Plants are in & settled in well
Plants are in & settled in well. Looking forward to seeing them doing their thing next summer.
The only down side was Royal Mail delivered them 24hrs later than expected & the hydrangea looked a bit sad. It has perked up now with watering & subsequent rain but I do wonder what the plants would have been like had this been during the hotter drier weather?

We’re sorry that the delivery was delayed by Royal Mail by 24 hours, and we completely understand your concern regarding the hydrangea arriving looking a little sad. Thankfully, it’s great to hear that it has perked up with some watering and rain.
We always take great care when preparing and dispatching our plants, but unfortunately, once they’re with the courier, delivery times can occasionally be outside of our control. We appreciate your point about how this could have affected the plants during hotter, drier weather, and we’ll certainly keep this in mind when reviewing our delivery arrangements.

Arrived well packaged considering it…
Arrived well packaged considering it was three decent sized dahlias and courier had box on its side. Once opened, quite a few side shoots were damaged, but on the whole plants are survivable . At least I know next year the tubers will produce new growth from the base , which was the reason I took the chance to buy this variety so late in the season, anyway.

We’re sorry to hear that some of the side shoots were damaged during transit. Unfortunately, plants can sometimes experience movement and damage while being handled by couriers, despite being carefully packed.
As you mentioned, the tubers should produce fresh growth from the base, so we hope they establish well and give you plenty of new growth next season. Thank you for taking a chance on this variety so late in the season, and we hope you enjoy seeing it thrive in the years ahead.

The plug plants arrived
The plug plants arrived, well packed and quite safe but thee plants looked a little frail.
After watering I planted them in small pots and they are looking better and healthier, hopefully that will continue.

Healthy Grums
I ordered 3 Geums beginning of June. I was worried, with the periods of hot weather, that the plants wouldn’t survive the transit. However, when I looked on my account, Hayloft stated that plants wouldn’t be dispatched during the hot weather conditions. I received healthy plants second week in September. Although I will not see the beauty of them this season, I look forward to next year’s display.

Poor customer service
I ordered 5 Avalanche Clematis plants way back in June, which I was expecting to receive fairly soon after. I was never told that it would be three months before my order would be delivered. I was eventually given a delivery date of 21st August. This date came and went with no notification or apology to me the customer. I was in touch with Hayloft to ask where my order was and another date was proposed. That date fell in the middle of my week away from home on holiday so it was arranged that delivery would happen when I had returned home, which it did. What struck me most was the complete lack of information. I was the one who had to keep phoning to ask where my plants were. I feel there is a serious lack of customer care. I won't be buying from this company again.

Not a terrible experience however 3 of the penstemon plants were DOA. I was very busy at time, I probably should have notified the company at the time but didn't get around to it.

Unfortunately the delivery let them down due to live plants being thrown over the back gate even though I’d said to come to front door
Rang customer service and they sent out replacements next day and informed me that they are changing their delivery company
Very apologetic excellent customer service
