I love Finisterre clothing and the brand itself - their ethos particularly around sustainability, and the quality of the materials used that fit that ethos, is the reason I have bought many items from them over many years. Customer service is always really responsive including this time when I contacted them because my discount code wasn’t working. They sorted it out straightaway and I was able to get the items I wanted really quickly as usual!

I have had amazing service from all the team at Finisterre. I had a rain jacket that I was concerned about - my husband has the exact same one and his was wearing much better than mine plus he had used his much more. The team have been excellent at dealing with my concern and kept me informed regularly. My replacement jacket arrived today and I am delighted. So refreshing to deal with a company that cares.

I initially had a problem with my online order but the support team were brilliant and quickly resolved the issue (thank you!). The items I ordered (aurora swim shorts, sula bikini top and Clearwater robe) are perfect - good quality fabric, well made and a flattering fit.

My Finisterre rucksack lost a fight with an airport baggage carousel and one of the straps was ripped apart. I was able to return it to them to have it repaired and they were incredibly helpful with the whole process.

I've got the repaired rucksack back and if I hadn't known where it had been damaged, I'd never notice that it has been repaired such was the quality of the repair.

I ordered a neoprene jacket in a size 12, I wasn’t sure whether it was tight enough and whether I should send it back for a 10. I called customer service and asked for advice, the lovely chap on the phone said I’ll send you a size 10 at no cost and you just return for free whichever one is less suitable.

Excellent customer service restoring my faith in retail! I wanted to buy an item out of stock on the website so after calling a store who didn't have it either they directed me to the customer services team. A quick email response later and they gave me details of the Edinburgh store that might have them along with their number, so helpful. A phone call later and I had purchased the item over the phone with complimentary shipping, such brilliant service!

Today I wore my Finisterre swimsuit the Men's Merlin Board Short for the first time. As I bent down to pick up a ball, the swimsuit suddenly tore quite badly at the bottom. It was really strange, especially considering it cost £110. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Could it be a faulty batch? I really like the style of the swimsuit, so I was genuinely disappointed that it ripped on the very first day I wore it.

I had a return and the team were fantastic. The item was replaced and received by courier the next day along with a QR code to send the original item back. First class customer service thanks team.

I'm 163cm, 62kg and the sizing is great. Sleeve length, jacket length, figure 'hug' all are right on the button. The clothes are really well made and I feel a million dollars in all of them. I have had loads of compliments on the t-shirt already! Thanks Finistere: great products which are well priced (and suit their purposes very well).

I have been keen on some swimming gear that’s been out of stock so I emailed the head office who very helpfully checked and told me which store had it in stock. I spoke to St Ives and they were completely delightful ans on it and my swimming costumes are on their way to me now! Wonderful customer service all round, thank you.

Finisterre is a great company. I had a problem with the zip on a jacket I had bought from them. The Customer Service team went beyond helpful in their responses. Replies to emails were quick, well written, friendly and offered options for solutions for me. All in all a very positive experience and I will definitely purchase more of their very good quality gear.

We recently went to Edinburgh store and had outstanding customer service from one of the staff members, Nadine. She went above and beyond to help us and couldn't have done any more. She is a credit to have working for Finesterre and made such an effort with us that we'd definitely go back.

Extremely slow refund process. I’m still waiting for my refund weeks after sending it back.

A rain jacket developed a fault too early in its life and Finisterre were happy to exchange it. The whole process was amicable, simple and quick. What's more I can rest assured that the faulty item has been entered into their recycling scheme. A great company walking the ethical talk.
