HX Car Park Management Omdömen 

This is the worst company ever. That it is allowed to trade legally is a disgrace. Parked in Spanish City Whitley Bay, paid via Ringo as per the nearest display. Then received the most threatening letter demanding £100. The letter was worded as if I had committed a mass murder. There was no one I could phone, and the threat of legal action and hundreds of more funds in fines was appalling. I can't believe Whitley Bay Council are using this bunch of thieves. Everyone should get together and take legal action against HX.

We parked in the wrong car park at the Spanish City Whitley Bay and paid Ring Go. Got a notice to pay a fine even if they did not send the original notice and could not appeal. Why do they have similar car parks In Whitley Bay without a sign.

My 82 year old Mum's car broke down in November 2024 which was controlled under HX car park management. I called out the RAC for my Mum who attended and replaced the car battery at the high cost of £155. Whilst waiting for the RAC and repair she went over the parking time allowed. I appealed to HX first who declined and then to a third party company who also declined. My Mum now has a bill for £170 which has caused her huge anxiety and stress over something she wasn't in control or fault. To make matters worse it was a freezing cold day and my Dad who is 84 had to sit in a freezing cold car waiting for the RAC who is poorly with heart failure. Having finally received another letter to pay or worry further about court proceedings i have reluctantly paid this. Surely this isn't morally right.

Definitely a bit of a con. They do not put the correct signage up to state you will be fined, they put the sign up about a mile across the car park lol

Scum. Sneak out out of their little cars and take a picture of your car. £60 5 minutes. Legalised criminals.

Absolute parasites , I was just over the line ,wasn't parked in disabled ,wasn't hindering anybody ,I would love to get my hands on the person's responsible for this .

Parked in disabled bay put up badge like you do and then get a fine if you havnt used this carpark before and don't know the workings of it as I didn't see anything say I had to put details in a machine ? New to me surly the machine should be put at disabled bays not at the far end were you had to walk to ?? It's not rocket science 🙄

This is terrible company I have seen in my life. I parked on of their car park, however I paid car fee with wrong car reg number.( I have a couple of number plates in my system). I tried to explain to them with all prove invoice. Do not want to listen, then put me on solicitor make me pay £160.

Scammers. Pay2park website they direct you to takes your money but sends no receipt then you get a fine

I used the petrol station at SalterHebble shell garage next to McDonald's in Halifax I have proof of purchase, once using the pumps I moved out the way to let someone else use the pump and parked at the side and waited for my wife to get her coffee.
When I Spoke to the guy at HX carparks he said in a cocky attitude ,why did you pull off the pump, i said to be nice and let the people behind me use the pump.
His reply was ,well its your own fault then.
how can a company employ such rude and cocky staff. they were not willing to take anything into consideration.
I will never ever use that petrol station or McDonalds in Salterhebble ever again. I hope other people see this and see what CROOKS HX CAR PARK MANAGEMENT are.
I am now having to pay this fine to avoid going to court.

This company are a disgrace and part of the reason our town centres are in decline. I am unable to give them no stars so have to give them one.
I went to buy two suitcases at a local shop, when I got there I was not sure if the ones on offer were any bigger than mine so I left my wife in the shop and returned home to measure mine. I returned to the shop 25 minutes later and bought them at a cost of over £100.
I went on holiday and returned to find a letter demanding £60 for returning to the car park within 30 minutes.
This was not stated on the entrance signs but in small print on signage within the car park. My understanding was that this was to stop people parking for 2 hours free going out and coming back again, not to target genuine shoppers who do actually exist.
I appealed the fine and hoped that common sense and decency would prevail however this was a forlorn hope.
I have paid the fine against my better judgement but will not be using this car park again.
No doubt I will receive the standard Dear John reply to my comments as it is impossible to speak to a human being about this.
Please be aware of this unfair clause when parking in one of these car parks

I think charging Blue Badge Holders is a disgrace, and then not displaying the signs near the disabled bays so that blue badge holders can see them. I am extremely disappointed that North Tyneside Council has made the decision to use such an unscrupulous company to manage the car park of one of their most prestigious sites. I will be sharing my views with North Tyneside Council

Absolutely disgraceful company - only wanting to get money out of disabled people by deception!
Parked in a car park - got parking receipt as proof of parking - then 2 weeks later they send a parking charge notice saying I hadn’t paid!!! Ken was no help when I called to sort it. Arrogant. Lodged appeal and will fight it all the way if needed!!!

Despite evidence provided for paid parking (ticket and online) the appeal was rejected. They offered a smaller fine which for me which ordinarily is admitting a mistake on their part.

The one place I thought I would be safe to park is next in Halifax. Turns out not. Parked in a parent and child bay,wheel was slightly over the line only onto the crossed section been fined. Received a letter saying I have to pay £100 and I can’t appeal as I didn’t respond to the first letter. I never received any other letter this is my first communication from them,this seems to be a theme with them saying you’ve not responded to them when in reality they haven’t tried contacting you. Absolute disgraceful scummy fraudulent creatures

Just so that people are aware and can use the info in appeals, the people that direct this company also are linked to 2 others - ES Parking Enforcement and Pay2Park. Cannot find much on Pay2Park, but the reviews for ES read very much like this. And they are all registered at the same address (City House, 131 Friargate, Preston, Lancs. PR1 2EF). I am currently putting together a document with all the info and looking at the codes of conduct that the International Parking Community (who they are registered with) are saying. 10 minutes Grace period is outlined in section 13 of the document. Also, they are advertising as also being accredited with the British Parking Association, however on the BPA site, they are not listed - false advertising. They are fining my friend who pulled over (did not turn off or leave the car, not blocking traffic) as her son began having an asthma attack and she needed to get his inhaler for him, preventing a likely hospital visit.
I don't know whether you can comment on review left here, however I am happy to share this document of their failings with anyone who wants it.

Hi all, sadly we have become yet another victim of these guys. It's a shame as the Willowbrook Centre is a nice shopping area but will loose us as a customer. My wife is a caring grandmother and she was simply trying to look after our 18mth old grandkid; she thought she was using a parent and child bay but picked up the dispicable £100 fine as she inadvertenly used a disabled bay. I suppose the rtlrs don't realise they have employed a company that stedfastly continue to destroy thier reputation but there you go.

Disgraceful and despicable company. Parked, paid for parking, didn't overstay or anything. 6 weeks later I've received a second notice (I never received a first notice) to say that I was liable to pay £100. I have since appealed with my proof of payment. They're demanding £60 by saying my registration plate was not entered correctly to validate the parking. What's worse is I will no longer visit this business or it's car park because of the despicable car park management firm.

Total rip off and money making scam, will actively avoid HX car parks going forward.

Also, appeals process is a waste of time - all predetermined and biased towards operators.
