Poor product, cool design.
We loved the design and sustainable approach of quip. My wife and I had the brush for a bit over a year when hers cracked at the top while trying the almost impossible act of replacing the head. Quip replaced that because we were on there replacement subscription.
Several months later while trying to replace the head on my own brush, I could not pull the head off at all. I tried different angles and strength when finally the adhesive holding the metal gave out and the unit came out of the sleeve. It took several tries after that to finally get the head off to be replaced.
This means the unit is issuable but susceptible to bacteria build up since water and toothpaste can now get into the body of the brush.
I reached out with photos and requested a replacement but because I am not on their subscription any longer there is no warranty. This is disappointing for a product that is sold as a “sustainable” product and is poorly made for 2 to break within 2 years, not very sustainable and more to the land fill.
Asked fora coupon at the very least but none could be offered.
It’s a cool product but suffers poor manufacturing and lower than average customer support for a premium basic “vibrating” tooth brush.
Poor quality and dishonest pricing
Shame on all the podcast hosts who keep repeating that "quip starts at just $25". What does "starts" mean? THERE IS NO OPTION LESS THAN $40.
Fine, it costs more, but it's worth it? It's not!
I ordered 2. One failed in just a few months. Got another. Replacing the battery is a B*tch! Getting the motor out is so difficult. I've done it a few times. But can't anymore. I've asked other people to try. No luck.

I absolutely LOVE my Quip, I have had these toothbrushes for many years and even have multiple! I recommend them to all my friends and family. The company is committed to looking out for the environment and takes good care of its customers while always innovating and adding exciting new things. Their website is a breeze and makes life so easy!

2 of my last 3 refill shipments were never received. Quip provides tracking info but the USPS tracking numbers provided by Quip are wrong, or at least not recognized, by USPS. Too bad, product is good and I really like it but Quip’s inability to properly ship refills means I’ll find these types of dental products from another company.
About to dispute charges
I was a loyal customer of quip for almost three years until recently. This past January I heard nothing from the company for over a month when my subscription never showed even though I was charged. After reading many reviews with the same complaints I decided that I would cancel my subscription but there is no way to remove your billing information from their website, only the option to add a different credit card. I wrote to customer service to cancel my account and delete my information on March 6. On April 24 I got an email stating that my next refill would be shipping soon and I have 24 hours to make any changes, this was 11:45 at night. By morning the next day the charges were already made and I could not make any changes to the order. The products are fine but their business practices seem very shady to me so I am going to have to report them to my bank.
I love quip
I love quip! I have been using it for 4 years now, I haven't had a cavity, and have reduced my plaque build-up. I have the brush the mouthwash the pick. All the products and amazing.

