I picked up a car from that company for my vacation in Palma. During the pickup process in the late evening, I was advised by the not friendly K10 staff to necessarily purchase an additional insurance policy for € 217 instead of a deposit as guarantee - I was told that my existing coverage did not include certain aspects like reimbursement of any damage at the car.
After reviewing my rental agreement in the hotel, I realized that it is absolutely not true what I am told and that I had already booked a full coverage insurance with my original reservation made through AURUM Cars, and that the additional policy was therefore unnecessary and overlapping.
I’ve sent a reclamation and a request to the customer service (of K10 and AURUM as well) to cancel the additional insurance and to receive a refund for the extra amount charged. And that I am of course willing to pay the usual security deposit as guarantee via credit card instead. This is what I always do when I rent a car.
No reaction at all by the Customer Service until today!

DON'T DO IT!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

This is the worst service ever. First of all, you have to get a bus and ride 15min to go to the place where you have to get the car. This was so annyoing my wife and little baby had to wait an hour at the airport until I was back... It was super hard to find the bus even it was all the way behind the parking slots (had to call them twice since I couldn't find it and their english was super bad).

I booked via booking and paid with AMEX. When I wanted to get the car they wanted me to buy the full-insurance for 112€, which I did not want. But they forced me since they did not took my VISA for the deposit and also not my AMEX. So I had to buy the insurance, funny enough then I could pay the 112€ with my VISA :)))))))))

Then 2 months later get a fine from them without any evidences and they charged me another 90€. THIS IS SO BAD. I would highly recommend a good service like SIXT. If you think you are going to save money with the cheaper service, you are wrong trust me.

K10:Der Shuttle hat problemlos geklappt. Am Schalter hat K10 mir dann eine Versicherung untergejubelt,obwohl ich ausdrücklich eine Versicherung abgelehnt hatte. Ich hatte über Check24 gebucht und dort eine Vollkaskoversicherung abgeschlossen. Dann hatte ich online eingecheckt. Am Schalter sollte ich dann die Übergabe des Schlüssels auf einem Display unterschreiben. Diese Unterschrift galt der Versicherung. Ich bekam den Vertrag nicht in Kopie. Er wurde erst vorgelegt, nachdem ich mich bei Check24 beschwert habe. Check24 meinte, ich hätte am Schalter noch eine Versicherung abgeschlossen. Ich werde dort nie wieder buchen. Habe in Gegenwand meiner Mitreisenden Freundin zweimal deutlich gesagt, dass ich eine Vollkasko habe und keine zusätzliche Versicherung will. Fühle mich übels abgezockt. Und Check24 schreibt mir per KI… Auch nicht mehr mein Portal!

Selbst ein Stern ist noch zu viel. Nach einer Woche wurde der Mietwagen ohne Beanstandung zurück gegeben. 2 Tage später bekam ich eine Mail, das Fahrzeug wäre unsachgemäß benutzt worden und es wurden einfach 350 Euro von der Kreditkarte abgebucht. Bis heute wurde nicht erklärt was genau diese unsachgemäße Benutzung sein soll. Abzocke nenne ich das!!!

Bei Abgabe ging Mitarbeiter zielstrebig auf eine Felge zu. Für den Kratzer dort musste ich 485 Euro bezahlen. Das ganze Auto hatte bei Übergabe ca 100 Kratzer.
Dazu wurde er dann extremst unfreundlich und hat uns angeschrien.
Das Geld wurde abgebucht und meine Kaution habe ich bis heute nicht zurück erhalten. Bitte diese Firma unbedingt meiden, das scheint ihr Geschäftsmodell zu sein.

A fuiiiiiiir 👎👎👎👎S’il y avait 0 etoile j allais le faire sans hesitation. C est mediocre et le personnel est nul et impoli (la dame qui est labas et son collegue). On a réservé une voiture et quand on est allés pour la recuperer ils nous ont surpris qu il faut une carte physique au nom du conducteur sachant qu on avait son carte dans Apple Pay et ma carte physique (avec laquelle on a payé sur le site) et du cash !
Malheureusement, aucune solution ne leur convient. Au final ils nous ont dit qu il faut payer 280euros supplementaire non rembousable, c est de l’arnaque. Vers la fin la dame qui etait labas a annulé la transaction sans prendre notre avis.

