Not great. They cancelled my subscription in error. The customer service rep was rather unpleasant really; touchy, personal and not very professional. Wouldn’t want to deal with them again

HEAVY box, but not in a good way.
Not a great start when you receive 'lovely snacks' like a huge tub of LO SALT, (I thought the box must have been filled with goodies when I picked it up), a cardboard box of baked beans, and a pack of 4 tortilla wraps that expire in 6 days...
NOT quite what I was expecting....but even worse, on cancellation (not easy, you can't do it yourself and have to email them and then make sure they confirm it, a slow process and a bit of a pfaff, which is another red flag 🚩
You then find that your first box was delivered AFTER their cut off point for cancellation (how or why would you cancel something BEFORE you get it?) And so you are forced to accept and pay for another box. 🚩
Yes, I'm sure it probably is in the extra small print t & c's somewhere about delivery dates and cancellation periods etc, but it certainly wasn't clear on signing up, and I like to think that I'm someone who reads into things.
Personally I'll NEVER try Hello Yummy Box again, no matter how tempting the offer or ad may seem....I prefer companies that make it easy to pause, or cancel your subscription, and give clear details about when to cancel by to avoid paying for something that's not your thing.
Definitely NOT worth the money either, I could find nicer snacks with better dates for less ££.

Salt and baked beans?!
Delicious snack boxes included salt and baked beans apparently.
I ordered a box after seeing all the great things advertised on the website... I did get a few decent products, but definitely not worth the money they suggest it's worth. However the most mind-blowing thing of all is that this snack box legitimately sent me salt and baked beans... Really? A pack of salt, and a pack of baked beans.
Still waiting for them to cancel. You can't just cancel yourself. You have to email them - and of course they try to get you to stay with another offer. Fortunately, I blocked them via my bank, so even if they decide to not cancel my subscription, they won't get my money.
Avoid them. Shady when a company doesn't allow you to cancel yourself - IE you have to contact them. You can't actually manage your subscription yourself.

Due to the surprise nature of our boxes, you may from time to time find a item that's not to your personal taste, and we'd always recommend sharing these with friends or family or donating to your local food bank if unopened :)
We're glad you did find some products you enjoyed in your box and hope that you will give Hello Yummy box another go in the future!
not worth it
They claim that the contents of the box is worth £35 or more, but there's no way I would even pay £10 for that in the shops. My first box arrived damaged, and when I emailed to cancel, they tried to get me to buy another at a discount.

This was resolved after several communications.
Unreliable. I can't prevent the June box from going missing because I can't track it. The website doesn't recognise the email address that they are contacting me with, or allow me to reset my password. I keep emailing asking for confirmation of delivery dates, pointing out that I can't log in, and asking them to cancel. They keep offering me a discount. No. I have stated I wish to CANCEL.

Ordered the first box which was full of interesting things that I could also share with my family. Emailed customer service and they responded quite swiftly. Decided to have a box every other month - so will see what the next one brings. On the whole a varied amount of items being offered.

Nothing but hassle
Nothing but hassle, they expect me to get to Wigan from Wrexham to collect my box as I wasn’t in on delivery sorry but I am busy on weekends not that I need explain myself!
They make it so hard to cancel, I don’t want emails back and forth cancel the damn thing like i requested

After several attempts to deliver your box to your address, the courier service delivered it to your nearest depot. £50 box (probably worth £5)
1st box for reduced price was great, lots of nice things and a few unusual things to try. Ordered the “special” one off box for the price of £20 down from £50 and would be amazed if it was even worth £10. I guess they suck you in with the 1st box, make it really difficult to leave and then try scam you with the subsequent boxes.

This box is available outside of our subscription model, available to purchase as an added extra in addition to your monthly boxes if you wish. The contents of this box is also pictured on our website so you can see what you'll get before you buy.

