This company is the lowest of the low.when l need them l specifically told them l did not want to join the club and yet today they tried to take £89.99 out of my bank.As an 80 year old lady l find it disgusting that a company of this size can treat people like this
I have contacted my bank and had them blocked
If you have to use them keep an eye on your account or they might rip you off to
Personally l would say avoid them at all costs

The original engineer could not come to do the job but Antony turned up with the new part and the tools to do the job and within ten minutes our oven was working again.

Mis-selling services
Nice and helpful telephone agent except that within 5 minutes of booking the repair I had a call from the engineers saying they don't handle the repair in question. That was after explaining exactly what the issue was, make and model number etc

We are pleased to hear that you found our telephone agent helpful, but we apologise for the frustration caused when your booking could not proceed. Once we reviewed the job details, we realised that it would be an extended amount of time before we could assign a suitable engineer to fix your gas cooker.
We aimed to notify you as quickly as possible once this became clear, and we cancelled the service and issued a full refund immediately after confirming that an engineer would not be able to attend within the proposed timeframe.

Resolved: They take money 6 months after fix unauthorised
The repair was good and as expected. The repair man came and was quick with his work and polite.
So why one star?
6 months later they attempt to take £90 from my credit card despite it not being authorised by me. Luckily caught by the fraud team at NatWest so stopped payment.
So beware if you use these guys because they will try to steal money in the coming months.
Probably best to support your local appliance repair person.
Update: they are now continuing to try to take the money which has resulted in my credit card being blocked once again by the banks fraud team.

The response from the customer care team at Go Assist has been very good and have resolved all of my issues. Hence increasing my rating to a three.

My elderly mother rang this company up with a problem with her washing machine was charged £150 up front over the phone for parts and labour . The guy came out was there 2mins said needs new washing machine left . Do not use this company

Complaint
The total time taken on the phone call to Go Assist took ages and within 20 minutes of this call having been told an engineer would be booked customer services called to say ‘the engineer’ didn’t repair Samsung washing machines so it was all a waste of time.
Also the full refund of the amount debited to my Visa card is.not correct.
As well as the £99 for the repair I paid 12 months insurance. Please deal with this immediately,

V disappointed and a waste of money
First contact via phone was v professional - although I only asked for a quote for a faulty integrated microwave I agreed to an engineer visit. This cost £140 and included full diagnostic and any labour required to fix the issue. Engineer visited on time and diagnosed a faulty motherboard board which he’d get me a quote for. Email response advised parts needed were no longer available however they offered a £40 discount to purchase a new unit from them! Kicking myself I didn’t just take the unit to a repair shop but being integrated thought this wasn’t an option. £140 down the drain imo - which also bought me an unwanted membership for 6 months free which I now have to remember to cancel to avoid future membership fees.
