I have emailed numerous times now as I didn't receive my monthly box for October but have since received my box for December. I have provided tracking info to show that there has been no information added for the shipment of my box. Boxes seem to always ship late.

I've gone with 4 stars as my calendar has only arrived now 14 days late. I was so worried by other reviews that I'd be receiving sub standard things or nothing at all, but my god how wrong i was! It js absolutely incredible and I am so glad i waited. Sadly day 9 was missing for me, my husband has messaged the owner so hoping to get a reply about that soon. But honestly, I am delighted and the gifts are amazing!

You rock! I know there were so many complications with meeting deadlines and you probably received 100s of emails.

Pre-ordered the Ghibli advent calendar ages ago and was initially disappointed that it was very delayed, but it just turned up today and it is incredible. Absolutely huge and all the boxes opened so far have had really good quality stuff inside, my wife loves it!

Ordered the sanrio advent calender and I am blown away by how high quality each and every item inside was, lovely variety of items, the plush are super soft and feel expensive. There's a lot of different sanrio characters so no matter who your favourite you're almost guaranteed an item/s for your favourite.

I legit thought this was a scam at first too. However, I was constantly communicated to about the delay of the advent calendar and even though it was super disappointing for it to be 8 days late, it’s literally the best advent calendar I’ve ever seen. My daughter is obsessed with Sanrio and everyday we are blown away with how amazing the products are. Definitely worth the wait! And she got to open 8 in one day which was exciting for her. Raff is just starting out with his business so show him a little grace as he figures it out. The product is literally the best we’ve seen.

I preordered my 24-day advent calendar in September for my Studio Ghibli loving child. Kinda Kawaii had great communication about the orders and the process, so when there ended up being shipping delays, I knew well in advance not to expect it by 12/1. Due to shipping delays, I did not receive the calendar until 12/12, but is AMAZING. It is such a high quality product, so well made with a lot of attention to detail and a lot of care put into it.

First, it's huge, and the daily boxes are these lovely little drawers with ribbons. The actual items are exciting and varied and high quality. My child is THRILLED. This is the nicest advent calendar I have ever seen. Even though it is late, we are having a great time with it and I am glad we bought it.

Like others I was of course bummed when we did not get it by 12/1, but we did receive many updates and explanations on the situation. It was clear Kinda Kawaii was doing everything they could and that they were crushed that things became so delayed. When I reached out for an update, I got a prompt response that was helpful.

This small company made a beautiful product with a lot of thought and care, and it is unfortunate that there were unforeseen delays along the way, but we are so happy to have the calendar. It is really special.

I just received my Ghibli Advent Calendar. I purchased the 24 day version. It did arrive late! However, the wait was absolutely worth it. This advent calendar is exquisite. I wish I could post pictures. And the company is new... so they had some difficulties getting the product delivered in time. The owner of the company, Raff, is so communicative and eager to set things right. When I tell you this calendar is absolutely incredible - that is an understatement. I want one every year! I opened the first two days of the calendar... a No-Face Ring! And then a light up Totoro! Just so sweet and beautiful! I cherish this advent calendar. If you are still waiting for yours, rest assured it is worth the wait.

I ordered a Studio Ghibli Advent Calendar from Kinda Kawaii. I understand that this is a new item for them this year. It’s true that they experienced some unexpected setbacks with suppliers, customs and shipping, so I didn’t receive the item until December 11. However, I thought that the company did a good job communicating about what was going on, and the calendar was worth waiting for. It’s the nicest Advent calendar we’ve ever had, and my son is thrilled with it. It’s quite sturdy, and each little gift comes in an individual drawer. The gifts inside (that we’ve looked at so far) are cute and good quality. There’s a good variety of types of things inside. They feature different Ghibli movies, not just Spirited Away. My son says that he would be happy to receive any one of the gifts as a stand-alone present. I would definitely order from them again.

I ordered my daughter the advent calendar in October and while there were some shipping issues as far as timing, once it came, we were absolutely impressed with the quality of both the advent calendar box the products came in, but then the individual presents inside of it, as well. It is absolutely stunning and made my daughter’s whole holiday season. She looks forward to opening each box everyday and they keep getting cuter and cuter. I appreciate all of the timely updates and willingness of the owner to keep me posted on what was happening. I will definitely be buying from this company again. We could not be happier! Thank you so much!!!

I also ordered the Sanrio advent calendar months in advance. I understand where everyone is coming from because I too only received it yesterday. I was also frustrated. But once I received it, I could not believe the quality. From the calendar itself, to all of the items my girls opened - we were ALL amazed. These are Sanrio items that I often find myself paying A LOT of money for. These aren't cheap gifts by any means. Also, my girls were ecstatic to open 9 days at once ☺️. I would absolutely purchase this again, even knowing it would come late.

I am so thrilled with the sanrio advent calendar purchase for my daughter… I only wish I purchased MORE! Fantastic company and can’t say enough good things about the sweet surprises that has filled it- so impressive & top quality!

