HT pawn brokers westgate ANITA is brilliant ask for her, i have been using them for over a year and each time i visit she is on point with her customer service and her professionallity, communication is 100%. She is empathetic towards your needs and will make you smile in the end, understands the customers need, and understand the difficulty in pawning centimental jewellry. She is an asset to to the rest of the staff within HT westgate ! Look out for Anita shes by far the best member of staff there and does what she does the best!. Thank you Anita

The staff are always nice and friendly, never had an issue. Been to sell jewellery but didn't know you could also buy currency from them so that was interesting to know and that you have the option to get your jewellery back as well if you just want to loan it.

If your thinking about ordering online just do it , I won’t lie i was abit put off by some of the reviews when it comes to ordering online , but I did i ordered a gold bracelet the Thursday night received it the following Thursday a week was kept up to date with everything cant recommended enough the braclett is stunning and the delivery was great 100% recommend thank yous

I would like to write a review after seeing some negative reviews around silver deliveries on order's placed over the Xmas period. To defend H&T. All other suppliers have turned off silver sales over that period as the prices was going crazy. (Nobody had any stock). H&T website said 5oz silver bars were in stock. It was clear this was a mistake considering every other company was out of stock. Also it was clear the price was wrong. £300 for a 5oz bar when all the companies priced it at £400. I ordered 6 myself. (£1800). Anyone who ordered these would of known what they was doing! When the New year trading started again, I received an email in good time stating they would honour the order and and 2/3 weeks for delivery. Considering the price was wrong I was happy they honoured the order. They also said I could have a refund if I didn't want to wait. All 6 bars arrived towards 20th of January and by that time they was worth £550 each. H&T was brilliant and anyone who gave them a 1 star review for honouring this mistake needs to rethink there values.

I had two rings, and a pair of earrings which I was looking to sell, and therefore went to H&T. I went to a few different stores, and also other jewellers to see who would give the best price. I eventually went to my local store which is 14 St Ann’s Harrow.

On the first interaction (around 11th or 12th November), Keith served me. He didn’t use the diamond size gauger, and instead guessed on how big each diamond was. When I questioned him on this, he said “because they’re small, he cannot”. This isn’t true, as other H&T stores were able to measure them accurately. That’s the whole point of using the gauge, so the customer can get an accurate price. Keith’s total valuation came to £215. For one of the earrings, he only gave me £6 for the diamonds and £35 for the gold weight!!

I knew Keith’s valuation was a lot less than what the market is, as I had done my market research on what they were worth as I had been to other stores and jewellers who had given more than £215, so I took them back with me.

On 15th November, I went back to Harrow H&T as I knew Natalia would be in. Natalia used the diamond size gauger as I would expect, and was able to give me a valuation for the same items at £400. Therefore, this was another £185 extra compared to what Keith gave only a few days prior. It was my confirmation that Keith was dishonest and deceitful.

I believe Keith’s deceitful actions were intentional, as his attitude for a very long time has been dreadful.

How do H&T expect there to be trust for customers willing to purchase goods, and also to sell when Keith’s actions were appalling.

If I could give 0 stars, then I would do, as the customer service and experience I received on the first interaction with Keith was disgusting.

I would advise all customers to be cautious when dealing with Keith especially in the store, and H&T as a whole.

I hope customer services see this, so this doesn’t happen again in the future to another customer. I’m sure H&T don’t condone this type of behaviour from an employee.

UPDATE - They give 8 weeks as their deadline to come back with a response. After 8 weeks, there was no response. They then said they would come back the following week (9 weeks) - still nothing came through. I had to then chase them for an update, to which they responded with a response which no made sense at all.

They did say my complaint was upheld though. I've asked them to review their response, and they've now chosen not to respond.

Seems like their not bothered and dont care about customers complaints which come through.

Bit of an emotional sock draw clear out after a messy marriage breakup.
The ladies and gents at H&t Cowley Rd Oxford were very empathetic with my unfortunate situation, both kind and understanding.

I was happy with the price I received for the bits I was selling and the whole process was fast and simple, you just need to have some photo I.D with you as proof of identity.

I wouldn't hesitate to use this service again if need be.

Absolutely avoid buying anything bullion online from this company..
I have waited nearly a month so far, for 5x 5oz bars totaling £1500 and despite contacting them on more then 1 occasion you just get fobbed off with the same old rubbish of, it's coming from a different supplier and they have a backlog from the Xmas period. They should fulfill within 2 working weeks (from 6th Jan) were now going into the end of week 3 (tomorrow) Why have it showing as in stock on YOUR website when clearly it wasn't. I don't want a link sent to me about chasing this up as from reading other reviews this is a waste of time too. Shambles stay away..just for the records I have since purchased bars from shops that I had cleared out at the same time as placing this order so they can get the bars into there shops but not sent out to customers online. Unbelievable that.
