Good range of snacks
Happy with the first box, I've had various subscription boxes and they are a nice way of trying new things. No problems with the delivery or customer service.

I was looking for something different…
I was looking for something different when Yummy Box came up in the search. Very good value for money. Well what can I say, I am delighted. Most items I not tried previously so it was a great opportunity to taste new foods ith my family. There are now several products on our weekly shopping. There are a few products I have not fancied but my husband & son were more than happy try
I needed to contact Customer Services which was a really helpful experience & rectified in a very timely manner.
I signed up for a few months so when the time comes I will be continuing my subscription

Update on my customer service experience having complained about the poor contents of my first Yummy box, in addition to my product review
Furthermore in addition to my review of the contents below, I'm *still* chasing them to ensure they've cancelled my second box payment even though I gave them instance notice of cancellation as soon as they'd finally sent me the first box I ordered several weeks after ordered in it with no update (which I also had to chase them for). So far I've had to send three emails/customer forms to get them to even respond. In their response just now they didn't directly answer *any* of my questions properly, they didn't take any of my concerns seriously, and just copied & pasted the last half of the email so it didn't match the first half of their email or my actual complaints. They didn't open a complaint and/or resolve it properly as retailers usually do, they ignored my expressing concern about having to chase them, and that I was explicitly wishing to make a formal complaint. The customer service agent who replied to me was Rosie & she was mainly concerned with telling me off for saying 'rude' things about their products (!) - it was utterly bizarre. If course I'm saying rude thing Rosie I'm extremely unhappy about their quality that is the whole point I'm trying to communicate, that is just huw bad they are. They seem to have extremely poor customer relations standards both in response times & replying properly & seem to not care if you are concerned or unhappy about what you've been sent at all!? It's pretty shocking really considering it's a food box subscription service - you need to send out food people might actually like guys?!. This all leads me to believe they're happy to take your initial payment even if you don't want their products, they do not offer you a chance to return said products and seem to ignore your requests at complaining and requesting a refund - which is extremely worrying practice for an online subscription retailer. It seems very suspicious to me if this is the usual service people receive. I already had to contact them twice before I even received my box because they were late taking the payment compared to the day I ordered it. Whole experience from beginning to end was a nightmare and nothing like their adverts!
Initial product review:
They sent me a load of rubbish for a £15 per month subscription. Nothing unusual or nice or new to try, literally sent a tub of plain salt, plain peanut butter, plain, basic honey nut muesli, no sugar uht milk carton, alcohol free beer can & a few tortilla wraps - for £15 a month! There was a very small flapjack too plus a small drink can & basic vitamin water. I've asked for a refund! This is a joke! What is the point of a snack box where they send you below basic cupboard ingredients like salt and uht milk - what an I supposed to do make a salt filled tortilla wrap & dip it in no sugar milk? I supposed I can make the world's most cardboard breakfast with my plain muesli & no sugar uht milk? Where are the actual nice things here?

Poor customer service
The boxes were ok, not great, but customer service has been really poor. There is no option to cancel subs via the website, you have to email them. I had an email from yummy box that implied I just had to cancel by the 1st of the month to not get that box, when I did this I was told it was the 24th of the previous month and I am being charged for a box I don’t want - I’m sure this could have been resolved but no one seemed willing to do that

I can see that the situation has now been resolved with yourself and your subscription cancelled as requested.
We try to make our cancellation policy clear throughout the sign up process and via our FAQ section on our website and can see no previous communications where we state our cancellation deadline is the 1st of the month, but we apologise for any confusion you have had surrounding this.

Not exactly yummy
Attempted to cancel subsequent boxes after receipt of first box, but was told that this request would have to be submitted before this has even been received, which seems ridiculous.
Received second box today, really disappointed with contents and not worth the price. We had signed up to yummy box to try out some treats and snacks that we hadn't purchased before, but instead received muesli (2 boxes in a row), alcohol free beer(2 boxes in a row), a bottle of milk substitute, none of which really constitute tasty treats or things we would want/consume. We received a few items we would regularly buy but nothing exciting and things we already had in (protein wraps, salt, hazelnut spread). Then a few items that sounded interesting, (apple and almond bakes, beanut butter bites) bug the packs received of these were ridiculously small (basically just one mouthful). Therefore we definitely would not be purchasing again.

Very short dates - disappointing
The boxes are a fun experience, but I have bought a few now where most of the products are so close to being out of date that it just isn't worth it! For £15.99 I would expect much better. Not overly impressed as this has been the case with a few boxes.

I enjoy the boxes but it us disappointing to receive numerous amounts of the same items(the problem is if you dont like 1 item your not going to like 3 packs of them so doesnt justify the price)

Terrible company - poor customer service
Box arrived smashed and wet so most of the products were ruined. They said they would send a replacement but no sign of it and I can’t get any response to my emails. Terrible customer service so cancelling immediately.

The dried fruits were plump and juicy, while the nuts were crunchy and fresh. I also loved their selection of teas and coffees—perfect for my afternoon pick-me-up. The customer service was another highlight; they reached out to confirm my order and made sure I was happy with everything. What a disappointment
What a disappointment. The products included don’t justify half the cost of a box. You’re also forced into paying for a second box before receiving the first. Terrible ethics from this company. I doubt they’ll be around for long.

In terms of cancellations, as mentioned in our terms & conditions and FAQ page, cancellations must be made before the 24th of the month. We have already cancelled and resolved this for you.

Not what I was hoping for
I was hoping for snacks and drinks we can share as a family snd lots of different thibgs.
We have received 3 boxes so far. The last one contained water!! And tea that I've had before and crisp/puff things that I had before but different flavour. So not impressed so far. I've signed up for 12 months hopefully they get better.
