Excellent Service
I had made a mistake on my order and only noticed this after having payed. Your chap was very understanding and changed the order and refunded the excess amount. Also, as it is a birthday present the company will deliver the order itself, instead of using a carrier, who may or may not get the delivery date right.

Exceptional quality and service
House of Townend has been our wine supplier for our restaurants for almost 20 years.
They have the best quality wines all from small independent vineyards. The reasons why we are still with them after all these years is due to their exceptional quality wines, consistent excellent customer service from the sales side aswell as the delivery service.
I would recommend House of Townend.

Never again
APC courier delivered wine to wring address. That's not disputed by HOT but after initial acceptance they've gone radio silent, emails ignored and 4 days on no refund or replacement wine. Avoid.

We are sorry that you are so unhappy. We use a third-party carrier company for our national deliveries and whilst they are very reliable most of the time, it is unfortunate that things do occasionally go wrong and we are very sorry that your order was one of them. We accept that our carrier company is an extenuation of our business and therefore once you contacted us about the delivery we got straight onto APC to find out what had happened and sort the issue out. We kept in touch with you, responding to your emails, (apart from over the weekend when we do not operate) and keeping you up to date on where we were with recovering your wine. You did then receive your wine, delivered personally by a member of House of Townend staff. We appreciate all customer feedback, both positive and negative, so thank you for getting in touch.
