Booking with this mobile battery fitting service is easy, clear and each time I have used it, the technician arrived promptly with a friendly attitude and a very helpful manner; I have used this service a few times and would highly recommend it to anyone ( I have the van come to my home and fit a new battery )

As always, a great service provided from an Halfords technician. That's why I keep returning, because from searching to fitting is easy peasy. Friendly technician arrived at my home with 4 new tyres, gave an explanation of what the job entailed and got to work. A little while later, the job was done and away he rode, off into the sun... because it actually was a sunny morning that day.

1st time I've bought cheap tyres, they are so out of balance the 1st person put the maximum allowed weight and the 2nd added excessive weight just to get the balance bearable. Still not 100%, these aren't fit for purpose, I'll be requesting refund.

The mechanic who changed the tyre was excellent and professional. The rest of my experience with Halfords was a disaster. They sent me an email at the scheduled time for the tyre change saying they’d tried to contact me (which wasn’t true) and asking me to get in touch with them, and then they cancelled the appointment. And it took them another three days to give me a new appointment when I had a flat tyre. Very poor service.

Not a great service overall sadly,
Initial appointment was 8am to 8pm, so took a day off work, waited all day home, only to be told by Halfords that they have cancelled the appointment late on the day, no satisfactory explanation or an apology given,
This resulted in much inconvenience and a further loss of a use of a vehicle for another 48 hours, not to add an inconvenience of 8am to 8 pm appointment once again,
Work was carried out, but after driving the vehicle, it became apparent that wheel balancing is wrong and the steering shakes excessively at 60 mph,
I feel this service requires a significant improvements as multiple failures

Great service all round - easy online research, quote and booking. So convenient that the fitting of replacement tyres were done at our home. And great pricing too. Appreciate the promo discount and free fitting!!

Fantastic service, can't fault it. The technician arrived at a very reasonable time allowing me the rest of the day. They also did a brilliant job fitting my dashcam. It was definitely worth every penny and I would highly recommend.

It is easy to use the Halfords site to arrange what is required and a doorstop visit. The engineer arrived on time and was friendly and efficient.

Technician phoned in advance of arrival .He was very friendly ,respectful and polite.He was very competent and quickly and successfully completed the work with a positive manner.He stayed while I took car on a test drive in case of a problem, which there wasn't any

The booked appointment never happened. No information was supplied as to why nor any follow up arranged. I had to rearrange this myself. Very little customer care involved by Halfords.

Perfect service. Easy to book. No hassle whatsoever. Didn't cost any more than a trip to a garage where I'd have to wait about, or potentially leave my car for a couple of hours. I will use this service everytime from now on.

I booked a tyre replacement a couple of weeks ahead, selecting an all day (8am to 8pm) green slot. I received an email the day before and on the morning, confirming that the technician would be attending.
However - having waited in for 12 hours - by 8pm, the technician had failed to arrive.
There was no explanation by email or otherwise, and I was left to telephone Customer Services the next day to find out what had gone wrong.
I was informed that the allocated technician had been ill: an apology, but no explanation as to why I had not been informed at any point.
I have rebooked - and hope that, this time when I wait in, someone will attend.
I am not impressed: what I booked as a convenience, has turned out to be incredibly inconvenient.

I recently used the Halfords Mobile Fitting Centre for an at-home service to have two new tyres fitted. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish.

They arrived right on time, and the job was super quick and efficient. Mike was the fitter and he was outstanding — friendly, professional, and really helpful.

He explained everything clearly, worked neatly, and made sure the tyres were fitted perfectly.

Doing it at home made everything so convenient — no driving to a centre or waiting around. Easily the best tyre fitting experience I’ve had.

Highly recommend Mike and the Halfords Mobile team. I’ll definitely be using them again!
