THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! SCAM!! SCAM!!! They do everything in their power not to approve a claim. I wished I searched the company before purchasing a warranty with them. Look at all of the complaints and unsatisfied customers. BBB please take action and put this fraudulent company out of business. I purchased a 2 piece sectional and got a 5 yr warranty to cover accidental rips, tears, cuts, burns and stains. Shortly after delivery I noticed a zipper on a cushion was busted/ripped. Being that I just got the furniture and had the warranty I figured no big deal. As time went on more damage occurred to the sectional. During my recent move, part of the sectional got ripped. I filed a claim thinking within time I'll have my replacement. WRONG!! I had to go back and forth with this company for months, just to have my claim processed. I sent everything they asked for in order for my claim to be processed and they kept saying they never received the info. After sending all information that was requested for a 3rd time, It was denied. Stating because I was unaware of how the damaged happened. NOT TRUE!!! So I called customer service. The lady gave me all kind of excuses why my claim was denied. First they claimed the busted/ripped zipper cushion isn't covered, then it was because I expected the damage was during delivery ( false I said I noticed after delivery) then it was because my warranty only covers consumer accidental rips ( warranty doesn't state that, but it was a consumer accidental rip) once I explained how the damage happened and made it clear. I was then placed on a hold, when she retuned I was told the warranty doesn't cover rips that happen when the furniture is being moved. Complete BS. It didn't matter what I said, my claim wasn't going to be approved. It's a shame that companies like this is allowed to operate. BBB lets end this scam, put this company out of business. After seeing all of the people they have done wrong. I won't rest until I get results. This company needs to be held accountable.

I WISH I WOULD RATE THEM ZERO STAR

I bought furniture from Bob's furniture about 4 yrs ago. at that time store offered me 5 years protection plan for about $150. my furniture got damaged a couple of months ago and I contacted Bob's regarding my damage and they transfer my call to the guardian so I spoke with the guardian customer service representative and He said you are not eligible. he literally said NO. I wish he about says something eg; we will send you a technician to repair. I was not even asking for a new replacement or a full refund. my question is why do you offer such a shi**** plan if you can't make it happen? please refund my $150 bucks with 4 years' interest. you should not Robb. poor people like me, it's a shame. this is my most ridiculous investment ever. this is the worst experience ever of my life. I am just *** off, no words

Terrible!

Terrible!! Was on hold on the phone for 50 mins I just hung up.. I’ve been waiting 16 days for a reply on my claim until they randomly closed it and said they can’t fix it when they didn’t even try to! Completely worthless company don’t do business with this company they are the worst customer service I have ever experienced

They Will Not Honor Your Claim. Do Not Purchase.

I purchased a recliner about two years ago from Bob's Furniture and along with it purchased the goof proof insurance for peace of mind. I was made to understand that it covered accidental damage to the product. Several weeks ago, the button that controls the reclining mechanism stopped working, likely due to the button being pressed too hard. This is a pretty textbook example of what the insurance is for. I filed a claim within 24 hours online and was told to expect a response within 3 days. I did not hear back for 2 1/2 weeks. When I did get a response, I was told that my claim was denied because while the damage occurred due to an accident, the accident occurred during proper use of the reclining button (what?). This company operates in bad faith not dissimilar to the insurance company in the book/movie Rainmaker. They automatically deny every claim knowing that suckers such as myself have no real way to fight back short of hiring an attorney and filing a claim. As you will see below this, they will provide a canned response saying that they are sorry, without any real alternative solution because they know that they can continue to survive as a company by paying their employees and attorneys without actually providing repairs/replacements for the products that they insure.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, buy this warranty!

I would rate them with NEGATIVE STARS. Scammer and cheaters. They will not fix/cover your furniture. Sounds like a good deal, but trust me, it is not.
Do NOT, under any circumstances, buy this warranty!
Worst customer service. I spent literally hours on the phone and solved nothing.
Your time and sanity are worth far more.

TOTAL SCAM!!

Found 3 or 4 "bubbles" on my 2 year old dining room table. Tried to wipe off what looked like food that had spilled on the table and this caused the "bubbles" to come off to expose the bare wood.

The Room Place has some beautiful furniture, but DO NOT FALL FOR THE BOGUS PROTECTION PLAN that they offer! Guardian Protection Products should be put out of business!!

Awful services...actually there is no customer service at all. My sofa stop reclining 3 months ago and I'm still waiting for the parts to be shipped and installed. Keep your money. This company doesn't deserve to in operations.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Can't believe any reputable furniture store would even offer up this "insurance". Paid a lot of money for a new sectional a year ago. First time I ever paid for any type of "extended warranty/insurance" and definitely the last. Oh how I wish I would have read the reviews. My dog ripped a nail off and bled all over my 3 of my cushions. I was out of town and dog sitter called in a panic. Dog ended up fine and I had my mom go over to the house to see what she could do with the blood stains. She was able to get most of it out and when I got home I shampooed the cushions with attachment on carpet cleaner . Two of the cushions are fine but the one still has some discoloration. I was so relieved knowing I had purchased this plan. This plan that promised to take care of precisely this type of scenario. Ha! What a joke. Their solution was to send me a teeny bottle of stain remover and send a cleaning service to the house to do exactly what I did, shampoo the cushion. Two and a half months later. I have decided to just flip the cushion and move on. Life is to short to fight this battle. NEVER AGAIN.

Will never cover your damage-STAY AWAY

These people will never cover their warranty. They look for every excuse in the book to not help. I had a valid claim but had waited more than 30 days because silly me did not want anyone to come to my house in the middle of a pandemic and they used this as an excuse to not cover the damage. I contacted BBB and opened a claim. They said they would contact me to settle it and never did. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Claim procedure has a built-in "Deny" button.

We filed a claim for the cushion of our outdoor furniture. We submitted all the information and photos required. Though they said they would respond in 3 days it took 2 weeks and then denied the claim. Why? They asked how the tear happened. I clicked one of their options -- I don't know. When you click this option, it automatically denies your claim. So buyer beware. If you've purchased a protection plan and file a claim, whatever you do, do NOT click the "implode" button -- I don't know. Horrible customer service.

Reading all the reviews why is this place still in business!? Worst company ever! Terrible customer service, not willing to work with anyone. Just take the money and act like they don’t owe us anything. We paid for a service and are not getting any help from this company. I will continue to go above and beyond daily to make sure no one falls for this scam!

We purchased coverage on our new sofa

We purchased coverage on our new sofa. A tear appeared a couple of months later. We contacted Guardian with a picture and said it was a manufactures defect. The manufacture also denied responsibility. Unfortunately we did not read reviews on Guardian as apparently they are a scam.

What a scam. First they said the required time-frame wasn't met. I prooved it was. Then they said the problem wasn't covered. All are lies. Will never purchase again. Total rip-off.
