After several months of unresolved issues with my eyes, on recommendation, I went to see Mr Hickley at the Eye Correction Centre, Abergele.
Mr Hickley was very friendly, pleasant and professional and immediately put me at ease. After a thorough examination he was able to diagnose exactly what my problem was and clearly explained the possible solutions available.

I have had life long poor vision and finally plucked up the courage to explore the options of corrective surgery. After being referred to Mr Goel by my optician I was pleased to hear that he could offer me the corrective surgery to hopefully enable me to have less dependence on glasses. Mr Goel spent a lot of time and effort discussing the pros and cons of the procedure which enabled me to make a fully informed decision regarding the procedures. He was patient and kind in his manner whilst answering all my questions. I had the lens replacement surgery which was successful and resulted in the most achievable outcome for my particular visual problems. The premises, staff, administration and testing facilities were all excellent, and the consultation efficient, pleasant and informative.

I am a 66 year old woman and had quite severe myopia and cataract.
I had bilateral cataract surgery nearly a month ago, performed by Mr Mr Say Aun Quah via the Eye Correction Centre in Abergele. The procedure went very smoothly and I now have excellent distance vision and can also read without glasses.
The care I received from Mr Quah and his team from initial consultation, through the procedure and after care, was excellent. Mr Quah oversaw the entire process, which was very reassuring.
I suffer from claustrophobia, and take anti-platelet medication after a stroke so was very apprehensive about having the surgery. Mr Quah and his team were both very patient and helpful and saw me through in a very caring manner.

I have experienced the most amazing professional friendly care over the last few months from Mr Quah and his team at the Eye Correction Centre UK. From my initial consultation, right through to surgery and follow up after care appointments, liaising with his lovely secretary, care and attention has been second to none. I have had 'Refractive Mutifocal Lens Replacement' surgery. I wasn't recommended from anyone to see Mr Quah, I didn't know of anyone who had had this type of procedure. It was only by chance that I came across him, after looking through reviews on the Macclesfield Spire Regency Hospital website. I had my surgery performed by Mr Quah at Wilmslow Private Hospital. My care there, from Mr Quah's diagnostics technician, the theatre team and all staff I came into contact with was superb. My distance and reading sight is totally restored to what it was as a teenager. I didn't feel any pain at all during the procedure or thereafter. I can't thank Mr Quah enough. He is exceptional. He demonstrated such deep specialised, extensive knowledge and skill. Mr Quah is so kind and friendly, he didn't make me feel I couldn't ask any questions at all. An expert in his field. I am over the moon with the results from my multifocal lens replacement eye surgery and wouldn't hesitate recommending you and your team. Why would anyone not want this type of surgery, to be glasses free and never get a cataract in the future, it's life changing. I know I won't need to, but I would do it all over again in a heart beat. Thank you so much Mr Quah you are and have been incredible.

Dr Goel performed SMILE Eye Surgery on my eyes in September and he did a brilliant job. I was quite nervous about the procedure, but he made sure I stayed calm throughout it all, and the whole procedure only took a few minutes! Aftercare was also really good and elaborate.

My eyes only hurt a bit on the first day, and the next day my vision was already good enough to drive! Though they were still quite sensitive to light, got tired quickly and I struggled with reading from a screen. This is still improving in week 3, but it is almost perfect already!

The Eye Correction Centre was also really flexible with me being able to visit different centers in the country, due to me living quite remotely.