It really isn’t worth it
First box was a novelty but even then I emailed to cancel subscription & offered discounted rate to stay for a second box. This second box was so disappointing. I emailed on 25/05/25 to cancel & advised the cut off point was midnight 24/05/25 so I would be getting a third box of useless stuff for an over priced £15:99

I had an exceptional experience with Hello Yummy Box. Over the course of a year, I was introduced to numerous fantastic brands and products that I continue to use today. Each item arrived well-packaged, and I appreciated that 9 out of 10 products were full-sized. The communication was top-notch; I was consistently updated on the status and delivery of my box. Although I decided to cancel my subscription after a year, I look forward to rejoining in the future.

Great little box of delights. Just find receiving them a slow process, heres waiting to seeing what next month has in store, I noticed payment was due before, I'd received. Thankfully it arrived the day after.

The products and customer service are amazing! I look forward to my monthly boxes every month and get super excited to find out what surprises I will find in there! I wouldn’t recommend this box if you are a fussy eater as the boxes include lots of different products every month, if I don’t like something I just share it with my family but I usually love everything. I get to discover products I never knew about before and it has become a staple in my food shopping list.

Great customer service
Although it’s not easy to cancel or alter a subscription online, email response is as quick and efficient, so I can only praise the customer service. The quality of goods I the boxes is good. Not everything was to my taste, but it’s good to know what I might or might not want to buy more of.

Received my first box and granted some things are not for me but I did receive some really nice products and they were delicious. I can give the things I do not use away to family. Love the idea of the surprise!!! It was worth the money as the products were good quality.

*Edit re the response I received below! Initially they said they would refund me as a "gesture of goodwill" however when they realised I had taken it up with my bank, they got quite snotty in the emails saying that it could be classed as fraud me asking the bank to solve the issue! I am honestly not sure how this company keeps running, the products are not worth £5 never mind £15.99 and their customer service is both threatening and diabolical! *
I would give it zero stars if I could!
I cancelled my subscription as soon as I received my February box (meaning I cancelled it ONE MONTH before my next box was due!)
Apparently this is not enough notice and my payment came out......who takes payment for goods that won't be delivered for another month!!
Communication is NIL so I have disputed the charge with my bank.
Disgraceful company.....

I can see that your request to cancel your subscription was sent to us after our cancellation deadline meaning you were charged for a second box in line with our payment schedules which you can find on our FAQ page.
I can also see that on receipt of your email our customer support team happily refunded the charge for your second box and cancelled your subscription as requested, as a gesture of goodwill.
We thank you for your patience in waiting for a response from us. I can see your emails were sent through to us on the weekend and our Customer Support is available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, which may be why you experienced a delay in receiving a response from us. However I can see the team got back to you within our promised 48 hours response window.
We hope you enjoyed the contents of the first box that you did receive and hope that you will consider giving Hello Yummy another try in the future.

Fun foodie subscription & happy customer!
I started my subscription due to an offer and wasn’t expecting to keep it going, but have been amazed by the contents of each box. It’s not just snacks - you also get items you can cook and jazz up your meals with.
As a foodie this is one of my favourite subscriptions and I get excited each time I receive this.
The price is reasonable given it includes delivery and you get to try lots of new smaller brands.
Payment and delivery have always been smooth, and customer support team have been nothing but helpful.
The only things I’ve not really enjoyed are the alcohol free wine/beer, as I don’t really have a use for them - everything else has been brilliant.
I would recommend this to anyone, and I hope this startup keeps growing and getting better!

An adventure in tastes
This is quite fun, a bit like a Beer 52 subscription, but you're getting stuff that's actually good for you (and the occasional beer!). It's a nice way to discover new brands and foodstuffs, and there's usually a good balance of vegan and non-vegan goodies. I'm pretty sure the contents are worth more than the subscription fee. Recent highlights include a bottle of alcohol-free wine, a selection of premium honeys, posh chocolate spread, and fluffy vegan marshmallows.
