He broke everything down for me and was also very funny and accommodating. He welcomed me into the iDeal family with open arms. I got a great rate and great coverage.

I've been trying to have my 2015 Ford Expedition AC repaired has been an EXTREMELY bad experience with your company. On Wednesday May 26, 2021, Lorenzo Ford Dealership went to the company for the repair of the AC on my vehicle. It was then determined that the company weren’t going to pay for the entire repair and two was having the actual part ship to the dealership. At this time, I was told that it will take between 3 to 5 days for it to be shipped to the dealership. Fast forward today June 9, 2021 and the part has yet to make its way to the dealership. I honestly believed that you all were taking the cheap route to have my vehicle repaired and my wife is having a difficult time driving with an EXTREMELY hot vehicle. If I count the days, it has now been 9 days and the part has yet to make it to the dealership. I would appreciate a phone call from a manager/supervisor to give me a call to explain... 1. Why the claim was not paid in full and 2. Why is it taking so long for a part that I’m assuming is being ship within the US is taking so long to be deliver in the US. I'm on record to say this is not all the Warranty company fault but they do have some blame in my bad experience of attempting to have my vehicle repaired. I will be waiting on a phone call for a manager or supervisor.

I was told by a representative in the claims department that if the overdue part does not come to the dealership by the close of business yesterday that he would call the dealership and authorized them to get the part. Also, a supervisor called me on yesterday and stated that if the part does not come to the dealership by the closed of business yesterday, he would have a part overnighted. I told him about his subordinate said and he then stated one or the other. I also complained about how no one actually calls me to keep me up to date and he reassured me that he would personally keep me up to date. I had to called the dealership today and they told me that the part did not come in. I called the same claims representative and told him the part did not come in, he then changes the story to have the dealership called him. EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE. I just want my vehicle repaired.

Update:

Now I have a supervisor (Grashard) just called me, to threatened me that he will NOT pay on a claim on a warranty service that I have already paid in full to this company until I removed this review. I called this poor customer service and bullying. He is worried more about how this review looks then my truck getting repaired.

SCAM! I purchased a plan on 5/18/20 and canceled it on 11/24/20 as of 6/8/21 and at least 7 attempts they will not refund me what they owe. Every time I call they tell me they are issuing the refund and it never comes. Unfortunately I did not do my homework well enough before this purchase, if you look on Yelp or any other reputable site they only have 1 star/ very bad reviews. I hope this review will help someone not get scammed!

I signed up for a plan about a year ago with Alex, the process was painless, no pushy salesperson tactics, in fact, I found them to be knowledgeable and courteous. They explained all the coverage options to me to so I can make the best choice when selecting my coverage plan.

Skip forward a year and while we all hope not to have issues with our car I was not so fortunate and it was time to see how they handle a claim. They were very professional, understood my issue, and helped me get my claim sorted out quickly. I was also able to use my local repair shop, which was nice. Other than my deductible the claim was fully covered.

I will continue to do business with ideal auto protect as they have proven themselves to be a reliable company.
