Excellent communication and support throughout the mortgage process**
As a self-employed applicant with a slightly more complex application involving a residential purchase and a buy-to-let remortgage, I was expecting the process to be challenging. However, Gen H have been professional, responsive and clear throughout.
The underwriting team asked sensible questions, kept the application moving, and communicated requirements clearly. While there were naturally a few additional checks due to the complexity of the application, the process felt thorough rather than difficult.
A special mention to my broker and the Gen H team for keeping me updated and helping navigate each stage of the application. The mortgage offer was issued successfully, and the experience has given me confidence in Gen H's approach to supporting borrowers with more complex circumstances.