Meine Kreditkarte funktionierte angeblich nicht. Ich habe seit Jahren die gleiche PIN. Die Visakarte wurde nur mit 400€ akzeptiert. Daraufhin wurde mir eine Vollkaskoversicherung über 180€ und 100€ Kaution angeboten. Das halte ich für eine üble Masche zusätzlich Versicherungen zu verkaufen. Die abgeschlossene Vollkaskoversicherung über DoyouSpain wurde nicht akzeptiert.
Ich kann nur raten- Finger weg!

Absolute Abzocke. Haben nach 14 Tagen Auto vorschriftsmässig ohne Beanstandungen von Seiten K10 pünktlich zurück gegeben. Plötzlich kommt eine Mail, dass ein Schaden nachträglich festgestellt worden wäre, gleich wurden 125,84€ von der Kreditkarte einbehalten.
Nach persönlichem Vorstellen und Beschweren wurden wir abgewimmelt, man wolle den Beteiligten Mitarbeiter am nächsten Tag befragen. Wir waren noch nicht vom Gelände, da kam die ursprüngliche Mail, mit der fingierten Schadensmeldung. Auch über Kontakt im Internet seit einer Woche keine Rückmeldung. Bloss die Finger davon!!!

Never seen such a rental compagnie. Lost 1200 euros for nothing. Nothing. They will make you pay for invisible scratch, or imagined broken piece. They will make you paye without calling you, and they will block you to avoid any exchange.

Our experience with K10 Car Hire was awful. They hit us with numerous unforeseen and unrequested extra costs upon pickup that substantially inflated the initial price, such as charging for an extra driver (unrequested) and hence an extra U25 fee.

Their supposed 'premium' cover/insurance proved utterly worthless. When a minor incident occurred, K10 charged us hundreds of euros for damage we thought was completely covered. Additionally they did not offer to replace the car and we ended up paying for 4 days of service which we did not receive.

Only reason I'm giving 1 star is the car we did actually manage to drive during our holiday was fine.

Finally, their customer service is non-existent. We have attempted contact multiple times via email to resolve these issues, but every single correspondence has been completely ignored. Still waiting for a response....

Also ich muss K10 jetzt mal loben.
Shuttle vom Flughafen und zurück hat super geklappt.
Das Auto war auch sehr gut, hab am Anfang gleich ein Video rings herum gemacht, da es doch ein paar Schrammen hatte.
Die Mietdauer war vom 24.09.25 - 30.09.25.
Kaution von 1750 Euro war gleich wieder gutgeschrieben.
Ich hatte wirklich keine Probleme.
Deswegen eine gute Bewertung. Danke

Wir haben das Auto vorab über Check24 gebucht. Shuttle vom Flughafen zur Mietstation und Übernahme liefen wie am Schnürchen. Ebenso die Rückgabe am Sonntag morgens 6:30 Uhr. Dazu ein wirklich guter Preis. Das Auto hatte 35.000 km auf der Uhr und befand sich in technisch und optisch bestem Zustand. Wir können K10 nur wärmsten empfehlen!

After reading reviews, I skipped past K10 when booking through Zest and decided to pay more for a Zest Recommended provider. Unfortunately they then gave me the booking through K10, I phoned up and spoke to someone and they assured me they hadn’t received any negative reviews with K10 when the extra coverage through zest recommended was purchased. So I went with it.

On arriving at Palma airport the instructions on where to pick the minibus up from wasn’t clear and just plain wrong. After walking around for 40 minutes, we eventually got pointed to the correct place but there was no K10 signs up and the carpark was a free for all, with numerous companies picking up from there with no official queue. Thankfully K10 turned up and there was only us in the bus, so that side of things was fine.

