The team at Galya especially Senem, Melis and Sadik were absolutely incredible in supporting our small group. Having them guide us through every test, consultation and the recovery process made such a difference and gave us real peace of mind while being in a foreign country. I also had my dental work done through Galya and they even negotiated better pricing for me, which I truly appreciated. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Senem and her Team at Galya Health were amazing.
Although everything happened very fast with the pre-op checks at the hospital which for some could have been overwhelming however Senem and her team were right there beside you basically navigating and explaining everything at every stage.
They advocate for you and I felt safe in their care.
They provided regular check ups both physical and on whatsapp.
The hospital was very clean and staff were friendly.

Senem have been very helpful from the initial contact to going back to my own country. She had organised everything from the moment we landed at the airport and back. Everything at the hospital is very detail- oriented including the pre-op tests. They made sure it was safe for me to do the surgery. The surgery itself was very successful. The doctors, nurses, translators, and cleaners were all professionals. Thank you Galya Health for a wonderful experience. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

I had my bariatric surgery with Galya Health in early September, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The specialist appointments were excellent, every specialist I saw took the time to understand my health needs and worked around them with genuine care and professionalism.

The translators were warm, welcoming, and incredibly supportive, which made the whole process feel much less overwhelming. The nurses were efficient and prompt, always getting things done quickly while still making me feel comfortable and well looked after. The cleaning staff were amazing too accommodating, friendly, and keeping everything spotless at all times.

Overall, the service was outstanding. Choosing to have my surgery with Galya Health was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Senem and her team at Galya Health, VIP treatment right from arrival at airport to hospital, surgery and post care, hospital rooms are very comfy with own ensuite bathroom. Surgeons are experienced and thorough.

Yesterday I came back from my sleeve gastrectomy that I Did by Galya…I cannot find the Right Words to thank all the Galya Team Sanem which was there to answer all my questions day and Night 😅to Melis which maked my fear go away in those days, to the doctors Seyit and Tosun and at last but not least I wanted to thank even Hatun Aksu which was always with a big smile on her Face ready to give me a Support like a mom usually do to ther children !❤️ so thank you a lot , you guy‘s are amazing !!!!

My partner and I flew from Melbourne to have the gastric sleeve done. We could not have done this without the help and support from Senem and her amazing team Melis and sadik. They not only provided us with support but went over and beyond for the both of us from the moment we had landed, and currently still as we have not left the country yet but at the hotel. There communication and time is beyond the greatest experience and pleasure that we have had. I highly suggest going through this team for all your needs, this team will move mountains to accomodate you and who ever you have coming with you. The cleaners/nurses/doctors and surgeons were amazing, the staff we had on our floor had me in laughters and were great with us whilst in there. Met amazing people in the hospital that got operated on, and they put us all Māori on the same floors hahaha. (Good choice)

I flew to Turkey to have gastric bypass with Galya health. They took care of everything and it went smoothly, easily and quickly. I’m about 12 days post op and already feel close to full energy and have had no issues of pain. Senam was really helpful in organising everything and Melis was an amazing translator helping while at hospital. Would highly recommend this if considering the operation.

In October 2025, I had the privilege of accompanying my wife to Istanbul, Turkey, where she underwent gastric bypass surgery at İstinye Üniversite Hastanesi Medical Park Gaziosmanpaşa. We travelled as part of a group with Te Ara Whai Bariatric Tours, and from the moment we arrived, we were embraced with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care by the exceptional team at Gayle Health—Senem, Sadik, and Melisa.

Their ability to communicate fluently in both English and Turkish was truly invaluable. It helped bridge any language barriers and ensured that every patient felt safe, informed, and supported throughout the process.

Upon arrival, we were quickly settled into our accommodation before being guided through a thoughtfully structured day of hospital visits. The Gayle Health team personally escorted us to meet a range of specialists, each conducting thorough assessments to ensure everything was in place for surgery. The coordination between Gayle Health and the hospital was seamless—so much so that some members of our group were able to proceed with surgery on the very same day, with others following shortly after.

Post-surgery, the care didn’t stop. The Gayle Health team remained a constant and reassuring presence, checking in regularly with both patients and their support people. Their 24/7 availability via WhatsApp was a lifeline—offering immediate, compassionate responses whenever questions or concerns arose.

As our time in Istanbul came to an end, Gayle Health ensured that every patient was well-prepared for the journey home. They provided post-operative medication and all necessary medical documentation to support continued care with our general practitioners in New Zealand.

Even now, thousands of miles away, Gayle Health continues to support us. Their ongoing availability via WhatsApp means we’re never alone in this journey—they remain just a message away, ready to answer any post-op questions with the same care and attentiveness we experienced in person.

Mu husband and I had our gastric bypass with Galya Health. At first things are a little scary going to a foreign country for surgery as you don't really understand what is happening. However we had 3 passionate translators (Senem,Melissa and Sadek) who made sure they answered every question we had and made sure we getting the best experience and always happy. The hospital is kept clean and the Dr's and nurses really are very well trained. The pre-op testing is very thorough and the process happens very fast.
