Poor First Impression: 80ml Product in a 100ml Half-Empty Tin

I am writing this review after receiving a non-resolving response from customer support regarding my recent order. I ordered the fötter Luxurious Foot Cream, which is supplied as 80ml in a 100ml tin. The item arrived looking half full.

Customer service confirmed that the appearance is due to the 80ml product settling in the larger tin, which they admit can make it look "half full" or "used". This is deceptive packaging. The company needs to offer a proper resolution for sending out a product (intended as a gift) that appears half-used, rather than simply justifying their shrinkflation-like packaging tactic.

It was just great service to be honest

Gruum are a fantastic company; they’re always very prompt and helpful with their customer service which is greatly appreciated these days.

Their products are of very good quality, and vegan and CF too which is a massive plus for me. I recently bought their cleaning range which is good too.

I love their shampoo and body bars, although they have become quite expensive now, which is a shame as I previously bought them a lot. They left my hair very clean and free of any nasty ingredients too. However, £9 for a shampoo bar is too much for me unfortunately.

Abysmal customer service. Have been sitting on an order for a week that was supposed to be 48 hour tracked delivery. Now trying to argue about how time works. Also their app seems to have been designed to add even more annoyance

“Excellent shampoo bars for silly sensitive skin. I have eczema & cannot use liquid shampoos as I end up with a severely itchy scalp & flaky skin. I used to use friendly shampoo bars but sadly became allergic to those too. I now use the grum bars & for the last couple of years my scalp is as good as it can be! Can’t fault delivery or packaging, no plastics & quick. Thanks ☺️ ”

I love these products & have used them for years.
I convinced my husband to try them & now he won't use any other shaving & skin products.
Plus, the customer service is outstanding.

I have been purchasing grumm products for a few years now and have always found them to be good quality at a fair price. At the end of May I ordered a number of soaps, wax melts and bath melts from the sale as extra 'stocking fillers' for friends and family. The products were nicely packaged and arrived well within the timespan given. Unfortunately one of the wax melts and two of the bath melts had melted in transit. Following my review I was contacted on the Bank Holiday Monday (wow!) and was asked to photograph the damaged products so that replacements could be sent. These arrived promptly with a voucher to acknowledge my poor experience on this occasion. Sadly two of the three replacements had also melted in transit. gruum sent a second voucher to compensate. Well done gruum for your customer service. A good way to judge a company is how they handle it when things go wrong. You have restored my trust.

Delivery fees are a scam.

I looooove this British company with its Scandanavian name/aesthetic. Its eco ethos - sustainability meets responsibility - is a must for a conscious consumer like myself. Most of their products are handmade and manufactured within the UK. Grüum (pronounced Groom) skin products are gentle and hydrating. The candles and room scents smell lovely and linger for hours - even my two little mutts don't mind them. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I love their products and how accessible and convenient they are. I use my products specifically for my travel toiletries essentials. They’re such a convenient size and they never let me down whatever climate I travel to.

I have tried the shampoo bar some years ago and from the first use I saw my hair more soft and shiny. I tried after some other brands but the results were not great so I stuck with them. I was so thrilled that I recommended it to my friends who were also excited after the use. Later I tried some of their facial products also and was amazed with their sunscreen which protected my face during my holidays. Recently I had tried the deodorant and I am amazed by how although I sweat no bad odours which is amazing. I am exciting to see what other products will this company produce in the future. Keep up the great job.

I was initially not sure as I personally had not heard of Gruum before but I liked the background of the company so i decided to trust my instincts and the good reviews I had read. Im so glad I did as the products are very good. The April fragrance Bluebell and moss (which was a free gift) is an amazing beautiful fragrance. Im torn between wearing it everyday to wanting to save it incase I cannot get it again now.

I have placed many orders with Gruum, the products are so nice to use and I love the fact that the packaging is so minimal so you dont end up with lots of plastic that ends up in the bin . The delivery is quick with updates at every stage and most important the customer service is amazing

But I found them to be really good