Then we arrived and got told the country doesn’t have facilities for electric vehicles that I had booked. They said that I could switch to a normal car but that would be £100 extra. Why they would hire electric vehicles and at least not have a warning is beyond me. I was told it would take the car 10 hours to charge and the only point to charge it is in Palma and not guaranteed. If it doesn’t come back fully charged there would be a very big fine. I asked how big it would be as they had taken a €130 deposit for fuel and he said he couldn’t guarantee it would be just that and it can be a very big fine because one of their staff has to go and take it to be charged. Eventually we gave in and paid the £100 to upgrade, as it wasn’t possible for us to be able to guarantee a full charge.

Once returning the car we found 5 electric points attached to the same collection building, this was not visible in the middle of the night so we didn’t see it. I was told this way only available for the company to charge. Not customers. I can half understand that but also we were lied to and really pushed panic that one of their drivers would have to take it to be charged off site and the fine would be lots.

On reading reviews since, many companies allow you to return electric vehicles empty, as they understand the infrastructure. K10 instead use it to scare you.

On top of that, they didn’t need any pre checks on the car for insurance. They said we had paid everything so it doesn’t effect us what state the car was in (it was fine, a few dents and scratches) however essentially they will build this up and then whack a bogus insurance claim through on someone when it gets too much. It’s a scam of a company, please do not use them. The reviews are this bad for a reason.

ACHTUNG BETRUG!
Vor Ort wurde meine Kreditkarte angeblich nicht für die Kaution von 1.300 € akzeptiert – egal ob physisch oder virtuell (mehrere Karten von mehreren Anbietern) .Stattdessen wurde ich genötigt, eine zusätzliche Versicherung für 450 € sowie eine weitere Kaution von 100 € zu zahlen. Komischerweise funktionierte dafür meine Kreditkarte plötzlich problemlos. Der Mitarbeiter hat meine Daten manuell übernommen und abgebucht. Keine Alternative, unhöflicher und teils bedrohlicher Umgang. Während meiner Anwesenheit wurden auch andere Kunden auf dieselbe Weise unter Druck gesetzt. Finger weg von diesem Anbieter!

Auto angeblich zwei Stunden zu spät abgegeben 50 Euro , alte Schäden sollten als neue abgerechnet werden. 150 Euro ,
Konnte Gott sei Dank an Hand von Fotos widerlegt werden.
Ähnliche Erfahrungen haben wir bei keiner anderen Autovermietung gemacht.

Ich hatte dort einen Golf über Check24 gemietet bzw mit gebucht. Habe auch im Vorfeld alles angekreuzt und sämtliche Versicherungen abgeschlossen damit nix schief geht ( 1 Woche=200 Euro). Als wir dort ankamen sagte man uns eine virtuelle Kreditkarte wird nicht akzeptiert, wir nehmen nur eine physische. Ende vom Lied ich musste mit der Kreditkarte eines Freundes einen neuen Vertrag abschließen und das nun für 300 Euro. Die 200 Euro wurden nicht angerechnet. Kosten also =500 Euro.

VORSICHT VOR DIESEN BETRÜGERN❗️❗️❗️
Kompletter Scam, wir haben über Check24 gebucht (kompletter Schwachsinn ebenfalls, obwohls eine seriöse Seite sein sollte!!!) und weil unser Flug eine Stunde zu Spät kam, wurden wir nicht vom Abholort abgeholt. Unser Geld war direkt komplett weg. 140€ umsonst bezahlt und mit dem Taxi für 30€ zum Hotel gefahrn, unnötig 170€ vergeudet. Ich habe leider die Bewertungen bei Trustpilot viel zu spät gesehen. Besser ihr mietet euch etwas bei Mallorca Scooter, die sind die besten und haben uns aus der Situation am nächsten Tag direkt geholfen ohne Probleme!!!

Een ster is nog te veel. Niet doen dit zijn echt oplichters. Zoeken een schade die je zelf niet hebt gemaakt ook al kun je dat bewijzen met een video. Wees echt gewaarschuwd want huren bij K10 gaat je sowieso honderden euro’s extra geld kosten (of je neemt een extra verzekering of ze zoeken een manier hoe ze je anders geld in rekening kunnen brengen) slechtste ervaring ooit. En dan nog niet eens gehad over wachttijden om je auto te krijgen: meer dan 2 uur!!
