reviews - all good until you have a problem that requires support from Lebara ES.

Furthermore, I received a PROMOTIONAL OFFER that LEBARA ES REFUSES TO HONOUR

My advice, dont fight it. As soon as you have an issue dont try to solve it with Lebara ES, just find an alternative supplier

Don’t waste your money on it

Waste of money.
All is good until you have a problem.
Then you just will not have a solution from the company.
On the chat they will literally tell that they cannot do anything to help you and they don’t give any information at all.
I am without datas or possibility to call since 1 month an according to them I still have to wait 15 days more.

Estafa

Estafa, pides un anticipo de saldo por que se me terminó, me cobra 10€ más el porcentaje de comisión y no me deja hacer llamadas ni nada, como que mi saldo está agotado, luego ingreso 24 euros en la app y me dan solo un bono de 10€ y dicen que me quedan 2€ para la próxima recarga, menuda estafa, pagas 24€ y te dan 12€ nunca contrates con Lebara

Terrible compagny, steal sometimes money for no reason, Esim has so many issues, stop working randomly, need to pay more to re-activate it, Mobile app does not allow you to top up. worst experience ever for mobile phone service.

Lebara Espania Spain Spanien

MAS 3 HORAS whatsapp Service. Service Lebara españia 3,5 horas = robo masivo de por vida 😡😡😡😡😡.
Esto va más rápido para que solucionen problemas, pero lo que me ofrecen aquí es simplemente un robo de tiempo en su máxima expresión.

Solo me han robado el tiempo, tres horas de mi valioso tiempo, eso debería ser castigado. Por eso voy a evitar Lebara, nunca más haré consultas, y escribiré reseñas negativas para advertir a otros del tiempo que me han robado, porque los resultados después de tres horas en WhatsApp son pésimos. Se debería poder activar un número mucho más rápido, para eso no hace falta un agente de servicio, sino solo presionar un botón, normalmente.

Mas, more then 3 hours only asking service, no results. obwohl man nur einen knopfdruck braucht.
only pressing a key to change this service: the SIM-Karte must be 6 month active, I have still money on this account !! 😲😡 asking only asking only asking only and not get fix help.
