Unresponsive to returns, company requires customers to ship back at cost, and product is low quality

The sizing isn’t right compared to all other shops, the jacket ordered was far too small.

Took an eternity to arrive and battered when they did.

I rarely make comments but I would be very careful using this company. First of all as others have commented the product is sourced from China and the returns have to got there. I had originally tried to cancel my order the day after having seen other TrustPilot comments (which the website intimates you are allowed to do). But no response and the product eventually arrived. Customer service is poor and I just feel misled. £50 down the pan and will never use again or recommend.

Awful paid £40 for a shorts and T-shirt set and they do not match the picture online they look very cheap with bad sizing I ordered the large and it’s more like an extra small but due to not opening as they were a birthday present they are out of the return time frame ,even though they don’t match online pictures

Emailed your site for returns have had no response also tried calling number on the website no answer, service after care very poor

I recently bought a black minimalist backpack for my son at university. After the first use ( it contained a laptop, a pencil case and a note pad), the seam of the inside pocket gave up and the zip to the main pocket too. I repaired the zip but it broke again the next day. I am disappointed by the quality and will seek reimbursement.
I am offered 50% reimbursement for a bag I cannot use, this is the response from Harrington Oxford:

We understand your concerns regarding the bag and your reference to the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We would like to clarify that the bag was used by you before the reported damage occurred. The fact that an item subsequently develops an issue does not, by itself, establish that it was faulty or did not conform to the contract at the time of delivery.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, statutory remedies apply where goods are not in conformity with the contract, including where they are not of satisfactory quality or do not match their description. The Act also provides for repair or replacement and, where the relevant conditions are met, a price reduction or final right to reject.
In this case, we would therefore need to establish that the reported damage constitutes a lack of conformity rather than damage arising after the item had been used.

Worst company I have had dealings with.
You would think that as the name is Harrington Oxford and based in the UK in fact they are in China.
I had repeatedly tried to get a refund only to be told had to send back to China at my expense.
Do not buy from this company.

I am currently waiting for the returns address to be emailed to me, as the quality of the goods I received is extremely poor and far below what I expected for the inflated price.

The items are of very cheap quality and, based on the impression given on your website, I was led to believe that they were made in the UK. This does not appear to be the case.

I am therefore requesting a full refund. Please send me the correct returns address and instructions as soon as possible so I can return the goods.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase and would appreciate this being resolved promptly.

I was very disappointed to find my order came from China. I had ordered it as a special gift and assumed it was coming from Oxford and was made in the UK.
Once I started tracking the delivery I realised there was a good chance it wouldn't arrive in time so I contacted the team to see what could be done.
It did arrive within minutes of me leaving for the event. But I didn't have chance to press it. It arrived horribly creased.
So I doubt I will be ordering from you again.

Garment seemed OK, but not what I wanted so I am trying to return it. Absolutely *TERRIBLE* returns process. The only way to initiate a return is by contacting them direct, and over the last week I have emailed (no answer) and called (no answer) and sent a text (no answer). Feels like they are trying to make returns too difficult to bother with. I am amazed this company can survive with this level of customer service.

Very poor quality of clothing. Returned everything I ordered

I ordered a large jacket (my usual size) and that was on the label, but what was delivered was so small I couldn't do up the buttons. Hence it was unusable.

Ordered a size 33 waist and received a size 29 marked up as a 33
Emailed for exchange and was offered a 50%discount on my next order
Asked if I ordered another pair can you grantee the correct sizing
Answer was no.

Its a scam, send you any old unwearable rubbish after three weeks, then returns have to be sent to some unlikely factory address in China at your own cost. If you squeak they offer you 20% refund (so they make the other 80 having sent you something that probably didn’t cost them anything).

Waited for delivery as it comes from China. When it arrived looked nothing like the picture and the fabric was very thin. The button on the trousers was also missing I am currently waiting to see where I need to return the item and to have a full refund. Will not be back to this website again.

Actually found the bag a bit too small may be the image was misleading or I did not care to search for details before purchasing. The finishing and matetial looked alright but found some loose threads requiring me to cut off before using , actually might not use it

I was not satisfied with the quality or look of the bomber jacket I ordered. I foolishly thought it would be simple to return but subsequently found out that you need to source your own courier and pay for any customs fees. I would not recommend using this site.
