My fisherman’s beanie shrunk in the wash despite following the care instructions. I reached out to Finisterre who promptly issued me with a replacement hat after obtaining the relevant details/ proof of purchase etc. Excellent customer after-care. Also, the warmest hat I’ve ever owned!

I recently had to send back a faulty Rainbird jacket; the returns process was easy to use and I recieved great service from the Finisterre Customer Service Team. A replacement jacket arrived within two days. The Customer Services Team were excellent - courteous, efficient and always helpful.

It is such a change to deal with a company with such good, friendly ,communication, who stick to their promises snd resolve problems quickly.

Sophie was very understanding of the issue I had with the Rainbird jacket and undertook to replace it with the newer design without further question. The replacement was sent the moment my returned jacket arrived at Finisterre and I haven’t looked back. The new jacket is a very good design, fit and most importantly - is weathertight!

Have to spend £100 for free shipping. Shipping isn’t the fastest. Discount codes which seem to initially work will not complete. The clothes are good but the brand premium is a little too high.

Bought a waterproof coat three years ago and recently the membrane had started to flake out of the hood. I contacted customer support just to make them aware of the issue, to hopefully help them making new waterproofs going forward. Instead they immediately replaced my jacket with a new one. Fantastic customer service! In addition, all their other products I have bought are top quality.

Men's Nieuwland 2mm Yulex® Long Sleeve Top. Bought for cold water swimming - utterly superb. I use it in Hampstead ponds every day. At the moment we are about 13 or 14 degrees and the top makes all the difference. Couple of laps and you don't even feel the cold. Bare legs of course are trembling. Compared this to decathlon's tops, but the Yulex wins in quality - note especially the neck (decathlon's chafe) thickness 2mm I think will be fine all winter. Real quality and money well spent. I went to the Finisterre shop in Neals Street - amazing customer service very knowledgable. I'm 6 foot and took a large, because the tops ride up slightly as you swim, but not enough to allow water in.

I have been a customer of Finisterre for over 15 years and have always been happy with every aspect of their products and customer service. Recently, and very unusually, I had cause to contact customer service to question the longevity of one of their products that I purchased some 4 years ago. The care and attention I received from every team member I dealt with was exemplarary and took all of the stress out of what might have been a difficult set of conversations. I was respectfully questioned about my purchase history and product care, communication between team members was flawless and then, very unexpectedly, I was offered a replacement garment which was sent to me in time for a holiday deadline. And I was introduced to the 'reskinned' service which helped ease my conscience. Thank you Finisterre - always happy to recommend.
