I have parked my car for almost 11 days…

I have parked my car for almost 11 days and I have an issue with the parking payment system and I have contacted them and they were responding so quickly ! They’re friendly and professional and listen to you and helping you out with immediate assistance! Finally they decided to forgive me from payment because it wasn’t my fault and I’m so glad.
I fully recommend this firm.

This app is honestly one of the worst…

This app is honestly one of the worst I’ve ever used. If I could give zero stars—or even minus stars—I would.

Using the Evology app has ended up costing me £100 in a parking fine, and I’m absolutely furious. I followed the process, paid what the app told me to pay, and still had both my initial appeal and my POPLA appeal rejected. No one has been able to clearly explain what I supposedly did wrong.

The app is completely misleading and not user-friendly. I paid £2.70, which I reasonably believed covered up to 2 hours of parking (as that is the advertised tariff). But because of hidden or unclear additional charges, I had actually only paid for 1 hour—without any clear indication of that at the time. I stayed for 1 hour 31 minutes and was fined £100 as a result.

How is it acceptable that the total cost for 1 hour (with extra charges) ends up being exactly the same as the listed price for 2 hours? That is incredibly deceptive. At no point did the app make it clear I was only selecting 1 hour. I trusted the system and simply paid what it told me.

The whole experience has been stressful, confusing, and expensive—especially while dealing with a hospital visit and other personal commitments.

I feel completely misled and let down. I will never use this app again and strongly warn others to avoid it unless they want to risk the same outcome.

I would like a full refund of the £100 I’ve had to pay because of this.

Absolutely unacceptable.

Autopay doesn't work

I had an issue parking in the Wimborne high street car park. I parked there two days in a row and was NOT charged through the autopay system, even though I had registered a few days earlier. This is unacceptable. I'm now concerned that I'll receive two parking charges for a issue that was not my fault. I'd like to know what can be done about it.

I have tried for days to get through on your WhatsApp service, with no luck. I've also emailed via your online form. No response from that either

This is not good

I previously had a ParkingEye account with £20 credit for hospital staff parking, but since the changeover to Evology, that money seems to have vanished. The Evology app recognises my email address but won’t let me log in or reset my details, and I’ve been unable to access my account at all. Over the past six months, I’ve contacted Evology four times via their website and WhatsApp, clearly outlining the issue, but never received any reply. The customer service is effectively non-existent, and the app is not fit for purpose. I simply want to recover my account (and my £20) and be able to use the system as intended — but there seems no way to get help.

Everything went smoothly. Space was there, NPR worked fine. Straight in and straight out.

App DOES NOT WORK I HAVE PROOF

Forced to download app as my local car park (Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Quality Hotel) has now been taken over by this company. It worked the very first time but since then I have tried multiple times and it will not allow you to enter the location code or even by typing in the area or by having your location on - I have screen recording proof that the app auto deletes anything you try to type into it - this is criminal behaviour by a corporation and should be investigated by the police - this has gone beyond your usual shoddy parking companies. Once when I was desperate I parked there paying cash and it DID NOT GIVE A RECEIPT how convenient for them!

IWM North car park in Manchester

IWM North car park in Manchester - entered at 10:57 with apps and location confirming this time. Came back at 13:50 and went to pay with the app as you are forced to do.

App wasn’t working right - said we’d arrived an hour earlier than we did but thought it would be an easy fix as daylight savings time was the week before - sensor mustn’t have been updated or something. Couldn't be modified or changed though but wanted to get on with my day. Couldn’t sign in or make the payment even when authorised by my bank. Took a couple of tries. By the time I’d gotten signed in, authorised and paid it was 14:03. We left promptly at 14:04 having been incorrectly charged for 4 hours.

The WhatsApp link just takes you to an online form. When you fill out the online form it takes them nearly a week to get back to you - you’d think it would be hours or a day or two. When they eventually came back it was to say that I’d paid the correct amount of time and rounded up my exit time to 14:56! Absolute fraud in its barest form!

It seems to be the only way to pay so just be forewarned you may need to raise a dispute with your bank for a shoddy £2.50 or whatever but the fact is, it’s the principle - it’s wrong and fraudulent.

Useless system -cyclical waste of time

Both the app and website so user unfriendly that I have not even been able to register to book parking.
-when I put in my email and details to register it says either
'account already registered'
OR
'Unable to validate the information provided.'

When I try to reset my password since the system thinks I have an account (I don't), it sends a verification email that is accepted but then doesn't lead to any sort of login page.

The app closes and loses your progress with logging in or trying to book parking at a date/time/location, so as soon as you change screens (to check emails for verification code or to check if the attempt to create an account went through), all progress is lost and back to original page.

Cyclical waste of time. Useless system. Doesn't have a guest checkout where you can just book parking.

Avoid.

I had a very poor experience using the Evology parking app at the Evology car park.

The app automatically set an incorrect arrival time (09:49) which was not editable. I actually arrived at around 11:49 and paid at 11:58 after downloading the app. Because of this error, I was unable to select the correct parking duration.

If I had selected two hours, the booking would have ended before my actual payment time, which is clearly not usable. I was therefore forced to pay for four hours instead of the two hours I needed.

To make matters worse, the on-site payment machine was out of service, so there was no alternative way to pay correctly. My vehicle had already been recorded by ANPR, leaving me with no real choice.

The company has acknowledged there is a known technical issue with the app, but still refused to issue a partial refund.

Customers should not be forced to overpay due to faults in the system, especially when no working payment options are available.

Arrived at car park at 4pm, app insisted we’d arrived at 2pm and therefor tried to charge me double the cost. Ridiculously poor app, had terrible service every time I’ve used the app. Avoid this service like the plague.

Completely unacceptable

My phone app did not allow me to enter the location number on site. The pay machine at the car park did not allow any way of deleting or going back when you enter your vehicle registration. So I could not pay on site.
When I tried the app again when I arrived home, it still did not allow me to enter the location number.
Absolutely stupid.

Zero stars

I only give one star because there is no option for zero star. Terrible app. Difficulty logging in. Doesn’t accept passwords - everything about it is rubbish. Other parking apps are so much better. Why do establishments even use such a terrible app

Major problems with this app

Have been using this app for a few months now and some changes have been made that automatically changes the entry time to fifteen minutes ( so called free time ) before actual entry time which obviously has a knock on effect to departure time and hence giving the company cause to issue PCN, what a brilliant scam !!
Advise anyone using this awful app to take screenshot of parking receipt with timestamp of payment, a photo of entry into parking and also if paying by credit card a screenshot of payment time !
If this app was fair and not loaded in favour of the company this would not be necessary but sadly everyone needs to be extremely careful to avoid being scammed.

Customer service is incredibly unhelpful

Using the evology branded machine, I managed to make 2 concurrent payments for parking (as no ticket is printed and their payment was delayed so I had no notification on my app). I tried to contact their customer service who are incredibly un-helpful and put all onus on the carpark owner, despite it being their system that authorised 2 concurrent payments. They cut my support call off twice deliberately and refused to give me their complaints procedure. They refused to give me information on who the operator was and insisted I used a machine not owned by them, even though I sent a photo of their branded machine. Don't bother attempting to contact their customer service they'll do anything to avoid helping.

Excellent customer service and responded to my email query within 24hrs and to the second query immediately. This level of service is sadly la king in lots of organisations. Kayleigh is a good example of an employee who takes pride in her job. Thank you
