I have used many bakeries for work and Freddie’s cakes is by far one of the best!
They do last minute orders, custom cakes that look and taste amazing!
They were so flexible and reasonably priced, don’t hesitate to order!

I feel sorry for the bad reviews that only have to do with delivery problems. Try and deliver a fragile cake in busy towns and harassed couriers! Not easy, so best to focus on the great cakes at top quality. Bravo Freddie’s Cakes 🧁

I bought a totally plain cake as a blank canvas and decorated it myself, and the sponge, lemon drizzle and cream were all delicious — not overly sweet or sickly at all. It looked stunning and was admired by everyone at the celebration.

On the website photo it looked like the cake was iced, so I wasn’t aware that it would be a fresh cream cake requiring refrigeration or that it would be frozen on collection. As I was going away and taking it with me a little more information and storage information online would have been helpful. That said, the live chat team were incredible and answered all my questions straight away, which really reassured me.

Cake was a tid bit dry but it looked cute and came fast Delivery guy was geeked up

Ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday total cost £99 to be delivered the following day before 3pm for her birthday party. I sent an email in advance asking if they would be able to fulfil. They accepted the order and gave me a slot between 11-3pm at the venue (bowling alley). The cake didn’t arrive until 5:30pm. 2 and a half hours after the allotted time and an hour and a half after the party had ended. I had to wait at the venue (in a shopping centre with a car full of children) for the delivery driver who informed me the AM driver did not turn up. They kept promising me the cake would arrive on time throughout the day even though they knew that it wouldn’t under the circumstances the driver explained to me and never gave me opportunity to cancel for full refund. They refused to acknowledge the fault or any money back initially and had the audacity to offer money off “my next order.” They then made me wait over a week and a half for an official response until managers returned and offered me some of the money back and delivery fee eventually. Got notification of the partial refund today which they haven’t calculated correctly so not even money returned as promised. An absolute disgrace of a company should not be in business. Entered into a contract that they wilfully chose not to fulfil. Will be taking further.

I was able to personalise this beautiful cake to my requirements. I was very impressed with the delivery and it tasted amazing! Several people asked where the cake was from - testament to how good it was!

I ordered a surprise cake for my partners birthday at a surprise get together at a restaurant. I paid extra for delivery as asked plus £54 for the cake. Once it arrived it was the wrong cake. A cheaper cake and not the one my partner would have liked. When I called I was told the manager does not take calls - how strange this was. I also was promised a call back and heard nothing. I have called since and no answer. I have emailed a very detailed email asking for my money in difference back from what I had originally paid for and I have still heard nothing back and I don't expect to. One of the WORST customer services not even received and above all a disgrace and dishonest company. I will NEVER order from here again. If I could rate a -5 star I would have but the lowest is a 1 star so I have to go with that. Do not order from here!

Delicious chocolate cake for a special Birthday arrived ahead of schedule and looked gorgeous. The packaging and cake plate also great. Great value - plenty for everyone. Just add candles and enjoy! Thanks to Freddies and the team!

I ordered red velvet cake for my sisters birthday . It was an online order made from Canada. The cake got delivered 8 hours after i placed the order. I was happy that it reached its delivery address on the same day. However, it gave gasteroenteritis( vomiting and diarrhea) to the people who ate it. I feel bad and i am ashamed of ordering the cake from Freddies. Highly unrecommended. Do not use their services. Cake will make your loved ones ill🥲

After reading trustpilot reviews, I was apprehensive about ordering cake for my daughter's birthday to be delivered at her hostel accommodation as a surprise, but everything went smoothly and the cake was delivered on time as requested.
Delivery guy's(Junaid) details were provided to me and he handled it in a fantastic way and kept me informed of every detail even at the time of cake delivery he called me and made sure there was no chance of error.
One star less due to ordinary packing but otherwise it was a 5 star ⭐️ service.

APPALLING EXPERIENCE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

I ordered a cake for a birthday to be delivered on the same day. I shortly received an email confirming a delivery slot between 11am-3pm. It got to 16:30, I emailed to query what the delay was. I received a response asking for an address and order number, I replied immediate and had no correspondence after this. I attempted calling a few times, to my shock my phone number was then blocked. It got to 20:40 and I received a call stating the delivery driver was at my house, obviously at this point nobody was there and I explained the situation, the man on the phone told me the delay was due the car being broken down and told me I would receive a refund. I’ve had no response since and it has now been over a week, despite my attempts of calling and emailing. I have now reported this to my bank as fraud.

The worst ever! I ordered cake for my daughter’s 15th birthday and it came late and they never had any good customer service support. I wish I could uploads image but they should not be falsely advertising cakes that they can’t make at all! I’m still waiting for a reply. Had to purchase a shop cake instead. The cake and extra payment for writing isn’t what we received .DO NOT ORDER FOR THEM
