Always a joy to receive
Always a joy to receive. It's like Christmas once a month. You get to try some different products you might otherwise not buy. Sometimes there are items I really don't want but I always know someone who will enjoy it and then I have the joy of giving someone a little gift that brightens their day. There are products I have loved so much I have started to buy them. This is what it is all about.

I had two boxes, both were awful.
Doubles in the box. Items the same in both boxes.
For example I had ketchup and mentos etc in first box, then received them again in second box.
Nothing like the photos advertised

Not even worth delivery fee only
Wish i had checked here first, got a super discounted first box and i would still consider it a rip off. In the whole box there was 1 singular snack of 6 (yes actually only 6) chocolate covered almonds.
Do not recommend it’s mostly junk stock that they probably buy cheap and try and get rid off. I also had a split product but that was likely due to shipping.
I also did some quick checking across supermarkets and i could get all of these products under £30 based on current online prices and deals.

Not what I was expecting at all
Not what I was expecting at all. The marketing suggests these are a snack box, I thought it would be nice to have the surprise element and try new things. What came was a bizarre selection of uninspiring food and drinks. Value wise the promotional box is OK. Black noodles, ketchup, a triple pack of mentos, fizzy worms, a jar of chickpeas, 0% lager, harissa spice pot and chickpea crisps were some of the contents. Needless to say I won't be reordering!

I see this has a lot of negative reviews so I'll give my honest review. I signed up for 1 year and have received a few boxes and I'm happy with what I've got. Yes, you may get a few things you 'won't' use but that's what you sign up for is to receive different things as a 'surprise'. If you don't want black noodles, then maybe learn to cook something with them! If you want to get the things you only want, then go to the supermarket and buy them. Yes, there should be an better option to tick items you really don't want to receive like alcohol or children's foods and maybe not receive two ketchups in a row, so Yummy have to review that procedure. So do I recommend it?-YES I do and look forward to your surprise box every month.

I've had a look into this for you and can see that one of our wonderful customer service team has already replied to your email and cancelled your subscription for you via email.
I can see you accidentally created two subscriptions with us, which is why you were charged twice for September. Our customer service team have already cancelled the duplicate subscription for you, as well as cancelling and refunding your duplicate order. The standard timeframe for refunds is 5-7 working days.
If there is anything else you needed help with, or did not receive this response, please get back in touch and we will do everything we can to help.
Having had these boxes for over a year…
Having had these boxes for over a year I am becoming more disappointed each month. So much repetition and, unfortunately, of products I will never use. 3 tomato ketchups in 4 months that I won't use, mentos 3 times in 4 months, no kids.
Coffee pods for a specific coffee machine which nobody I know uses.
I know I have allergies and always expect to pass on anything containing these products but with this box over half will be passed on.
When it comes to the monthly review there is no option to say not tried or some similar wording. I put a 0 if I can't use it.

This had the chance to be a really good subscription but instead they are just ripping you off. In the October box there was some complete garbage included such as a Ketchup Bottle, Jar of chickpeas, Harrisa Spice, Black rice noodles and Avacado Siracha sauce. Not sure how any of that can be counted as a snack clearly they are just adding random useless things to hit the "£35" cost of the box. I have requested immediate cancellation. Even the discounted intro price feels wasted. Also you can't return a box after you opened it so you are stuck with the useless contents of it as well otherwise I would have returned it for a refund.

Order not received
Order not received. Tracking number said parcel was delivered to Bolton. I live in London. I have contacted Customer Service via email three days in a row and have not had a response. Therefore, I have not recieved a refund or had subscription cancelled. Extremely disappointing experience. I signed up to this service as I’ve just got out of hospital and I’m recovering surgery. It’s added stress trying to resolve something and not being acknowledged.

Interesting box of treats to sample!
I am a new customer to Hello Yummy Box who on seeing an advert on Facebook was eager to give it a go!
In honesty I believe you have to be a little bit open minded when ordering this, in that it is a given that you may not love everything in the box! But it is a great way to try new products, products that you may otherwise fail to try. Also all the family found something in the box they wanted to taste. The concept is great and I really enjoyed recieving my box. It was fun opening it and my teenage daughter was keen to help.
Inside the box was a variety of snacks, sweet treats and drinks. The coconut milk will be happily added to our morning smoothies, the oat bars were yummy, the chocolate orange almonds were amazing.
The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because I do not have a coffee machine that I can use the pods in. I shall have to pass them on to a friend and taste them at her house. I am hoping that coffee pods do not feature as a regular thing! That could sway me more to 3 stars.
The only other slightly disappointing factor was the fact that we did not receive the Lucky dip item which we were a bit gutted about! We were sent an additional swap one not as exciting as what was advertised so do not look at the list of goodies first!
I am hopeful that there will be more yummy items to sample next month.

Sadly, save your pennies :(
Hello yummy box is a great idea, so we ordered the promotional box and got free delivery. But what a big let down, the box claims to give you £35 worth of products for the £15.99 (regular price) or £8.99 (promotion) but I would save your pennies.
Sadly most items were drink products and vegan bars, and there seems to be a going trend with reviews below where people are receiving expensive coffee pods for a specific machine. Which in my mind is ludicrous and wasteful as they can’t be used. I looked to sending the box back and Betsy was a big help, but sadly the box weighs 2.7kg due to the ‘free from’ carton of milk, grapefruit soda and Leon ketchup, that is would cost £5 to return. Sad, as poor reviews does effect a small business, but maybe consideration to offer ‘yummy’ generic products shown on your social post would go down better.
