Great service. They sorted out an issue without fuss. I was able to contact them by email, and got a label replacement sent in the post free of charge. The couldn't have bee more helpful.

I purchased a waterproof jacket a couple of years ago from the Exeter branch. It was on offer, so from 150 pounds, it costed 75.
Prior to that, i had a North Face which had served me well for four years and was using it every day.
The Finisterre jacket lasted two years only. One of the buttons came off and yesterday, when trying to pull the band, on the bottom of the jacket, it just got torn hahaha.
Unbelievably low quality jacket. I am looking for a new one, but will definitely not be Finisterre.

Terrible customer service, premium price
Placed an order and after more than a week it wasn't dispatched. Emailed to ask for an update and was told it was out of stock and "sorry about that". Another week later and still no refund so I'm having to chase them up again.

Confusing info about issuing refunds
Edit: I did receive a full refund before the ten days. Not sure whether the message I’d received was a mistake?
However, the sizing was off and the jumper was somewhat disappointing, for the price.
The customer service on the phone before I returned the jumper was good and helpful.
Original review: I bought a jumper online using their sizing guide. It came up far too big and I returned it. Several days later I received notification that my return had been accepted and that it would take up to TEN BUSINESS DAYS to receive a refund - that might not be as much as the price I paid. I have no idea why it takes this long and would be reluctant to buy online from Finisterre again because of this. The jumper itself wasn’t great :(. Very scratchy and not worth £120, sadly.
Customer services listened
Customer services listened to my concerns and, despite having worn the jacket a few times, accepted that there was a fault with the zip so effectively refunded me and enabled me to pay the difference to purchase a new more expensive waterproof jacket. My only concern is that I hope they identify the fault when reselling it through Reskinned, for which I also received a discount. :-)

They do their best to rectify mistakes
I like their clothes and I admire that they fund and support marine conservation. They also support the RNLI which everyone knows is a brilliant charity
A satisfactory resolution to a customer service problem.
I called the customer relations line re a problem ordering an item on their website, and wrote a review detailing what I considered to be an incomplete response to their website /ordering problem.
Subsequent to the review , Finisterre have proposed a workaround for me to obtain the item, and offered me a 20% discount. I am pleased to say that this is for me, a satisfactory resolution to the issue .

Another brilliant customer service…
Another brilliant customer service review for Finisterre. I recently received an order - Firecrest Gilet - which was sent with the security tag still attached. When I contacted them they immediately sent a replacement item which I received within a couple of days along with a free return label. And I also contacted them about an item which was out of stock online and they sent me the phone number of a store which had one available which I was able to purchase over the phone. Brilliant customer service!
Great Service - Bath Branch
My wife and I went into the Bath Branch to look for a rain jacket each.
An exceptionally kind assistant by the name of Arabella came over to us and actually listened to what we thought we wanted. She then took us through the various items of clothing that they stocked. She answered technical questions and where she didn't know the answer she was not embarrassed to go and ask her colleagues for the information. Arabella made the shopping experience a thoroughly pleasant one. The other huge bonus is the 5 year warranty that is offered with the clothing we ended up buying. The initial cost looked expensive, but when you factor in the warranty period compared to other outdoor pursuit shops, it makes total sense.
I bought a £300 rain jacket from another mountain outdoor company and within 14 months it had started leaking and was of course out of the warranty period - very disappointing.
Finistere will be our first port of call when we are looking for more outdoor clothing.
