Bus broke down, the "replacement" bus didn't even go the same route as the one that broke down and I had to pay for a second ticket.

The 2A Sunderland to Washington bus. Always late, if they even turn up at all, I am always late for work because they are never on time and theres been times when they just dont turn up at all, they are an absolute joke they might as well still be on strike and the definitely did not deserve a pay rise. I wish they was a stagecoach that went from Sunderland to Washington because that service is OK.

today stood in the bus station at consett 4.50pm for the vi service to delves lane still standing there 5.55pm vi or the v2 service did not turn up v5 pulled in asked him why there was no v1 or v2 serive all I got was he was v5 service no help at all.
v2 pulled in just after 6 pm asked the driver why two buses had not turned up he said he had broken down so why did he no phone control to provide another bus older people in the bus station with shopping try to get home, go ahead northern service total rubbish before the strike and after the strike

Thought I would try gettig the bus to work from Whickham to help the environment etc. Buses to Gateshead are now only every twenty minutes during peak time. I waited for the 0751 bus from Oakfield Rd Whickham to Gateshead. Bus didn't turn up - bad, particularly as this is a peak time bus for taking office workers to town. Nothing on the Go North East website or app to suggest any cancellation. Funnily enough there were only three of us waiting for a peak time bus - the other two were elderly ladies going into Newcastle for a day trip. Others must know and have given up bothering to get a bus. I ended up crossing the road and getting on a bus to metro centre going the other way and changing - when I mentioned to the driver that the other bus hadn't turned up he shrugged his shoulders.
Today was free after the strike debacle, a 'gift' to us after the total mess of the last two months- had it not been free this would also have cost me double the fare to have to change buses half way. It's no wonder the environment is in a mess - I will be sticking to the car in future. Is it too much to ask for a reliable bus service?

Shocking, simple things like the driver not stopping (at 1704) - complete rubbish and then means Uber is the firm choice!

imagine all of the disabled people who can’t get from A to B. Are these bus drivers expecting people in wheelchairs to just push themselves ten miles for their shopping?

Is going on a STRIKE trend or something?? They knew how much they’ll be getting payed when they were taking on the job. If you don’t like the pay, CHANGE YOUR JOB! Why should public suffer when yous have problem with bosses? Lazy. Getting payed to do nothing but stand outside depo. People have no way of going to work, schools, socially, shops. SELFISH. If they rly wanted to get their bosses attention or push them to change, keep running the service, don’t charge passengers. It’ll hurt bosses pockets more. They could do that in Japan but I guess GNE drivers are too lazy. “Skeleton buses” are also nightmare. Hardly anything for people from smaller villages and for services that’s what, run 9am-2pm? What a joke.

The shod pot bus on for x mas has people wot to get presets and go to see the family it a big jok to the bus driver but not to people the wot to go to family for Christmas

Greed greed greed. It is a unskilled job anyone can drive! They do not deserve 15.50 an hour! They have cost me my job I hope stagecoach etc take over their routes and they go in liquidation

The strike is ridiculous. There pay is affected, yet they make more money then people in care who are only 10 pound an hour. Need to pull their heads out of their arses and either quit, or grow up and stop demanding money. Get drivers who actually want the job..drivers knew how much money they would get, yet still complain like spoilt brats. It's affected the user's of the busses more then them, now it's making other bus company's more late with their buses, and affecting people who need go north east because of the routes. Grow tf up, and quit, or get back to work

I’m starting a new job, instead of selecting a job that’s good for my career I’m looking for a job that I can reach on time and that would cost less for me to reach it. I understand that some times you need to take dead decisions to achieve something but this is pure cruelty. Please do something about this, give us an alternative at least. Hope the problem gets solved soon and people can get to their destination.

All of the set of go noth east are worst ever set of mugs Should be grateful I have finally got a job and have to turn it down because of the strike again, a bunch of shxxx I can't get there and is was a fantastic opportunity but thanks to them been greedy and crying like big babys do u see the Soldiers going on strike I am ex army and now getting in work how Excited I was found out this sad

Needed to go Newcastle twice in last 3 days. X45 late on average 15 minutes when they turned up. On 4 occasions the bus never turned up at all. AND THEY PREACH TO US TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT. I will not be using the bus again.

Useless. No respect. No consideration and were always late anyways.

These strikes are ridiculous. Now, I am a working man on minimum wage. I need to pay the bills too. Not only do I rely on Go North East to get to and from work but also to see my family in consett who also depend on me most days. I do not drive, taxis are way too expensive from where I live and now I'm having to go a week without contact, every other week.

The strikes effect people more than you know.

All the older generation are anxious and unable to do anything because £26,000-£30,000 per annum just isn't good enough for you is it? Even despite the increased cost of living, which is affecting us all by the way.

Absolutely disgraceful company. My daughter is using this service to get to college at Durham. The service is cancelled at least two or three times every week, usually at the last minute and often leaving her stranded on her own. As Go Northeast can’t provide the service they are meant to, the government need to stop the funding given to them.

There needs to be another bus service operating, this one is unreliable and the strikes are causing stress and anxiety. Terrible company.

They might as well be on strike for how good the 27 service is. Waiting 50 mins for a nus that runs every 12 mins.......alegidly.