The only reason why I gave a 4/5 is a direct reflection of the shipping company, and NOT kindakawaii (otherwise it'd be a 5/5). Kindakawaii has be nothing but communicative with her customers and being honest with the shipping process. I think its easy to jump to conclusions of "This is a scam", but I personally reached out to Kindakawaii and felt at ease as they ALWAYS responded. I received my advent calender three days after they posted that the calenders were on the move! The holiday seasons are always stressful, but a lil bump in the road made the wait worth it! Plus, when I received the calendar, I was so giddy that I got to open more than one to make up for the days missed (I definitely felt like a kid opening presents on Christmas morning). The calendar is beautifully curated. I do feel bad for the customers who cancelled their order because, like I said before, the wait was worth it! I will definitely be supporting Kindakawaii in the future <3.

I was absolutely blown away by the high quality and thoughtfully chosen gifts inside the first drawers… I had to hop on here to rave about the Sanrio advent calendar. I got a second one to send as a gift! My best friend has been in awe as well watching her daughter get to open each gift too! We loved the high quality, size, and carefully chosen gifts each drawer has. Right when you don’t think one can be topped, blam — Kinda Kawaii beat any advent calendar I’ve ever seen. Y’all on here complaining, I feel so bad for the loved one that didn’t get the calendar because you panicked and canceled. The product is gorgeous and not a scam. You all should be ashamed for harassing a small business that has been completely 100000% transparent the entire process. I personally found the wait more exciting; getting to open multiple gifts the first day. 10/10 highly recommend. I will absolutely be doing business with them again.

The advent calendar was running late but I received a few emails with updates. Since it was due to circumstances beyond the owner’s control, we understood. After patiently waiting, the package arrived! Granted it was 9 days late BUT my kiddo was overjoyed that it arrived and more than happy about opening 9 items at once.

As for the advent calendar itself?? It was WAY more beautiful in person and the once’s my kid got to open showed a lot of variety too.

Can’t wait for next year!

Update: Der Kalender kam am 19.12.24 - immer noch viel zu spät! Auf meine Mails wurde einfach nicht geantwortet und ein Nachlass bis heute nicht Angeboten. Das ist nicht kinderfreundlich !

Der Kalender selbst ist sehr gut verarbeitet und der Inhalt definiv den Preis wert und offensichtlich mit viel Liebe ausgewählt! Der Kalender alleine hat 5 Sterne verdient! Hilft aber nicht, wenn er viel zu spät kommt!

Ein Stern ist eigentlich noch zu viel! Ich habe im Oktober einen Adventskalender bestellt. Versand wurde für Mitte November zugesagt, damit er pünktlich zum 1.12. da ist. Dann kam es zu Verzögerungen, Zusage für den 1. oder 2.12.
Ok, nicht schön aber ok.
Dann wurde eine Trackingnummer geschickt, so das ich dachte es geht endlich los! Dann passierte erstmal gar nichts ein paar Tage und es war mittlerweile schon Dezember. Angeblich wurden die Trackingnummern schon generiert, um den Versandprozess zu beschleunigen.
In meinen Augen fast schon Betrug, damit die Kunden denken es geht endlich los, der Kalender wird verschickt.
Dazwischen immer lange Mail in denen der Shop um Verständnis bittet.
Dieser Kalender hat mich inklusive Versand 210€ ! Euro gekostet. Wir haben den 08.12.24 und er steckt seit 4 Tagen in Houston Texas fest - keine Ahnung warum er von da kommt.
Stornieren geht auch nicht, ist ja schon verschickt!
Danke für nichts!!! Diesen Shop kann ich nicht empfehlen! Ich unterstütze gerne kleine Betriebe, aber auch da sollte man wissen wie viele Produkte man verkaufen kann. Selbst wenn sich Lieferungen verzögern und man nicht rechtzeitig liefern kann sollte man nicht mit einer Trackingnummer einen Versand vortäuschen, um Stornierungen zu verhindern. Das ist alles andere als Kundenfreundlich!
Wirklich traurig, weil viele Kinder keinen Adventskalender bekommen haben!

Absolutely love the Sanrio Advent Calendar so far! The seller had some issues with their shipping provider, but they answered my questions super kindly and promptly. Once the shipping was straightened out, I had my package within two days. I would definitely recommend. It’s beautifully made.

I ordered my daughter’s advent calendar months ago. It says the label is still waiting to be created in Texas. I really wanted to give her something special and paid a lot of money for it. I am ok with waiting but now am paying extra money to try to fulfill another advent calendar in the meantime.
I am really hoping this isn’t a scam and I get taken advantage of.
So it will be a wait and see. I love supporting small businesses but am wondering if they bit off more than they could chew on this one.
Time will tell.

I made an order back in September. I had an issue. I contacted them and they resolved it sharpish. This is both an honest review and a response to the negatives getting bent out of shape over someone trying to resolve an issue out of their control.

I had ordered a Totoro China tea cup. It didn’t arrive. This was frustrating. But instead of lashing out I messaged them and they followed it up. It still hadn’t arrived and they again replied and then finally solved the issue. They accepted the fault (not theirs) and were extremely apologetic.

How many times have you complained and been granted 3 wishes from the big corporations? I guarantee you haven’t but because they have huge financial backing they can take the hit on freebies and refunds. If this is what happens when a small business tries to fix a big issue then it’s clear internet shopping isn’t for you, especially when the product also arrives from out of the country and out of the continent.

It’s refreshing to be treated as a human and not an order number.

I’ve never had an issue with Kinda Kawaii. They have always supported my subscription box cancellation if I struggle one of the months to pay. They also provide beautifully packaged items and amazing quality items too. I would 100% support them as a small business. Keep up the amazing work ♥️