We love quip! Bought it for my 9 year old that does not love brushing her teeth. Now she is brushing 3 times a day! Also purchased one for myself and I am loving the ease, comfort and sleek look.
Teeth felt as smooth as after a dental cleaning!
With the pandemic, our family hasn’t been to the dentist in over a year. After using our quip toothbrushes and floss, we felt like we had just been in fit a dental cleaning! These toothbrushes work great!
The packaging was really pretty
The packaging was really pretty! The bristles are soft and they still scrub really well. The timer feature is nice and ensures even brushing. I’ve been using it at least 2-3 times per day since Christmas and have 0 complaints so far!
Customer service is non-existent
My toothbrush stopped working after six months. I have spent the last three months trying to get a replacement. I have submitted a help request on the website three separate times. On all occasions, I get a response to my initial inquiry asking for further information (address confirmation or pictures of the brush) and then I send the information and...no-one replies. I send many, many follow-up emails asking for someone to just reply to me, and nobody ever has. I've genuinely never experienced something so infuriating. How can nobody be monitoring the responses to help requests?
Worked for a month then broke, no refund
I bought a quip toothbrush at Target against my better judgment given the extremely high price, I just liked the packaging and heard about it on a podcast. I signed up for the renewing brush head and everything after buying. I had it for less than a month, before it started doing crazy weird stuff and broke. I live in a dorm room and one day I heard a buzzing coming from one of my drawers. Weirdly enough, the toothbrush was literally turning on by itself. This didn't happen just once. It started happening multiple times a day and even in the middle of the night. I just kept using it anyway. Then after about a week of it spontaneously turning on, it stopped. I mean it didn't even turn on anymore. And I did everything that the little booklet it came with told me to do, I changed the battery, bought a new "emergency" brush head, evened tried cleaning out the inside. Completely dead, never turned on again. I wasn't pleased with this considering I paid a good amount of money for the brush itself and I'll be getting a shipment for a new brush head in a few weeks because I paid for that too thinking it wouldn't be broken within the first month. The website said they offer a "guarantee" but that guarantee classified what happened to me as a manufacturing issue, and didn't refund me. I've heard great things about this toothbrush, but this was just my experience and it was terrible.
Just don't.
Chiming in to say that my experience with Quip was exactly as frustrating as other reviews you see here, and as of this writing I still don't have my money back, and am in fact out $10 for the money to send it back.
I ordered two brushes and flossers as gifts on 12/4 and my order sat there waiting to be shipped for three weeks until I finally wrote to them on 12/23. I got a response on 1/2 agreeing to send out a replacement package because it appeared that my original package had been "lost in transit." This replacement package arrived 1/8 and weirdly, so did my original "lost" package.
By now I had already made up my mind to return everything because I didn't want to inflict this product/service on anyone by giving it as a gift. In the meantime I did some more research and found all these BBB reviews, along with comments on their social media posts from many others dealing with the same issues, and decided it just wasn't worth it to give them any more of my money.
Three days later on 1/11 I got an email from a ~supervisor~ stating that they could see that I had in fact received both packages and provided a prepaid label (USPS) to ship the duplicate package back. I asked for an RMA/shipping label for my original package and was told I would have $10 deducted from my refund. They sent me instructions with a label for Newgistics/Pitney Bowes, the shipment company that originally took over a month to arrive, so I already knew it would be another good chunk of time before I (hopefully, maybe) got my money back.
I shipped both items back on 1/14. The extra package (the one I won't be getting a refund on) conveniently arrived 2 days later, while the original package (the one I am supposed to get a refund on) was delivered to the shipping partner (Newgistics/Pitney Bowes) where it has sat for almost 2 weeks now.
Overall, irritating experience. I know we're living in unprecedented times and I fully understand that things aren't running perfectly, but during the holidays I ordered quite a few items, shipped by various companies, and never had such a problem. They've obviously had these issues for years though, and I just regret not doing my research and trusting the people who advertised Quip on their podcasts, haha.
Having be reliable then stop working
My order said it was shipped on Dec 3rd but I have not got it as Jan 9th. The other order said it was delivered on Jan 7th which I never received. The tracking number is not valid on USPS. I contacted them via custom service but never got any reply. What a joke
Waiting for replacement brushes..
Waiting for replacement brushes... they're typically a month late. Just let us buy them at Target. Charge $7 for them, I don't care, waiting on them is annoying and frustrating.
First refill and I am pretty sure I got lie to
First refill is stuck in Greenwood, IN for a week now. Contact their help desk and a rep tells me that shipping, after shipped, can take 10-14 business days. I find that a lie because I am not sure anything with USPS takes that long to ship, even media mail.
“ Thanks for getting in touch! Once your refill order ships, you can expect it to arrive within 10-14 business days. Your refill shipped on November 30, 2020, and is still within our delivery window.”

We all know USPS is taking extra long, I should know in my job I see it on a daily basis, but to not acknowledge that a package, maybe the size of a single large winter glove, is not lost when stuck at a USPS facility for a week is basically lying to customer.

Don't Bother
I ordered a quip set mid OCT. After 3 weeks I still had not received the order to my London address. I then chased Quip and they said it just must have gotten lost and started the process of sending me another one. It is now 1 and half months later and I still haven't received it BUT I did just received a customs charge to be paid as Quip hasn't paid customs?!
Don't waste your precious time.

I have had a positive experience with quip thus far, I even recommended and bought one for my mom, however my tooth brush stopped working about 6 weeks ago, I left a message on their website about the issue because they claim to have a lifetime warranty. I got the blanket, "we got your message but with covid we have longer than usual response times, please only contact once per issue.' Okay, I waited..... over a week, then I noticed that I would be getting charged for the refill on the tooth brush that does not work, so I send another email to the subscription option, explaining I understand that they are having longer than usual response times, but why do I want to get a new brush head when my toothbrush doesn't work? I get a response from (insert generic name here because actual accountability for something 4.5 years ago is a thing), who explains yes, longer than usual wait times but since I had a subscription issue they would take care of it now, did I still want my refill? Please send pictures of your toothbrush. I do a that, they charge me for my refill and then nothing, that was 3 weeks ago. I got my refill today for my broken toothbrush that still won't power on... there must be a very large back log of customer service issues if it takes this long to answer your customer service emails

i wish the bristles were just a bit firmer, or at least an option to get firmer bristles. that is my only complaint so far. really liking my Quip!
