These strikes are ridiculous. Now, I am a working man on minimum wage. I need to pay the bills too. Not only do I rely on Go North East to get to and from work but also to see my family in consett who also depend on me most days. I do not drive, taxis are way too expensive from where I live and now I'm having to go a week without contact, every other week.
The strikes effect people more than you know.
All the older generation are anxious and unable to do anything because £26,000-£30,000 per annum just isn't good enough for you is it? Even despite the increased cost of living, which is affecting us all by the way.

Absolutely disgraceful company. My daughter is using this service to get to college at Durham. The service is cancelled at least two or three times every week, usually at the last minute and often leaving her stranded on her own. As Go Northeast can’t provide the service they are meant to, the government need to stop the funding given to them.
There needs to be another bus service operating, this one is unreliable and the strikes are causing stress and anxiety. Terrible company.
They might as well be on strike for how good the 27 service is. Waiting 50 mins for a nus that runs every 12 mins.......alegidly.
I can’t believe the service given by go north east buses, I bought an e bike because of the cost and service they provide but today showed me the reason why. Bus turns up late then follows my connecting bus so I miss it then have to wait another 30 minutes for the next.
They never respond to the complaints they just happy charging hard workers more and give a worse service, I bet if the councils cut their funding they would soon kick off.
Pay your drivers more so they care about the passengers not targets.

The 309 bus service through the Colbalt hasn't turned up for 2 nights in a row! The evening bus yesterday at 8:30pm was cancelled also the next bus due at 9:30 was also cancelled, the next bus after that was due at 10:30pm!
Leaving people stranded with no means to get home from work, please can you either revise your timetable and stop the bus at 6pm, or run the buses in the evening, so the people who still work the office late can use your 309 service to get home.
Their 309 bus from cobalt business park at 16:33 has been 20+ minutes late every day for over the past few weeks, yet every time I complain, they just say its due to 'traffic' and refuse to do anything about it. Their customer service is abysmal, and they are quite flippant and rude

Busses are never on time or they just don’t show up and especially on a morning it’s annoying when they’re making people late for work by not doing their own jobs properly. Unreliable company it’s a pain that there is no other busses operating near me.

This company is appalling I recently I lost something on the bus it was my school bag and you can only call them from 9.00am to 5pm Monday to Friday what kind of stupid thing is that and I still haven't gotten my bag back and there saying that I need to go pick up on Monday at 9am when school starts at 7am I hate this company

very often on the morning when i have to wake up for work i go to the bus station to get the x45 at 7:27 towards newcastle and it never comes! i am always late to work and am on the verge of getting fired. i have no other way of getting to work other than busses which arnt showing up!
Awful driver's behaviour always on the same routes. How a bus driver refused to let his passengers know where she gets off. Disgusting attitude. This company deserves to shut down probably the same nasty driver causing the problem. Route is from Newcastle to Durham through the angel of the north. The Evil driver!
I always get the bus to work and never had a problem until today. I asked for one pound ticket, he charged me 2 pound then proceed to argue with me saying I said £2. He had an horrible attitude and them slammed the change down nd ticket. Normally I never have a problem, have been getting the bus for years now and this is the only time I've had a problem.
Worst bus Company around. Should have licence revoked! X1 service is supposed to be a 15 mins service to and from Newcastle via Washington. At present the service runs at 30 minutes with two buses often turning up together or they take one out of service.
For example today 1504 x1 from Newcastle to Easington Lane took out of Service. The 1519 x1 to Peterlee took out of Service too and this journey started from Gateshead. Therfore no x1 bus for 45/50 minutes. Not worth contacting Customer Services for answers as they don't reply or you get a lame excuse.
My journey was a smooth one, and the driver on the bus was a very nice young man.
It was 309 at 15.21.
He smiled and greeted me and it was very genuine, so pleasant when you get nice greeting.

No stars would be appropriate the 78 country ranger service from Consett to Sunderland has to be the worst bus service around I am sick to death of waiting for this bus only for it not to turn up at all the drivers don’t care and just shrug their shoulders oh and if you dare complain well you are always in the wrong according to them the buses were at the stops they have ticketing information and gps information absolute rubbish they don’t know what they are talking about they know it doesn’t run correctly but just give you a whole load of rubbish when you call them they never investigate or want to get involved at all so for me that is a sign of a company that has little to no regard for its customers they have an ignorant abhorrent attitude and are not willing to accept facts even when they are are in plain view a shoddy expensive outdated and poorly run company is it any wonder they have 86 % 1 star reviews some of them are incredible but again they don’t respond to them as they don’t want to know
OMG GNE Keeping the ticket prices down thats another increase I believe 3 increases in less than a year thats £20 increase a month in less than a year. The latest starting on July 9th yer 3 days notice THANKS!!!
To pay for services that are constantly late if they do show up and jam packed buses that you have to Stand on on way home from work SO overall disgusting how dare they........ disrespectful. Can someone not sort this out the £2 fare is absolutely no good for regular travellers especially as most people I know have to get connections to get to and from work so??????? Regular travelers are subsidising this in my opinion.
I'm going to make a review every time my bus is late which is majority of the time I get the bus.
Awful customer service had so many rude drivers all it takes is a smile. No exaggeration around 80% of the 2 busses I get are continuously late. Bus has drove past me when I clearly have my hand out and this has happened more times than I can count. Fix it
